Subject: Re: MAIN EVENT | David Michaels and Maddox Paine vs. Dominik Diveraz and Luis Claudio Sun Mar 16, 2014 12:15 pm
The night has finally got to tonight's main event, which was set up earlier tonight by COO Smoke Xtreme. A tag team contest between Dominik Diveraz and Luis Claudio, taking on the highly unlikely pairing of David Michaels and Maddox Paine. The World knows that Michaels and Diveraz have not got along for the past couple of months, exchanging the XWA World Heavyweight Championship between them. But now a third man has been thrown into the mix in the form of Maddox Paine, who has been quickly showcasing his talents over a very short period of time.
Cedar: "And welcome back to Vendetta ladies and gentlemen, where we are set for tonight's main event, which is commercial free, and is a tag team match between four men...three of which in particular...that simply don't get along Joey."
Miles: "Well I know none of these guys like the other, but two of them have something in common..."
Cedar: "...and what would that be?"
Miles: "Dominik and Maddox both HATE Michaels, and that, tubby, can only be a good thing!"
DING...DING...DING!!!
As Jack Hammer calls for the bell, Luis Claudio is given a few last minutes instructions from his cousin-in-law and walks to the centre of the ring, ready for action. While the La Revolución Hispana is on the same page, the opposing team doesn't even appear to be reading the same book, as Maddox Paine and David Michaels are busy arguing about who is going to start this contest. Both men stand in their corner, yelling at the other not wanting the other mant to get the chance to outshine them. Michaels inform Maddox that he is still a rookie and should "follow his lead", while Maddox shoves Michaels pointing hand away and tells the "has been" to back off, before he rips his head off! Michaels, never one to take orders from anybody, decides the only course of action...is to shove Maddox in the chest. Naturally. The crowd give off that classic "OHHHH!" as Michaels points his finger again and tells the newer Maddox Paine to back off too! Maddox, being the cool customer he is, looks away and pops a slight grin. He then turns back round and holds his hands up, telling Michaels to "go ahead and start the match, champ". Michaels nods his head in agreement, as he turns to face Luis Claudio, who is becoming increasingly impatient by this whole scenario. Dominik, on the apron, is loving this as he would rather watch Maddox and Michaels tear each other apart than have this match. Michaels takes a step towards the larger Claudio, ready to talk some smack to him, but as he does Maddox suddenly shoves The Showstealer in the back and straight into Claudio, who knocks him clean down with a wicked Clothesline! Maddox smirks, as he climbs onto the apron pleased with his actions.
Cedar: "Well at least Maddox and Michaels are working together well..."
Miles: "HA! That was fucking beautiful, Cedar. One minute in and they are already wanting to kill each other. This is going to be an awesome match, I can tell!"
Michaels rebounds off the mat and scrambles back to his feet, wondering what happened, as Claudio turns and nails him with a second straight Clothesline. Dominik watches on in glee, as Michaels gets up a second time and stumbles into he path of Claudio. The monster of a man, with sheer power, whips Michaels across the ring and to the opposite ropes. Rebounding off them, Michaels shoots back across, nearly tripping over his own feet in the process. Luis then lifts the World Heavyweight Champion into the air with a Gorilla Press, turning to the hard camera, before slamming him down spine first into the mat. Maddox, on the apron, leans on the turnbuckle post and sarcastically claps his tag team partner, before he yells over at Dominik to shut up, who was yelling Hispanic words at Michaels. Luis picks Michaels up and powers him into the corner with his shoulder, almost Spearing him into the turnbuckles as he does. He then thrusts his right shoulder into Michaels' gut repeatedly, using his high energy levels early on. Michaels attempts to fight back by clubbing him in the upper spine, but it doesn't affect Claudio and he, instead, Elbows him directly in the face. Dominik's cousin-in-law then whips Michaels across the ring, again, and he hits the opposite set of turnbuckles with force. Michaels stumbles out, holding his lower back, before Luis cahrges across the ring and dlivers a vicious Running Boot! Michaels slams into the had like a rock, before Luis drops to his knee for the Lateral Press.
1... 2.... Kick out!
Luis gets straight back to his feet and drags Michaels up by the hair, pulling him over to his corner and tags in the former XWA World Heavyweight Champion in Dominik Diveraz. Dominik states some instructions, as me climbs from the apron and onto the top turnbuckle. Luis then Scoop Slams David parallel to the corner and is told to get out of the ring by Jack Hammer, while Dominik leaps off the top and drops right down on Michaels with a Frog Splash. He quickly hooks the far leg.
1... 2.... Kick out!
Cedar: "Michaels kicks out after the nice Frog Splash from Dominik. Michaels really hasn't recovered from his partner pushing him into the fire like that."
Miles: "Good. Clearly Maddox has a wise head on his shoulders and knows feeding this jackass to wolves is the right thing to do!"
