M8 | Luis Claudio vs. Maddox Paine Empty
PostSubject: Re: M8 | Luis Claudio vs. Maddox Paine   M8 | Luis Claudio vs. Maddox Paine EmptySat Mar 01, 2014 8:59 am

Up next is a match between two big men. The duo of superstars are very similar in size, Maddox Paine being six foot five and weighing two hundred and sixty-five pounds whilst his opponent Luis Claudio is six foot three and weighs just one pound less than Paine. Both are new to the company, Maddox having wrestler only a few matches thus far and this being Luis' debut battle. Of course, Luis has wrestled for years in Puerto Rico, so it's not like he's a newcomer to the game, and Maddox has already proven to be a force during his short time in XWA. After hearing the sonance of the bell ring thrice, the two big men walk up to one another in the center of the ring; a stare-down commencing. The audience is electric here as they wait to see what will happen next between these two Goliaths. With a smirk on his face, Maddox holds his hands up, wanting a test of strength with his similar-in-size opponent. Luis contemplates it for a few seconds before deciding to accept, as he grabs a hold of his opponent's hands and the two begin pushing with all of their might. Their faces turn a bright red as the struggle between Maddox and Luis is clearly a very close one, neither superstar managing to gain an upper hand. That is until Luis blind sides his opponent with a knee to the gut! The dirty tactic from the member of La Revolución Hispana garners boos from the audience, whom already didn't like him for his alignment with the Mexico Champion. Luis pushes Maddox back to the ropes before attempting an Irish Whip. Paine manages to reverse it into an Irish Whip of his own, however, as he sends his opponent dashing towards the ropes. Expecting him to return in time for a Back Body Drop, Maddox bends over in anticipation of the maneuver. Unfortunately for him, things don't go as planned. Luis does return, but he leaps into the air before reaching Paine and drops both feet on the back of his head with a violent Double Foot Stomp! Maddox is forced to go face-first into the canvas, as Claudio quickly turns him onto his back and goes for the first cover of the match. One! T—Kickout just after one at the early pin attempt.

Ted Cedar
"Very innovative Double Foot Stomp there by Luis Claudio. These are two big, powerful men. I've never seen Luis wrestle before, but I can tell this is going to be a fight already."

Joey Miles
"Well, I have seen this motherfucker wrestle before, over in Puerto Rico. The guy is good. There's a reason Dominik recruited him and it isn't because they're cousins-in-law. Then again, Maddox is good too. This is going to be fucking great."

Luis gets back to a vertical base and immediately targets the head of his opponent, stomping down on Maddox's forehead multiple times. The way Luis is going after Paine's head, it seems like he has intentions of a concussion on his mind. Eventually, "El Diablo" pulls his one pound heavier opponent back up to his feet and proceeds to throw him into the corner of the ring. He lands a swift punch to the head, for good measure, before going to work on the Samoan wrestler with Shoulder Thrust after Shoulder Thrust. He lands lucky number thirteen Shoulder Thrusts directly into the mid-section of the slightly bigger man before taking a few steps back to create some space. Well, a tad bit more than a few, as he backs all the way up to the opposing turnbuckle. With his sights set firmly on Maddox, Luis rushes forward, running at his opponent and then leaping into the air, looking for a jumping Shoulder Thrust! Unfortunately for Luis, Paine manages to move out of the way just in time and the Puerto Rican wrestler goes shoulder-first into the steel post, the impact of the move sending him flying to the outside of the ring! The audience bursts in cheers, despite not being fans of either of these men really, because the action spills to the outside of the ring. XWA referee Ryu Sanu begins to count, only to have to restart his count after reaching two because Maddox exited the ring. The big man looks at his downed opponent whilst swiping the hair out of his face. He kneels over, waiting for Luis to get back up, which he slowly does by the security barricade, right in front of the time keeper's area. Once Luis is nearly up to an erect base, he hears a loud, mighty roar coming from behind him. When he turns around to see what it is, all he sees are feet flying at him as Maddox lands a running front Dropkick that sends Claudio flipping backwards over the security barricade and into the time keeper's area! Again the fans cheer as Ryu reaches a count of four.

Ted Cedar
"Brutal running Dropkick by Maddox Paine right there. He just put Luis right into the time keeper's area!"

Joey Miles
"Yeah, poor Johnny. Wait, is our time keeper's name Johnny? I've always called him Johnny but I never actually asked. Huh."

Maddox reaches over the barricade and grabs Luis by his long, black hair. He pulls him over the barricade and back into the ring-side area before grabbing him by the upper leg and neck and raising him into the air ala Military Press. Whilst holding him in the air, showcasing his tremendous strength, Paine walks away from the time keeper's area and then drops his opponent chest-first onto the security barricade, right in front of the fans! Not done yet, however, Maddox tosses his opponent's lower body over the barricade and into the crowd area, before pulling him by the hair and draping his upper body over the barricade in the ring-side area. He starts going to work on his opponent's back with forearm shots. He doesn't just land one, or two, or even three. He lands ten consecutive forearm shots in a row! Realizing Ryu is now at a count of eight, Maddox quickly slides into the ring and then rolls back out, forcing him to restart his count. He then lands one more forearm shot to the back of the draped over Luis for good measure before climbing onto the barricade. Whilst trying to keep his balance, Maddox takes a few steps forward and then jumps into the air, landing a Leg Drop to the back of the neck of Luis Claudio! The impact of the move causes Luis to flip into the ring-side area and off of the security barricade, as Maddox lands on his feet. He looks down at his opponent, whom lays on his back on the cold, thinly padded floor outside of the ring, with a smirk on his face; Maddox clearly happy with his handy work. The audience lets out a mixed reaction, but most of it consists of cheers due to tem hating La Revolución Hispana more than they hate Maddox Paine.

