I keep reading that Nintendo is losing more and more money on their new console. So do you think Nintendo will be able to hang in there or do you think The Wii U will go the way of The Dreamcast?

Itll last. Some think it coming out a year before the other 2 as well as being thought of as a Wii upgrade has something to do with it.

I think it will, Nintendo's having some crisis with the console but I think there's a lot of people out there who still want it and already have it.

My opinion, it was foolish to come out with the console a year before XBOX ONE and the PS4, 'cause now the next gen consoles are wiping the floor with Nintendo.

That gamepad is adding too much to the cost of the console. It's only a $100 cheaper than PS4 but is only slightly more powerful than the last generation consoles... apparently.

Plus it had really poor marketing like Dead said. Everyone thought it was an upgrade to The Wii

Really? I think it's the smartest thing they could have done. Get their new console out there well before the better ones.

Yeah I think there's no way people would have been interested in it if PS4 and Xbox One was already out.

Its still an amazing console, im having a lot of fun playing it

Yeah, if Nintendo had brought out there console alongside the other two then they wouldn't have got like half the sales they currently have...

What it needed was far better branding. Casual gamers, which the original Wii attracted like nothing else before it, just think the Wii U is some weird upgrade they don't need. But I'm sure it will last and eventually pick up. Nintendo just need to stop living in their own bubble so much.

Eventually I'll buy one, as it does look some good fun.