Nova, on the outside, begins to hit the ring apron supporting her D-Volution stable mate knowing he needs to actually start fighting here. Dominik blows a kiss to his wife on the outside, as he gets back to his feet and suddenly races to the ropes, rebounding off and dropping a fast Elbow Drop to Michaels' chest. The Mystic Midget gets straight back up and darts to the ropes again, hitting another snap-like Elbow Drop. Michaels puts his arms up attempting to block it, before Dominik gets up a third time with speed and runs to the ropes. This time he jumps onto the second one and springboards backwards, nailing a perfect Leg Drop across Michaels' neck and chest. The fans in the arena boo for Dominik's dominance here, as he goes for the Lateral Press.
1... 2.... Shoulder up!
Dominik yells at the ref, informing him that was obviously a three count, before he gets back to his feet. Diveraz then runs to the ropes again and spingrboards off the second rope for a second time, but this time Michaels has clambered back up and reverses it with an Inverted Atomic Drop on landing! Dominik bounces up and down on the spot, as the World Champion follows it up with a few stiff right hands. Diveraz is then backed into a free corner, where Michaels whips him across. Dominik reverses it and Michaels shoots off the corner once again in this match. However, Michaels is tired of being on the receiving end of a beat down and does what he can to turn this around. As he nears the corner, Michaels grabs hold of the top ropes and pushes himself into the air, lifting right up and hand-standing in the corner! Dominik looks on, wondering what the hell he is doing, as Michaels just stays there for several seconds. Angered, Dominik races towards the corner, but as he goes to jump up and nail him, Michaels shoots backwards from the unique position and lands on his feet behind the former World Heavyweight Champion. Dominik turns around in fury and charges at Michaels a second time, only this time Michaels dodges it by bringing Dominik over onto his rear end with a Hip Toss. Dominik flops into the mat, before ungracefully stumbling back up to his feet. Michaels gets in a second Hip Toss before hitting the ropes. As Dominik recovers to his feet, Michaels jumps into the air and catches Dominik with his legs, swinging round in a Headscissors. He then, almost by magic, twists around and grabs his head planting it into the mat with a wicked Deja Vu DDT! Dominik oversells the move like crazy and flips up so much, he is completely sat up! That's before Michaels pushes him down and hooks the far leg, that is.
1.... 2..... Kick out!
David Michaels then gets back to his feet, pulling his hair to the back of his head, before reaching down and dragging Dominik back up. After kicking him in the gut, Michaels latches onto the back of his head with his left arm and lifts him into the air with a Vertical Suplex. He then lets Dominik land on his feet behind him, before snapping him straight down into the mat with a sweet Neckbreaker, one of Michaels' favourite moves. Nova applauds her man taking over the offence, as Michaels hooks the far leg.
1... 2... Kick out!
As Dominik attempts to sit up, Michaels catches him in a Side Headlock and squeezes it tight, making sure Dominik will find it hard to get out of the hold. Samantha on the outside shouts at her husband to get up, before then shouting at her cousin to do something! Dominik, however, does manage to fight back up to his feet and hits a few sitff Elbows into Michaels gut. Dominik loosens the grip and begins to shoot off to the ropes. Michaels then, using his cunning ways, grabs hold of Dominik's head and naturally goes to hold onto a chunk of hair...instead, all he gets is Dominik's bandana and he looks at it in dismay. Then, as he looks up, a returning Dominik launches into the air and catches the World Heavyweight Champion with a Spinning Wheel Kick, squarely in the face. Michaels lunges backwards, towards the opponent's corner, as Dominik goes to the same area and tags in Luis Claudio. Luis, with a sick smile on his face, climbs into the ring and goes straight for Michaels. He picks him up with brute force with both hands, by the throat, and goes to choke him in the air. However Michaels quickly uses the momentum and leaps frogs right over the monster, scrambling across the ring on his hands and knees and quickly tags in the larger Maddox Paine! The internet fans in the crowd all begin to cheer, as the smooth badass of a man slowly climbs through the ropes and clenches his fists. Luis is waiting in the middle of the ring, ready to meet this familiar individual that he faced a couple of weeks ago. The fans are ready to see these two match up once again, as Maddox slowly walks towards Luis. However, a certain favour is returned, as Michaels gets back up to his feet in the corner and bursts forwards. This time he is the one to shove Maddox right in the back and directly into the path of the wild Luis Claudio, knocking him right down with a Double Axe Handle to the skull.
Miles: "The hell?! Michaels is such a low life scumbag for doing that..."
Cedar: "He was merely returning the favour from earlier, Joey."
Miles: "Maddox slipped, OK? He was trying to hug Michaels..."
Cedar: "Why in the hell would he hug Michaels?!"
Miles: "Because Maddox is a team player, unlike Davey McBitchboy."
Cedar: "Oh shut up, Joey!"