Ted Cedar
"Maddox has taken firm control of this match-up right now."

Joey Miles
"Good. Wait, no, bad. I mean good. No, bad. Shit. I don't know who to root for, Theodore! Fuuuuuuuuuuuuck!"

Maddox wastes little time in going back on the attack as he pulls his opponent back up to a perpendicular base and drills into him with a stiff European Uppercut, followed by another one and then a third. He then latches onto his adversary's wrist and pulls him into an Irish Whip, sending him rushing towards the steel steps. Luis falls on his way to the steps and crashes shoulder-first into them, with the impact causing both the top and bottom halves of the steps to topple over! Maddox lets out another mighty roar before grabbing his opponent by his head and tossing him back into the ring. He rolls in after him and immediately goes for the cover. One! Two! Kickout, just after two. Maddox isn't disheartened by the kickout, however, expecting as much from the newcomer to XWA. He gets back to a vertical base before contemplating his next course of action. Once he decides what to do next, the monstrous powerhouse pulls his adversary back to his feet before kicking him in the gut and applying a Front Chancery while hooking his arm over his shoulder. He then lifts his opponent into the air ala Suplex, but he doesn't drop him. Instead, he decides to let the blood rush to the head of Luis as he stalls, holding his opposition upside-down in the center of the ring! Maddox even takes things up a notch by letting go of his opponent with one hand, holding him up solely with his other hand to demonstrate just how powerful he is! The crowd can't help but cheer for the sheer strength of this man as he finally, after twelve seconds, decides to drop Luis onto the canvas with a Suplex. Paine immediately hops on top of his opponent and goes for the lateral press. One! Two! But it's another kickout at two!

Ted Cedar
"The power of this Maddox Paine is impressive, Joey. He's completely man-handling Luis right now and Luis isn't a very small man himself!"

Joey Miles
"Maddox is a beast, straight up. But so is Luis. Mark my words, Theodore, Luis is going to turn things around. Will he win? Who knows. It could go either way. But he won't just stand for getting dominated like this."

Maddox gets up into a seated position as he looks over at his foe; Luis clearly feeling the effects of the blood being rushed to his brain followed by the Suplex. Paine gets back to his feet whilst pulling his adversary up with him before clutching onto the wrist of the La Revolución Hispana member. He follows this up by powerfully Irish Whipping him into the corner of the ring, where Luis turns to avoid connecting front-first and slams back-first into the turnbuckle instead, breaking a little of the impact. Maddox runs at his prey, looking for some sort of turnbuckle Splash or Clothesline, but he's instead met with a boot to the face from Luis, causing him to stumble backwards, holding his jaw in pain. Maddox shakes his head to sort of shake the cobwebs, so to speak, as he turns around only to get absolutely blasted with a nasty Clothesline from Luis! "Get up, perro!" yells Luis, receiving a response of boos from the audience. Slowly but surely, Maddox does as Luis instructed, but perhaps not because he was told to do so. Rather, he gets back to his feet with a slight stumble in his step because he knows he needs to take control of this match once again. Unfortunately for the big Samoan, that is not going to happen right now as he's immediately lifted off of the ground and Scoop Slammed back down onto the canvas by Luis! Now it's Claudio with his own mighty roar as he makes his way to the corner of the ring. He begins to ascend to the very top whilst Maddox slowly gets up off of the canvas. Upon reaching the very top of the turnbuckle, Luis perches himself there whilst waiting for Maddox to reach a perpendicular base. When the timing is just right, Luis leaps off of the top turnbuckle, drilling his knee into the side of his opponent's head with his signature Rodilla Voladora maneuver! The audience actually cheers for the high flying efforts of Luis as he goes for the cover. One! Two! Th—Kickout just before two and a half!

Ted Cedar
"Oh my! What a diving knee by a Luis! I'm surprised Maddox was able to kick out of that one!"

Joey Miles
"What I tell ya, eh? Luis is a beast."

