The Walking Dead: Season Two Episode 1 All That Remains
Xbox 360 (DLC)
2013
Dem Feels.
I gotta start this off saying I'm glad that all the choices you made in Season One matters in Season Two. Telltale Games once again gives us chills and thrills with their Walking Dead game. I'm not going to spoil anything but the story was very good here.
The game play is improved and the button mashing moments we had in The Wolf Among Us is imported into The Walking Dead games. Even some of the choice making parts are made better with you looking at the person you're going to side with.
And unlike The Wolf Among Us I didn't experience any bugs at all. Seems Telltale Games made sure to polish this before releasing it.
While this episode does offer some great drama this is only the first episode. Unlike the first episode of Season One this season started out with both good puzzles and some strong action. But this episode really is just the building block for future episodes. It makes scene that things are vague and that it ended in a cliffhanger.
If you didn't go through the first season I'd recommend going through that first but it's not totally necessary. But it would be like playing Mass Effect 2 before playing Mass Effect. The choices from the last game are made for you and you miss a lot that happened before.
Whatever I recommend getting this.
I give this game a
8/10.