On the outside, Eric Badman is throwing a fit towards Nova, who is clearly not pleased that Michaels just shot his partner straight into Luis like that. Nova, not mincing her words, tells him to go stick it and places her hands on her hips. Meanwhile, inside the ring, Maddox quickly rolls out of the ring to prevent Luis from further hurting him. Maddox stands outside the ring and grips his forehead before looking back at his partner in an angry fashion. Michaels sticks his hands out to the sides and grins as Paine mad-dogs him from the outside. Luis yells at him, trying to get his attention. Paine decides to stop wasting time when he sees Claudio taunting him inside the ring. Claudio beckons him to come inside. He challenges Maddox. “The Titan” slides into the ring carefully, not too worried that Luis will be sneaky, but being careful just in case. Maddox and Luis begin to get close, looking eye to eye. Paine had some nasty words for the other big man after Luis defeated him 2 weeks ago, and Luis hasn’t forgotten. Suddenly, the angry Titan shoves the Puerto Rican back roughly, trying to make a point. Luis angrily fires back with a big forearm to the face, which knocks Paine to the ground!
Cedar: "Maybe Paine should come up with a different strategy, all he did was anger Luis!"
Miles: "Luis is big and tough, but what’s Maddox to be afraid of? He’s also big and tough!"
Badman stands outside the ring, screaming at Maddox to try and guide him. Paine gets up to his feet quickly off the forearm shot and walks into a big right hand from Luis Claudio. Luis hits him with another, and another, forcing Paine to lay against the turnbuckle. Luis quickly charges at him from the middle of the ring, but it may have been premature. Maddox raises a boot to try and clock Luis in the face, but Claudio grabs a hold of the elevated boot to block it. Suddenly, Paine kicks up his other leg, trying to get Luis to hold onto both of them. In a single jerk of strength, Paine shoves Luis back roughly, shaking the mat as Claudio goes flying backwards and lands on his back! Claudio holds himself in pain as Maddox takes those few seconds to recover. Luis works his way up to his feet, but Maddox is on the attack. Maddox quickly rakes Luis up off the ground with his arm before driving him straight down onto his knee for a Pendulum Backbreaker. However, Paine isn’t done there. He then brings himself back up to his feet while holding on to Claudio in the same position before he raises him up and slams him down for a Sidewalk Slam! Some of the more smarky fans begin to clap for the feat of strength as Paine instantly hooks the far leg for a pin.
“1!”
“2!”
Kickout!
Maddox knew that wouldn't do it, but he wasn't too concerned with winning it there. Maddox pulls Luis up off the ground and onto his feet before quickly shoving him into the ropes. He launches him across the ring with a whip, not expecting Luis to spring back to life by knocking him down with a devastating Shoulder Block! The big man flies backwards and lands on his back roughly. But Paine rolls to the side and looks upward and Luis, who quickly begins to shout at him. Maddox rolls up to his feet angrily and both men are now ready to fight, after that brief warm-up! Maddox swings a big right hand, Luis swings one of his. This isn’t a graceful back and forth, this is a chaotic brawl with both men swinging wildly at the same time. Rights, lefts, it doesn’t matter. Both men are just throwing punches. Finally, it takes a short break as Paine quickly throws a big back knee to the ribs of Luis Claudio. Luis doubles down as Maddox forces him into the corner. Maddox throws a big right hand, stomping for effect, and another, and another, and a fourth. But by the time he hits four, Luis flies out of the corner with his own right hand. Maddox swings again, but Luis fires back again.
Cedar: "…and both of these men with hard rights and lefts, they will not give up!"
Miles: "Swear, it feels like I’m at a bar in fucking Ireland with this brawling!"
Luis begins to get the upper hand as he starts firing quick rights back to back. He hits one, two, three, four, forcing Paine near the center of the ring. Claudio bounces back into the ropes to the side of Maddox, charges back towards him, but Maddox quickly ducks down, catches the equally big man on his shoulders, raises him up, and then instantly slams him down straight backwards, driving him into the mat with a huge Samoan Drop! The ‘smarks’ begin to clap again, as Maddox gets to his feet. Maddox roars and looks at David Michaels outside. He yells, “I DON’T NEED YOUR HELP! YOU’RE WORTHLESS!” but while he’s busy arguing with his partner, his opponent quickly gets to his feet behind him. Luis ignores the option of tagging his partner in as he instead decides to rest for a bit. Maddox walks over to him and pushes him against the ropes before swinging a big right fist to the jaw. Off the stun, he bounces the big Puerto Rican to the other side. Maddox waits for him in the middle of the ring and as Luis comes back, Paine swings a big lariat, but it is ducked by Claudio. Claudio waits for Paine to turn around, and as soon as he does, he kicks him in the gut before planting Maddox’s head between his own legs, setting him up for that Potencia Bomba!
Cedar: "OOH! Luis is going for that devastating Powerbomb that he used to take Maddox out 2 weeks ago!"
Miles: "It’s ‘Potencia Bomba’ you uncultured swine!"