Luis slams his hands off of the canvas in anger, thinking that would surely be a three count. Nevertheless, he must continue the match and he does so by pulling his opponent back to a vertical base. He begins to work on the left leg of his adversary as he lands short Roundhouse Kicks to it. He snaps his opponent in the leg over and over with these Martial Arts-style kicks, looking to take the big man's leg out to prevent him from being able to properly utilize his power by keeping him from standing. Once he feels he's done enough to the leg of his foe, he decides to showcase his own strength by lifting Maddox onto his right shoulder. He then aims towards the ropes, tossing his opponent off of his shoulder and sending him face-first into the top turnbuckle with a Snake Eyes! Before Maddox can even react to the move, Luis applies a Waist Lock and pulls him backwards into a German Suplex, bridged with a pin attempt. One! Two! Thr—But Paine kicks out at two and a half! Leisurely, the two men get back to their feet. Once standing, Maddox tries to catch his adversary off guard as he rushes towards him, looking to land his Charging Spear finisher! Unfortunately for him, Luis manages to dodge to the side, however, and now it's Maddox's time to go crashing into the steel post! Unlike Luis, however, he doesn't go flying all the way out of the ring. Instead, he slowly pulls his upper body out of the turnbuckle, holding onto his shoulder in pain. He stumbles away from the turnbuckle and stands erect, only to be drilled with a Clothesline that takes him straight over the top rope and sends him flying to the outside! Luis raises both hands in fists while Maddox hits the floor hard outside of the ring and the audience shower him with a very mixed reaction, only some cheering heard due to Maddox being highly disliked too. Luis stands near the ropes, looking out at Maddox, as he appears to have a plan in his mind. He waits, anxiously, for Paine to reach a vertical base. Slowly but surely, "The Titan" does just this, and Claudio rushes in the opposite direction. He rebounds off of the ropes and returns to go flying over the top rope, front flipping into a Somersault Suicide Dive directly onto his opponent! The audience actually erupts into cheers following the high impact move that caught them off guard, as a "This Is Awesome" chant begins.

Ted Cedaqr
"Wow! Did you see the height Luis got on that move?! Who'd have thought someone as big as him could pull off something like that?!"

Joey Miles
"Me."

XWA official Ryu begins a count to ten as both men are slow to rise on the outside of the ring. By the count of three, they're both up to their feet, but neither man is quite stable right now. Luis, having taken less damage off of that fall, is the first to go back to the action as he grabs his opponent by his long hair and slams his head into the commentary table not once, not twice, but three times! As Maddox drops down to one knee, Luis begins to clear off the top of the commentary table, much to the delight of the crowd. Joey and Ted get out of the way, whilst Luis targets Maddox again. He puts Maddox's head in between his legs and lifts him up onto his shoulders for a Powerbomb set-up! He turns towards the table, ready to plow the slightly bigger man straight through it! However, Paine begins to fight back. He lands punch after punch after punch to the head of his adversary, eventually causing him to loosen his grip just enough for Maddox to drop down behind the Puerto Rican wrestler. Maddox stumbles away from him as Luis quickly turns around. He runs at Maddox, trying to surprise him with an attack, but Paine quickly ducks down, lifting his opponent up by the mid-section and dropping him ferociously onto the thinly-padded floor outside of the ring with a Spinebuster! The crowd lets out a mixed reaction, mostly with cheers for the big man however, as Maddox stumbles back into the ring. The referee is now at a count of six and Luis is down. The Cidra-native doesn't move an inch for a little bit. It isn't until Ryu reaches a count of eight that he starts to crawl towards the ring. He uses the ring skirt to pull himself back to his feet as the referee counts nine. Right before the official can count ten, Luis slides into the ring, much to the chagrin of Maddox Paine!

Ted Cedar
"He's back in! Somehow, someway, Luis made it back into the ring before the count of ten! What a debut match this has been so far for this man."

Joey Miles
"trust me, Theodore, Luis isn't about losing via countout. He's above that shit. It's gonna take more than a Spinebuster on the outside to take him out, while most men would just give up right there."

Maddox immediately goes back to work on his opponent the second he reenters the ring, as he stomps down all over his back and the back of his head. The big man begins to pull his adversary to his feet, whilst clubbing away at his back in the process. Once he's footed, Paine sends "El Diablo" dashing towards the ropes with an Irish Whip. He returns just in time to receive a knee to the gut, causing him to flip straight onto his back as Maddox lands a Kitchen Sink. I suppose nobody can say he's thrown everything at him but the kitchen sink now. #Puns Maddox goes for the cover. One! Two! Thr—Kickout at two and a half! "The God Amongst Men" immediately transitions from the pin into a Seated Headlock, looking to continue his onslaught and possibly make Luis either tap out or pass out. The two men are in the center of the ring, so a rope break seems to be out of the question right now. Luis has no choice but to find some other way out of this hold. So, naturally, that's what he does. Steadily, he begins to rise back to his feet despite his opponent having the Headlock applied firmly. Upon reaching a perpendicular base, Luis drills his opponent in the mid-section multiple times with elbow shots. The fourth shot is the one that causes Maddox to let go of his hold. Instantly, Luis runs to the ropes. He returns, but we'll never know what he had planned as he runs straight into a Big Boot from the big man. Instead of going for the pin, however, Paine has bigger plans for his downed adversary. He heads to the nearest turnbuckle and steps onto the apron before beginning to ascend the ropes. It's not often you see a man as big as Maddox go to the top rope. Then again, it's not often you see a man the size of Luis go flipping over the top rope. Upon reaching the top turnbuckle, Maddox perches himself there, looking down to be surprised as Luis is no longer laid out on the canvas! Instead he's rushing towards the ropes, where he bounces off of the top rope, causing a vibration that knocks Maddox off of his balance and causes him to slip into a seated position on the top rope! With his mouth agape, Paine sits on the top turnbuckle in pain and Luis begins to climb the turnbuckle from inside the ring. Upon reaching the middle turnbuckle, he lands a few punches to the head of his opponent and applies a Front Chancery. He hooks his opponent's arm around his shoulder, clearly setting up for a Superplex. Maddox grabs a hold of the top rope to block it, however. Luis tries again, but it's again blocked. Now Maddox begins fighting back with punch after punch to the mid-section of Luis, eventually causing him to release his grip after the third punch. The Samoan wrestler Headbutts Luis twice, causing him to drop backwards off of the turnbuckle and crash back-first on the canvas! Maddox pulls himself up to a vertical base on the top turnbuckle as the crowd looks on, waiting for what is about to happen. Maddox leaps off of the top turnbuckle, crashing leg-first onto his foe's neck and face with a humongous Leg Drop! The audience cheers at the big risk Maddox took whilst he goes for the cover, fans counting along with the referee. One! Two! Thre—But Luis somehow kicks out at the last moment possible!