Maddox fights out of it and instantly raises Luis high above his head before slamming him over with a big Back Body Drop! Luis rolls up onto his feet and Maddox goes for a lariat again, but it is once again ducked by Luis. Maddox makes the mistake of taking too long to turn around, and Luis quickly – almost in the form of a chain – grabs Maddox by the waist in a reverse waist lock before flinging him upwards as hard as he can, forcing him to land in a strange position behind him with a sick German Suplex! Luis makes sure to roll off to the side so he doesn’t get stuck in the wreck. He quickly hooks the inner leg to try and end this thing.
“1!”
“2!”
Kickout!
Luis slams the mat as Paine kicks out at a fairly early “2!” – Luis doesn’t give up his onslaught of the big man as he begins to stomp away at Maddox on the ground. Luis hits a few more stomps for good measure and then raises Paine up before pushing him against the ropes. He whips him across the ring and Paine charges back towards him. This time it’s The Titan that ducks a lariat from the attacker as he then bounces on the ropes behind him. Luis turns around and gets hit in the face with a huge flying knee lift! Maddox falls to one knee off the impact and Luis rolls onto one knee to try and not get overwhelmed with a fairly basic move. Maddox tries to take advantage, but Luis quickly uses up a lot of his strength to quickly tag in his cousin-in-law Dominik Diveraz, who is not so happy about being tagged!
Cedar: "And now it’s the former world champion’s turn!"
Miles: "And he does not look happy. Luis should’ve made sure that big motherfucker was down before he decided to bail!"
Dominik looks down at his hands in astonishment, wondering why Luis just tagged him in. The Jack Hammer slaps his own hands together, indicating that a tag was indeed made, but Dominik is having none of it. He argues with him, remaining on the apron, while his cousin-in-law rolls out of the ring. Maddox isn't in the mood for wasting time and stomps over to the much smaller Dominik, grabbing him around the scruff of his neck and tossing him over the top rope and spine first into the ring! Dominik sits up and clutches his back, yelling out in pain in an exaggerated fashion. Maddox reaches down and forces the former Champion up, whipping him over to the ropes. Dominik rebounds back and leaps into the air, attempting to leap frog the taller Maddox. Unfortunately for him, it doesn't work and Maddox catches him in mid air, slamming him down with brute force in the form of a Powerslam! As Dominik lays on the mat beginning to feel as though he may need back surgery after this, Maddox leaps back up to his feet in one swift motion and screams out at the top of his lungs, to the delight of a chunk of the fans. Michaels, unimpressed on the apron, rolls his eyes as he reaches out for a tag he isn't about to receive.
Cedar: "Maddox looks to be all fired up here tonight! I think a Spear might be coming, Joey!"
Miles: "See, all Luis had to do was keep this maniac down and now he's about to kill precious Dominik!"
Cedar: "Oh, so now you don't like Maddox?!"
Miles: "Not when he's about to Spear our Mexican Champion all the way back to his bloody homeland, no!"
Maddox thumps the mat with adrenaline running through his veins, as he begins to wander back towards his corner, with only Dominik in his sights. The crowd are starting to get behind this exciting kid...but a certain tag team partner isn't as loving as the crowd are, for as Paine backs towards his corner, David Michaels stands on the bottom rope, leans over and tags him on the shoulder. Maddox turns around with fury written all over his face! Nova begins to point and laugh at Badman on the outside, who isn't liking this at all, while Michaels begins to climb up onto the top turnbuckle. Michaels motions with his right hand for Maddox to move, so he can nail Dominik...but The Titan isn't budging. Michaels stands up on the turnbuckle anyway and shrugs his shoulders, leaping off regardless! Maddox moves out of the way at the last second, allowing The Showstealer to fly past him and hit a Flying Cross Body Splash directly to Dominik! The fans cheers, as Michaels doesn't like being out done by anybody! Michaels hooks the far leg.
1.... 2.......
Maddox actually pulls Michaels off the cover! Nova is furious on the outside, not sure whether to take out her anger on Samantha or Badman! Michaels looks up and sees Maddox laying down the verbal law to him, before he gets back to his feet and replies with “THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!”. Maddox then yells back “DON'T PLAY MIND GAMES ME WITH ME!”. Michaels looks away and grins, almost in a sarcastic fashion, before turning back to Maddox and yelling “SUCK IT!” and shoves him in the chest just like earlier! Maddox is knocked back several feet, but quickly lunges back in in temper, returning the favour to Michaels shoving him back several feet across the ring! Michaels pulls his hair back behind his head and he's had enough of this. He turns around and is about to lunge at Maddox...when Luis Claudio seemingly appears from out of nowhere and wipes out Maddox with authority, completely blind siding him! Maddox tumbles sideways through the ropes and slams into the hard floor. Michaels then comically tilts his head ans says “Well there's that...” before he turns around and is clocked in the skull by Dominik Diveraz with a Moonsault Dropkick!
Cedar: "Michaels and Maddox appear to be more content on annoying the other, rather than concentrating on winning the actual match!"
Miles: "This is all Michael's fault!"
David is thrusted backwards in the corner, as Dominik gets to his feet and yells instructions to Luis. Both men then charge to the ropes and bounce off of them simultaneously and sprint across the ring. Both men then leap through the ropes and connect with wonderful Dual Suicide Dives directly into Maddox Paine! Maddox thumps the barricade back first and all three men tumble to the floor, while the fan begin to chant "THIS IS AWESOME!" at the top of their lungs. Jack Hammer leans over the ropes and is begging the three men get back into the ring, as he is slowly beginning to lose control of this match. Samantha and Badman, on the outside, both walk over towards the wreckage both calling for their guy to get up, while Nova remains on the opposite side pleased all round! Meanwhile, back in the ring, David Michaels has been given some precious time to recover from that Dropkick, pulling himself back up via the ropes. The World Heavyweight Champion looks around, figuring out what happened, before he realises that Maddox got wiped out by the Mexicans! He adjusts the top of his ring tights, before thinking of his next move. Maddox, Dominik and Luis all begin to get back up to their feet, with Maddox in between the other two. The Titan then groggily looks into the ring and spots his tag team partner sprinting across it. Michaels rebounds off the ropes and charges across, leaping high into the air arms first about a foot before the ropes! The Showstealer then wows the audience in Pittsburgh, as he flies over the top rope with a No Handed Suicide Dive and comes crashing down on top of Maddox Paine, also wiping out Dominik and Luis in the process! The crowd goes wild, as Michaels clearly made aim for his own tag team partner there! All four men are wiped out on the floor, with Maddox once again crashing into the barricade, Dominik and Luis collapsing either side and Michaels slamming side first into the floor.
Cedar: "Michaels taking everybody out, including his partner!"
Miles: "Including his partner?! He obviously ONLY went for his partner! The fuck is wrong with this clown?!"
The crowd begin to clap their hands in rhythm, waiting for pretty much anyone to just get to their feet, while referee Jack Hammer stands on the ring apron not entirely sure what to do here, as he doesn't want to count all four men out! He lets the chaos continue and Luis, who got the least of the Suicide Dive, is the first one to get back up to his feet. Michaels isn't too far behind and Claudio grabs him by the hair, nailing him face first into the ring apron. The ref belittles Luis, who just ignores him entirely, and tosses Michaels over into the corner section off the security barricade. Luis grunts, as he's tired of not hurting someone and charges forwards, looking to impale Michaels into the barricade permanently. However David dodges out of the way at the very last second and Luis slams shoulder first into the hard barricade! Michaels stumbles to the floor and crawls in front of the announce table, while Dominik Diveraz has since managed to roll back into the ring, the delight of Jack Hammer. Michaels begins to use the announce table to get back to his feet, while the crowd suddenly all leap to theirs. Why? Because The Titan, Maddox Paine, has got back to his feet and has since begun sprinting towards Luis Claudio, who is just around. As he does, Maddox smashes him straight into the gut and sends both men straight through the barricade with a devastating Spear! The solid security walling explodes apart and both men land right in the middle of the crowd, nailing into the concrete. A giant "HOLY SHIT!" chant circulates around the arena in appreciation, as Eric Badman goes over to the scene and appluads the move, while Samantha isn't too far away ready to pull her hair out in worry!
Cedar: "OH MY GOD! SPEAR! SPEAR! SPEAR! RIGHT THROUGH THE DAMN BARRICADE!"
Miles: "Holy crap, fatman! That was insane!"
Both Dominik and Michaels look on from their respective positions, somewhat astonished. Neither man looks pleased, as Dominik just seen his larger partner get taken out in one, swift swoop and Michaels may have just realised he needs to stop taking this Maddox guy lightly! Their attentions soon turn to one another though, as both men remember they are in a bitter rivalry with the person now glaring at them. Dominik tugs at the knee area on his jeans, motioning for Michaels to bring it. Michaels prepares himself, also, and adjusts his tights...before darting forwards and sliding into the ring. Instantly Dominik is on the attack, holding onto the top rope and stomping away at the floored Michaels. He then quickly helps him back up and pushes him off the ropes. Michaels reverse it and shoots Diveraz off. Rebounding back, Dominik ducks under a wild Clothesline attempt, hitting the ropes again. Michaels then turns around and goes for a Back Elbow, but Dominik also manages to avoid that and shoots off to the ropes a third time. This time, Dominik gains the advantage and leaps into the air, catches Michaels around the head with his feet and sends him flying to the ropes with a Flying Headscissors! Michaels lands chest first on the second rope and Dominik T's him up, hitting the ropes again and running across the ring. As he nears the World Heavyweight Champion, Dominik reaches out and grabs the top and middle ropes, using them to pull his body through and twist his legs around in one fluid motion, looking for the 619. Michaels, though, manages to pulls himself down to the mat before Dominik is able to connect. The Mystic Midget swings round back into the ring, disorrientated. As he does, Michaels gets back to his feet and leaps into the air, pulling his right leg over his neck and planting Dominik face first into the mat with his signature Fameasser! Michaels hooks the far leg the best he can.