Ted Cedar
"Luis kicks out of the top rope Leg Drop!"

Joey Miles
"God damn."

Both men are down. While Luis managed to kick out of the Leg Drop, he's far from one hundred percent after it and even Maddox is in pain from the big leap, as well as everything else he's endured in this match. Fatigue is definitely setting in. Since neither man is moving much right now, Ryu has no choice but to begin a ten count that could potentially lead to a double count out. Neither man moves until the count of six, when both start to stir. Maddox is moving a tad bit quicker than his opponent, as the two start to clamber back to a vertical base. At the count of seven, Maddox has made it to one knee. Eight and Luis is there. The official counts nine and finally Maddox is back up, followed immediately by Luis. The two begin to exchange shots. A punch from Maddox, an elbow from Luis, each hit lands flush on the opponent's cheek. Eventually, it's Maddox whom gains the upper hand landing interrupted punch after interrupted punch. Quickly, he kicks his opponent in the gut and puts his head in between his legs. He lifts Luis onto his shoulders and now it's Maddox going for a Powerbomb! However, this one is his finishing maneuver, the Titan Bomb! Much-like Paine did when Luis set him up for a Powerbomb, Claudio starts to fight back with punch after punch, before surprising his opponent with an out-of-the-blue reversal into a Hurricanrana! The two shoot back to their feet, perhaps running on adrenaline at this point, as Maddox runs into a Clothesline from his foe. He gets back to his feet and takes a second Clothesline. After getting to his feet again, Luis kicks him in the gut and applies a Double Underhook Front Chancery. He then drops down, pulling his adversary into the Planta de la Cara; a Double Underhook DDT! Luis goes for the cover. One! Two! Thre—No! Maddox kicks out! Luis looks up with a complete expression of desperation on his face. Leisurely, he gets back up to his feet and begins to lift Maddox back up, but Maddox catches him off guard with a punch to the gut. Quickly, he wraps his arm around his opponent's mid section in a Gutwrench style, before lifting him into the air and sending him crashing onto the canvas with a Gutwrench Suplex! Instead of going for the pin, however, Maddox rolls over to the corner of the ring. He uses it to help him back to his feet before letting out an almighty roar. He kneels down, clearly setting up for his other finisher, the Charging Spear! Once Luis is standing, Maddox rushes forward at him, looking for the move, but Luis surprisingly leap frogs over his opponent! Maddox doesn't crash into the steel post this time, however something even worse happens for him; Luis spinning around and drilling his foe in the back of the head with a Spinning Back Chop dubbed the Carrera de la Muerte! Not done yet, Luis pulls his opponent back to his feet and lifts him into the air once more, ala Powerbomb. This time, he drops him down whilst jumping and connecting both of his knees into the opponent's back with a Lungblower known as his other finisher, the Potencia Bomba! Luis immediately goes for the cover. One! Two! Three!

DING! DING! DING!

Ted Cedar
"He did it! Luis wins his debut! What a match!"

Joey Miles
"Poor Maddox. But yay Luis! Long live La Revolución Hispana!"

Luis gets back to his feet and the referee raises his hand in victory as "Rompe" by Daddy Yankee plays in the background. The audience applaud the efforts of the two men, despite not liking either of them, for one hell of a match.

Laura Watts
"Here is your winner, by pinfall, Luis Claudio!"

With Luis in the ring, staring at his downed former opponent, the show fades to a commercial break.

M8 | Luis Claudio vs. Maddox Paine Empty
PostSubject: Re: M8 | Luis Claudio vs. Maddox Paine   M8 | Luis Claudio vs. Maddox Paine EmptySat Mar 01, 2014 11:53 pm

Both men stand completely adjacent on opposite sides of the ring. Maddox grabs onto the ropes behind him as he leans in the turnbuckle. His sneaky manager stands right on the ring apron, whispering a bunch of stuff into his ear. Luis Claudio stands bizarely on the opposite side. Outside the ring in his corner are Martin Garcia, Gabriel Best, his cousin Samantha Valentina Claudio, and the XWA World Heavyweight Champion, Dominik Diveraz, who are all out here to see what he is capable of and to give him support as his stable.