1...... 2....... Shoulder up!
Michaels sits up and shakes his head, adjusting his knee pad as he does, knowing that Dominik is one tough cookie. The World Champion pulls himself back up and decides to go aerial, walking over to the ropes and onto the apron, before climbing up onto the top turnbuckle. Michaels slowly balances himself on the top, when suddenly Dominik is somehow back on his feet and charges to the corner. He leaps up onto the top ropes and instantly jumps off them, catching Michaels around the head and shooting him three quarters the way across the ring with a Top Rope Hurricanrana! The crowd goes wild for the top rope insanity, even their the crowd favourite of the match, David Michaels, just got slammed into another zip code! Dominik managed to break his fall on landing and scrambles across the ring on all fours, quickly hooking both of Michaels' legs.
1........... 2............. Shoulder up!
Dominik is now the one to sit up and be frustrated at not getting the pin!
Cedar: "A truly insane Hurricanrana from Dominik there! Michaels just got some serious unwanted air time on that one."
Miles: "Beautiful. This little Mexican ball of excitement is the taco that just never ends!"
Dominik Diveraz gets back to his feet and begins to stalk the current World Heavyweight Champion. He leans over and yells at him to get back to his feet. David Michaels is looking very much the worse for ware here, as Nova is thumping the ring apron on the outside, trying to warn David of what's waiting behind him. He doesn't hear it and stumbles back up to his feet, moving round and walking into the centre of the ring. Dominik waits impatiently for his opening and decides it's there. He runs forwards and jumps into the air in front of Michaels, holding onto his shoulder and placing his knees into his chest. He leans back in the process and goes for his finisher, the Matanza (Front Lungblower aka Codebreaker). However, as the camera flashes shoot off, Michaels dead weights the move and instead darts forwards with Dominik, tossing him back first into the top turnbuckle. Michaels then stumbles back, almost losing his balance, as Dominik rebounds out of the corner and with that momentum in full flow, David Michaels suddenly shoots his poetic-like right foot into the air connects with the Shattered Teeth Symphony! The crowd roars into cheers, as Dominik tastes this move once again and crumbles to the mat just off the centre of the ring. The force sends Michaels stumbling backwards several feet, loosing his balance. He then turns around and gathers himself before WHAM! Literally, out of nowhere, Maddox Paine Spears the holy HELL out of the World Heavyweight Champion! The pair go flying through the air well over five feet before they crash into the mat, Michaels knocked the hell out! The crowd can't believe it, though it was certainly coming throughout the whole match!
Cedar: "What on Earth?! That's is own partner for crying out loud! Michaels just had the match won for them!"
Miles: "YES! YES YES OH MY FUCKING GOD YES! MADDOX PAINE FOR THE WIN PEOPLE!"
The young sensation leaps back to his feet and screams at the top of his lungs with that deep pitched voice, before flicking his hair back and dragging Michaels back up with his. He then places his head in between his legs and powers him up in a seated position on his shoulders, before turning around and nailing with a huge Titan Bomb directly on top of Dominik! Maddox rolls out from his seated position and gets back up, the ref look on in shock. Maddox then stands over the pair who have been fighting for the World Heavyweight Title for the past couple of months, before turning to the ref and simply telling him to “COUNT!”. Jack Hammer does as he is told and drops to all fours, making the count, for David Michaels is unconsciously laying over an unconscious Dominik!
1...... 2......... 3!!!!!!!!!
DING...DING...DING!!!
Watts: "Here are your winners...DAVIDDDDD MICHAELSSSSSSS...and MADDOXXXX PAINEEEEEE!!!!"
Cedar: "My GOD did Maddox Paine just make a point in this match! He just wiped out his own partner and then dumped him on top of Dominik to get the victory!"
Miles: "This is is a fucking beast, Cedar. I only wish he didn't hate on my burrito budy so much..."
Maddox stands over the two men, as David Michael's theme almost ironically begins to play, as he technically got the fall...despite probably not even knowing it yet. Nova holds her head in worry, as she knew all along Michaels should have never played goes with this freak of nature, while Samantha is still taking care of her cousin on the outside. Eric Badman then climbs into the ring, with a distinct grin on his face. Jack Hammer cautiously goes to raise the hand of Maddox, before he is shoved aside by Badman and he raises Maddox's arm instead. Maddox stares a hole through both men beneath him, before he closes his eyes and slowly raises his head to the roof - the intensity running through this individual is unreal and Badman knows it!
Cedar: "If anyone thinks this man isn't ready for Chain Reaction, I think they are sadly mistaken. This man has been DOMINANT all damn night!"
Miles: "Michaels' title is in serious jeopardy, Cedar. This is a great time to be a wrestling fan!"
Michaels theme songs slowly fades away, as Maddox looks ready to inflict more punishment. However, Eric Badman decides that Maddox has sent enough of a message and slowly manages to back him off. Maddox is convinced to leave the ring, which he eventually does, dropping to the floor and slowly walking backwards up the entrance ramp. His theme music begins to play in the background.
While plenty of the fans are booing Maddox due to their love for Michaels, plenty are still cheering this clearly talented individual who is a serious threat to Michaels' XWA World Heavyweight Title. Maddox slowly walks back up the ramp, with Badman looking at him with serious glee written across his face. However, back in the ring, Michaels has begun to slowy get back up to his feet using the ropes, as has Dominik, and after a minute of trying not to fall over, the pair begin to argue in the centre of the ring claiming they are going to walk out of Chain Reaction with the Championship. Maddox looks on, seriously annoyed the pair are ignoring him. He then stomps back down the ramp and pushes Badman away, who attempts to hold him back. Maddox slides into the ring and shoves Dominik into Michaels, before starting to yell at them both about how HE is walking out of Chain Reaction with the title! Dominik, holding his hurting jaw, gets right in MAddox's face...albeit standing on his tippy toes...and tells him he is nothing compared to him and that the rookie should back the hell up. Michaels, meanwhile, holding his stomach region is handed his XWA World Heavyweight Championship from Nova through the ropes and shoves Dominik out of the way, standing in between the pair and holding the title up, stating that HE is the Champion and that HE is still going to be the champ after the Pay Per View. The hard camera picks up all three men, as they end the show with the image of Chain Reaction's main event arguing about who is leaving that event with the most important championship in wrestling today - the XWA World Heavyweight Championship!

Subject: Re: MAIN EVENT | David Michaels and Maddox Paine vs. Dominik Diveraz and Luis Claudio Sun Mar 16, 2014 3:24 pm
The decision of who starts off for La Revolución Hispana is an easy one as Dominik and Luis quickly agree to let the bigger man take charge. On the other side of the ring, however, things aren't quite as calm. Eric Badman does all the talking for Maddox as he argues with David over who should start things off for their corner. As David already appears sick of Eric's shit, he gets ready to sock the manager of Maddox in the mouth, but Paine steps up to Michaels. Badman tries to keep the peace between the two and eventually he's able to talk David into waiting on the apron for the beginning of the match. As David heads onto the apron, Eric exits the ring to watch from ringside, across from Samantha Valentina Claudio on the other side, as it looks to be the two big men starting things off in almost a rematch from their epic battle a few weeks ago. The duo of powerful men circle one another before launching in for the Collar-and-Elbow Tie-Up. There's a battle of strength between the two, but it seems Maddox is just barely on the winning side of it as he slowly pushes his foe back into an unoccupied corner of the ring, pressing him against the top turnbuckle as the official, Ryu Sanu, begins a count to five. Not wanting to get disqualified, Maddox lets go of his opponent and takes a few steps back, raising his hands to make sure Ryu knows he's not breaking the rules. Quickly following this, he drills Luis in the mid-section with a kick before dragging him out towards the ropes where he proceeds to Irish Whip "El Diablo". Luis rebounds off of the ropes and ducks under an incoming Big Boot attempt from the behemoth of a man. As he pops up behind Maddox, he quickly wraps his arms around the slightly bigger man's body in a Waist Lock before pulling him backwards with a German Suplex that sends Maddox crashing on the back of his head and neck in a very painful way. The audience looks on, not sure who to cheer and boo for between these two men.
Ted Cedar "Luis takes the early advantage for La Revolución Hispana. There looked to be some miscommunication between David and Maddox's manager Eric at the beginning of the match over who should start things off, but Michaels decided to keep his cool and let Maddox start."
Joey Miles "As he should, Theodore. You ever heard the phrase 'put your best foot forward'? Fuck saving the best for last. If you want to win, you start off strong and end just as strong. Although, this is pretty much a handicap match. You got two ridiculously talented dudes on one side and then you got the awesome Maddox Paine on the other side teaming with the paper Champion David Michaels. It's unfair!"
Ted Cedar "I'm not sure I'd entirely agree with you there, partner. David Michaels can hold his own very well. I mean, whether or not he's a 'paper Champion' in your eyes, he's still the World Heavyweight Champion and he's that for a reason."
Joey Miles "Yeah, because that skinhead cunt interfered in his match against the rightful Champion, Dominik."