DING! DING! DING!

As the bell rings to start this match, both men quickly head to the center of the ring to face each other. Luis stands only 2 inches shorter and only a pound less heavy than the monster Maddox Paine. Both of these guys are evenly matched, and they look to prove to one another who is the better man here tonight. Because both of these guys are, by definition, “heels,” the fans can't really decide who to cheer for, and thus they will wait before they make their decision. Both men stand directly eye to eye, not trying to give an inch of weakness for their opponent to take advantage of. Suddenly they launch their arms out at each other at the same time and get tangles in a collar-and-elbow lock up! Quickly, Maddox  shoves Luis back and manages to press him against the turnbuckle. They remain in the lock up and Luis quickly tilts his body to the side, shoving Maddox into the middle of the ropes while keeping the lock up on tight. Maddox uses the momentum of the ropes to tilt his own body, and he shoves Luis into the turnbuckle to his right, all while keeping the collar-and-elbow locked in. Once they end their little dance, Maddox releases the lock-up and shoves Claudio in the corner rudely, much to Luis's dismay. Claudio and Paine eye each other again, as now they both acknowledge that this will not be a game.

Ted Cedar: “A battle of strength between these two warriors to start a match that will surely include a lot more of that!”

Joey Miles: “I'm not sure who to root for. I'm stuck in the middle of this. Fuck.”

Luis rockets out of the corner and both men almost instantly lock up in the collar-and-elbow once again, but this time, Claudio manages to pull Maddox close enough to quickly wrap him into a headlock. The Titan is quick to try and get out of it as he shoves Claudio into the ropes before using the bounce to push the member of the all Hispanic stable into the opposite ropes. Luis runs back towards Maddox, who ducks under him. Both men run towards opposite sides of the ring, and they bounce off the ropes towards each other. Unfortunately for Luis Claudo, he happened to be on the same side of the ring as Eric Badman, who pulls his leg in an attempt to trip him! Luis stumbles forward, but instead of capitalizing, The Titan stops in his tracks and then angrily eyes his manager. “DON'T INTERFERE IN MY MATCH UNLESS THEY GET INVOLVED! I DON'T NEED HELP TO BEAT HIM!” he screams at Badman while pointing at the stable outside the ring. The fans give a positive response to Paine not being sneaky. Claudio is a bit surprised, but he doesn't bother to question it.

Ted Cedar: “That sneaky Eric Badman tried to get involved but Maddox turned his help down!”

Joey Miles: “He doesn't need help! He can do it on his own!”

Both men bring the focus back onto each other inside the ring. Luis quickly throws a big right leg forward and slaps Paine's ribs with a gut kick. The large Puerto Rican then quickly grabs Paine by the back of the head before shoving him face-first into the turnbuckle. Paine rolls over and leans in the corner on his back. Claudio swings a big right chop to the semi-protected chest of Paine and weakens him up a bit. “El Diablo” charges back full speed before colliding in the corner with a huge body press! Paine groggily doubles over a bit, but Claudio keeps him up. Luis Claudio then drops down to one knee before charging forward and driving his shoulder nto Paine's ribs. He pulls back and then hits a second shoulder thrust, and then a slow third. He finally pulls out of the corner and grabs Maddox by the back of the head to pull him out too. He quickly spins over and flings him out through the middle of the ropes, tossing him out onto the floor outside. The Titan lands right next to the devious Eric Badman. Claudio exits the ring and stands on the ring apron near one of the steel posts, creating a good amount of distance between him and Paine. Paine slowly gets up to his feet, trying to shake off the pain. As soon as he turns towards Luis, Claudio quickly runs on the apron towards Maddox and flies towards him, nailing him in the face with his signature Rodilla Voladora, or flying knee to the face! Paine hits the ground hard as the large Hispanic man lands near him, taking a bit of a bump off the aerial move that causes the fans to cheer.

Ted Cedar: “A beautiful move by the Puerto Rican-born Luis Claudio!”

Joey Miles: “How does a big motherfucker like that get that kind of air?”

Claudio lays on one knee as he tries to shake it off. Paine is on the ground trying to keep conscious. Eric Badman stands next to them slightly facepalming. He could have helped Maddox avoid that but chose not to out of fear of being scolded by the big man for it. Claudio gets up to his feet as referee Jack Hammer is at a count of “2!” - Luis pulls The Titan back up to his feet slowly before grabbing the back of his head and flinging him into the steel steps. Paine lands back first and leans against them while crouching slightly. Claudio stands on the opposite side before charging towards Maddox in an attempt to take both himself and his opponent out with a tackle. Paine uses his speed and agility to dart to the left, avoiding the collison at the last second. Unfortunately for Claudio, he isn't able to stop in time and he goes left-shoulder-first into the steel steps! The steps fly to the side as Luis drops onto the ground. Over by the announcers table, the XWA World Champion Dominik Diveraz shutters a bit at the sight of his cousin in law being driven into those steps at that intensity.

Joey Miles: “Son of a bitch, that had to hurt!”

Ted Cedar: “Paine may have created somewhat of an opening!”

Maddox slowly gets to his feet as the ref is at “5!” - The self proclaimed “God Amonst Men” quickly rolls into the ring and then rolls back out, looking to punish his opponent. He wouldn't want to win via countout anyway. He approaches Claudio, who is slowly getting up to his feet, and grabs the back of his long hair before sending him face-first directly into the security barricade. The fans around him cheer as Paine presses him against the barricade by pushing his left palm against Luis's face and then swinging a thick, intense right hand right into the ribs of Luis! Claudio groggily stumbles forward and Paine uses his strength to raises him up onto his shoulder in an Oklahoma Slam-position, trying to drop him in a snake eyes against the ring apron, unfortunately for him, Claudio has him well scouted, and he drops behind Maddox. He shoves him forward, using the momentum of The Titan as he already ran forward, and Paine does a big spin before going back-first against the ring apron. Claudio darts towards him and swings an upper-cut like jab right to the stomach, making a slapping noise. He then pulls back and swings an intense right hand directly to the face of Paine, making another slapping noise. Claudio hears the ref at a count of “4!” so he tries to hurry up and finish his work.

Ted Cedar: “Just like that, this match is right back to Luis Claudio!”

Joey Miles: “This is definitely gonna keep going back and forth, neither of these men is going to make it easy on the other, these are two tough sons of bitches!”

Luis grabs a hold of Maddox's left arm with his own right and pulls him in before dropping him down with a nasty shoulder block! The collision forces Luis back a bit, but Maddox is the one who falls due to the position of the move. Claudio bends over and pulls Paine's long hair before raising him up and sliding him into the ring under the bottom rope. He takes his time to get back in the ring as he first flicks his hair out of his eyes. He then turns over to his cousin in law and the rest of his stable. They all approve and he then begins to slide into the ring. As soon as he makes it to his feet, Paine has already stood up and bounced on the ropes to the opposite side of Luis. Paine charges towards him full speed before leaping into the air while tilting his body sideways, driving the side of his right knee into the face of Claudio with a huge Running Knee Lift! Claudio hits the mat hard as Paine drops to two knees. Paine goes for the first pin of the match. “1!” “2!” - Claudio kicks out right before the 2 count. Maddox grouchily works his way up to his feet and at the same time, grips a handful of Puerto Rican hair. He pulls Luis back and seats him against the turnbuckle. Maddox then raises his big powerful right foot and begins to stomp in the corner, bouncing a bit after each stomp for noise effect. Stomp, stomp, stomp to the chest, each preceded by a stomp to the mat with the other foot simultaneously. Then, Paine presses his right leg against the neck of Luis and presses down on it as hard as he can while grabbing on to the top rope with both hands for leverage.

Ted Cedar: “Both of these men share similar qualities. Both of them are fairly large men who at the same time are very talented and athletic. This is Luis's first match in XWA and he's already looking impressive so far.”

Joey Miles: “Don't forget to mention that both of these men could kick your ass in a million different ways! I wouldn't wanna be in the ring with either of these monsters!”

Referee Jack Hammer begins to count. “1!” “2!” “3!” “4!” - “C'mon Paine, off him!” - he pulls back on Maddox, who continues to choke away on Luis. Instead of counting to 5, Hammer pulls Paine back pathetically. He manages to get Paine to angrily turn towards him as the small referee then pushes Paine away from Claudio. “Behave yourself or I'll DQ you!” “WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE, YOU MERE MAN?” – while Paine argues with the referee, Luis makes it up to his feet! Claudio closes in the space between him and Paine before swinging a huge right fist, smashing Paine in the face. He swings another, stomping a single foot on the ground for noise. Stomp, stomp, stomp, each stomp representing a different right blow to the face of Maddox Paine. At the same time as the stomp, a sickening slap is heard from each one of the punches. Luis leans Paine against the ropes before whipping him to the opposite side. Paine bounces back and Luis attempts a big lariat, but it is ducked by The Titan! Maddox bounces off the opposite ropes and leaps into the air before swinging a nasty whip-like right lariat, dropping Luis to the mat with sick impact! The crowd goes “Ooooh” at the sound of the sick lariat! Outside the ring, Eric Badman claps for his client's intensity.

Ted Cedar: “That was a sickening lariat, Maddox damn near took Claudio's head off!”

Joey Miles: “Hehe. I can still hear the ringing of the slap in my ears!”

Paine roars a bit and then turns back towards Dominik Diveraz near the announcers seat. Paine looks over the top rope and shouts at him. “I'M COMING FOR THAT TITLE, YOU'RE NEXT, 'ESE'!” as he points down at Diveraz and then outlines the title around his waist with his hands. He then turns back towards Luis Claudio, who is struggling to get back up. Maddox walks over to him and gets him with a lateral press for a pin. “1!” “2!” - no! He kicks out! Maddox quickly mounts up on top of him and begins to swing. He pulls Claudio's head up with his left hand while driving hard rights to his forehead. One, two, three, four, five. Before Jack Hammer has to intervene and pull him off again, telling him that closed fist punches aren't allowed. Maddox then bends over and lifts the Puerto Rican up to his feet. He squeezes the life out of him with a bearhug, but only for a few seconds before he raises him up for a belly-to-belly suplex, sending the huge man flying overhead and right down to the mat! Luis rolls onto his butt, holding his back. Paine slides over to him and then quickly keeps him grounded by locking in a floored headlock, tightening his grip around Luis's neck! Luis can't do much in terms of technicality due to the position he is in, but he has to figure something out, as Maddox is choking the life out of him with that headlock! Samantha looks into the ring and encourages her cousin to “Get up!” - but it's not like he's not already trying that. The crowd begins to clap slowly, encouraging Claudio to try and get up to his feet and break the headlock.

Joey Miles: “Imagine that arm wrapped around your neck! It must feel like getting squeezed by an anaconda!”

Ted Cedar: “and if anyone could take that, it appears to be this young man, Luis Claudio. He does not appear to be giving up at all!”

Paine tightens up as much as he can but this only pumps “El Diablo” even more! Claudio begins to work his way up by pressing up on the mat using his hands. He pushes up as Paine tries to put more and more pressure on his hold. Luis works up to one knee as Paine follows suit, kneeling to the right of Claudio while keeping his hold on tight. Luis works his way up to his feet and as Maddox stands to his right, he swings a big elbow to his ribs. And another. And another. Paine loosens up his grip and Luis quickly throws a big knee lift right to the same ribs. Claudio then tosses another hard right fist directly to the face of Maddox Paine. Paine weakens up a bit and Claudio pushes him against the nearest turnbuckle before whipping him to the other side of the ring. Paine throws a big leg and stomps the middle turnbuckle to stop himself. He then grabs on to the top rope with both hands. Miraculously, using his grip and strength Maddox Paine puls himself up and then leaps really high into the air landing with both feet on the top rope! Due to his size, he is forced to pause for a bit as soon as he stands on the top rope. The fans are in awe at the fact that a man as large as he is can pull himself up that high! Maddox takes some more time and then leaps backwards for an enormous springboard crossbody, but as soon as he turns and flies, Luis counters with an aerial move of his own, by leaping into the air and catching him in mid air with a dropkick! Both men land on the mat, but Maddox lands harder than Luis!

Ted Cedar: “OH MY GOD! That athleticism is amazing! How was he able to vertically leap that high? He's 265 pounds!”

Joey Miles: “It's that power Ted. And a beautiful counter by Luis Claudio, that dropkick was almost equally sick!”

Luis takes his time to recover before he pulls the very groggy Maddox Paine off his hands and knees. He quickly takes a hold of both of his arms, underhooking them as he brings Maddox's head into a DDT position before driving him down to the mat with his signature Planta De Cara, which is otherwise known as a double underhook DDT! Maddox bounces up onto two knees and then drops forward onto the mat, completely out of it due to the hard impact that made the fans go “Oooooh!” - Claudio quickly hooks the leg. Jack drops to the mat for the count, Maddox is out of it! “1!” “2!” “3!” - No! Kickout at 2 and ½! “Ooooooohhh!” the fans respond once again, this time for the fact that Paine kicked out of this devastating-looking move. Because it's Luis Claudio's first match, no one really knows what his “finishing move” is and that had enough impact to be a frontrunner for it! Luis sits up on his ass and slaps the mat. He grabs Maddox by the hair again and begins to rake him up to his feet. “El Diablo” pushes him against one of the turnbuckles before jabbing him in the throat with both palms. Off the impact, he then grabs on to Maddox's arm and tries to whip him across the ring. Reluctantly, Maddox jumps up and whips Claudio into the corner instead. “The Titan” charges forward and then leaps up as high as he can for a stinger splash. Despite the insane amount of air he gets, it's wasted by the fact that Claudio darts to the side and dodges it, forcing Maddox to hit the turnbuckle face-first!

Joey Miles: “Fuck! I felt that from here!”

Ted Cedar: “Maddox goes face-first into that turnbuckle after that sick attempt of a stinger splash!”

The Titan's neck bounces back in a sick manner as Claudio turns him in the turnbuckle. He swings a big uppercut-like jab to the ribs, and another, and another, slapping him with each one as he forces Paine to double down a bit. Luis then hooks his head in a headlock position before tucking his arm under his head and raising him up with one powerful grunt, raising Maddox up in a suplex position before planting him on top of the turnbuckle. Luis climbs up and follows suit, standing on the middle turnbuckle as he is hit in the face with a hard right from Paine. Maddox tries to fight back, throwing hard right after hard right. Claudio headbutts him wildly, ringing himself a bit but keeping him balanced. He swings another right and another. Paine is groggy and Luis quickly wraps his arm around his head, attempting to throw him over with a superplex. He raises Maddox a bit up but Paine begins to fight back. The Titan lands with both feet standing on the top rope and he raises a big elbow before driving it straight down directly into the forehead of the large Puerto Rican. Luis gives way and falls straight down, landing near the center of the ring right on his back! Maddox takes a few seconds to catch his balance. Then he leaps forward in a dive of faith. He drives his leg directly over the chest of the big man as he nails him with a huge diving leg drop! The crowd pops for this despite disliking Maddox. The impact shakes the entire ring wildly as the enormous leg of Paine slams onto Claudio's body! Paine shakes it off quickly and lays on top of him, hooking the inside leg for a pin. “1!” “2!” “3!” - NO! This time Luis kicks out at the near fall!

Ted Cedar: “I can't believe the tenacity of both of these men! How do they continue to kick out? That move was insane!”

Joey Miles: “FUCK! I felt that vibration! That was insane! How did he kick out?”

Maddox slaps the mat angrily. He quickly re-mounts Luis and goes for a second pin. “1!” “2!” - Kickout! Maddox gives up on that and rolls up to one knee. He pulls Luis up slowly. He works him up to his feet and then scoops him onto his shoulder for a running powerslam. But as soon as he begins to run, Claudio drops down behind him and pulls his head around. He presses his head between his legs and he then starts to try and raise him for a powerbomb move. Maddox sees the determination in his eyes, so he knows he has to avoid this. He dead-weights it and Luis is unable to lift him. Paine drops down and pushes Luis back. Maddox unbends himself, gets up, and then kicks a big foot into the gut of Claudio, forcing him to bend down. He places his head between his legs and now tries to raise HIM for a powerbomb, but the fans have seen this one, and this is the Titan Bomb! But, like Maddox, Claudio doesn't allow him to do it. He wiggles down and lands on the ground. He pushes Maddox back this time as both men are face to face again. But only for a split second, as Maddox goes for a quick lariat, which is ducked by Claudio, who then runs to the ropes behind Maddox. Maddox runs to the ropes on the opposite side and both men sprint towards each other. This time Claudio goes for a lariat, but Maddox ducks it. Both men run to opposite ropes again, running full speed. They charge back towards each other and both have the same idea in mind. They leap into the air for a simultaneous running crossbody, taking each other out and colliding nastily!

Joey Miles: “Fuck! Another collision, this time in mid air! This match is great!”

Ted Cedar: “And these fans are loving every bit of it!”

“This is awesome!” clap clap clap clap clap. “This is awesome!” clap clap clap clap clap. “This is awesome!” The motivation from the chants of the fans help these two competitors get up to their feet slowly. They work their way up to their feet completely wrecked and begin an exchange of fists. Right, countered by right, countered by right, countered by right. Luis then sneakily throws a big right kick to the gut. He grabs a hold of Paines arm and tries to whip him, but Maddox wrings out of it before he pulls Claudio in. He tucks his head under Claudio's arm, raises him up, and drops him onto the mat with a hard Standing Spinebuster! Luis hits the mat hard and Paine is quick to take advantage! Maddox leans into the corner and gives a big roar to the sky. He is setting up for his Striking Spear! He looks out to the announcers table and eyes Dominik Diveraz outside the ring before chuckling. He turns his attention back to his opponent, but that ticked Dominik off. Diveraz yells at Gabriel Best and Martin Garcia to attack! Almost as if choreographed, Martin runs up onto the apron and starts arguing with the ref! At the same time, Gabriel prepares to interfere! Gabriel leaps up onto the apron, forcing Paine to become distracted. Gabriel is about to enter the ring, when suddenly, he feels his leg being tugged! He turns and finds Eric Badman holding his right leg back so he can't move!

Ted Cedar: “...and now Badman helping out Maddox by keeping Dominik's group from interfering!”

Joey Miles: “I guess he was right! He's looking out for Maddox, just like he said he would earlier!”

Maddox turns his attention back to Luis, who is on his feet! Claudio swings forward, as he attempts a lariat, Maddox ducks under it and runs to the ropes behind Luis. Claudio runs to the ropes on the opposite side and charges back towards Paine. Paine leaps into the air at a billion miles an hour and stabs his shoulder into Luis's ribs, completely flattening the crap out of him with a devastating Striking Spear! Luis hits the mat insanely hard and then Maddox charges towards Martin Garcia and shoves him off the side, so the ref stops arguing with him. Maddox turns back towards his opponent and then drops on top of Luis, scooping the leg for a final pin! The ref drops to the mat and starts the count. “1!” “2!” “3!”

DING! DING! DING!

Laura Watts: “The winner of this match as a result of a pinfall, Maddox Paine!”

“Animal” by Disturbed boom throughout the arena as Maddox jumps up to his feet. He notices that Badman is outside the ring yelling at Gabriel Best. Best looks ready to strike, so Eric quickly charges into the ring. Best looks up into the ring and sees the animal Maddox Paine looking right back at him. Paine stands near the center of the ring and challenges the much smaller Hispanic men to come into the ring. He yells at Dominik, he yells at Best, he yells at Garcia who is getting up outside the ring. Martin and Best circle the ring as Maddox yells at them to come in. He's challenging them all to come into the ring! But, they suddenly drop back down. Dominik calls them back and tells them to stop. The fans begin to boo as all three men and Samantha begin to walk out of the arena. Martin drags Luis out of the ring and helps him walk up the ramp. The entire Revolucion Hispana walk out of the arena as Maddox remains in the ring and the show goes to commercials!