Luis quickly gets back to his feet and he stares at the downed man, ready to strike whenever he gets back up. Once that opportunity presents itself, Luis runs to the ropes, ricocheting off of them and returning to drill Maddox in the head with a vicious European Uppercut that could be the cause of giraffes' large necks. As Paine hits the canvas with a thud, Luis heads over to his team's corner and makes the tag to Dominik. As Diveraz enters the ring, the two men surround Maddox, again waiting for him to get up. Once the timing is right, they run in opposing directions, hitting the opposite ropes at the same time and rebounding back. Dominik leaps into the air, drilling Maddox in the abdomen with a powerful Busaiku Knee Kick as Luis simultaneously pounds the powerful man in the back of the head with a Big Boot! The impact of this combination move causes Maddox to flip onto his back. As Luis exits onto his team's corner of the ring, Dominik quickly goes for the cover. One! Two! Kickout just after two! After the kickout, Dominik gets on his knees and thinks of what to do next before promptly coming up with a decision. He sits Maddox up and holds onto his chin with one hand whilst pounding away at his face with his other hand. Dominik may not be the biggest guy in XWA. In fact, he's the smallest. However, rapid-fire punches to the face are going to hurt no matter how big you are, if they're from someone as feisty as the former World Heavyweight Champion. Once he's finished his punching onslaught, Dominik makes it back to his feet and shouts out,"Para Mexico!"The Pittsburgh crowd jeers heavily, except for the few Mexican fans in the audience whom actually applaud Dominik. Not caring about the boos from the crowd, in fact smiling at it, Dominik heads to an unoccupied corner of the ring and begins ascending the turnbuckle. As he does that, Maddox slowly starts to get back to his feet. Once reaching the peak of the turnbuckles, Dominik stands erect atop it and looks down at the now-standing Maddox. He leaps into the air, looking for a diving Cross Body, but Maddox showcases his strength by catching his opponent and tossing him over-head with a Fallaway Slam! Maddox looks over at David, extending his hand out for the tag as the audience bursts into cheers. However, those cheers soon dissolve into boos as Maddox pulls his hand away before David can tag in. "The Heartbreak Kid" looks on, annoyed, as Maddox grins before waving his finger at his partner, as if to say "not yet".
Ted Cedar "Well, David wants the tag but Maddox doesn't want to give it to him. That could be a mistake by the XWA rookie. You want to stay fresh as much as possible in a tag team match."
Joey Miles "Fuck that. Maddox is winning right now. Why tag in David Fuckeals who would probably do something stupid and cost him the win? Maddox's best bet is to try to take on Dominik and Luis by himself."
Maddox turns his attention back to Dominik, whom he pulls back to his feet only to lift him onto his shoulder and send him crashing back down onto the canvas spine-first with a Scoop Slam. Paine goes for the cover. One! Tw—But Dominik gets out at one and a half. The big man gets back to his feet and waits for his opponent to start getting up. Once Diveraz has begun reaching a perpendicular base, Maddox runs to the ropes, rebounding off of them and returning with a huge Triple H-like Knee Lift! Again, "The Titan" goes for a pin attempt. One! Two! Kickout at two! Maddox, not fretting due to the kick out, pulls his opponent back to his feet and tosses him into an unoccupied corner of the ring. He begins to lay into the small man with Shoulder Thrust after Shoulder Thrust while Ryu yells for him to let Diveraz out of the corner. Eventually, Maddox does as the official requests, although not because Ryu was requesting it. Rather, he does it so he can back up to the opposing side of the ring and ready himself for a big attack. With Eric Badman cheering him on from outside of the ring and Samantha Valentina Claudio yelling for Diveraz to get out of the way, Maddox rushes forward, looking to land a Running Shoulder Block, but Dominik has the wherewithal to get out of the way just in time! Maddox crashes shoulder-first into the steel post as Dominik drops to the canvas immediately after moving, due to still feeling some serious pain in his mid-section. Whilst Paine is pulling himself out of the corner, Dominik quickly crawls towards his team's corner and makes the tag to Luis. Luis enters the ring and immediately targets Maddox, rushing full speed ahead at him and practically taking his head off with a huge Clothesline, reminiscent of John Bradshaw Layfield! The audience lets out a mixed reaction as Luis pulls Maddox into the center of the ring and goes for the cover. One! Two! Thr—Kickout at two and a half!
Ted Cedar "Luis damn near took Maddox's head off with that Clothesline! Paine was able to kick out, though."
Joey Miles "That Clothesline was fucking beautiful, man."
Luis raises his adversary back to his feet before striking away at him with punches to the mid-section. After four calculated shots to the ribs, Luis lands one to the face of Maddox, before kicking him in the gut, bending him over. He hooks his opponent's arms, setting up for his signature Double Underhook DDT known as the Planta de la Cara! Falling backwards, and pulling Maddox with him, Luis successfully lands the move, planting his opponent down viciously head-first onto the canvas. Claudio goes for the cover, but David has seen enough as he enters the ring and stomps on the back of Luis' head to break up the pin. Before Michaels even has a chance to return to his apron, Diveraz has entered the ring and a brawl breaks out between the World Heavyweight Champion and the self-proclaimed Mexico Champion! The audience bursts into cheers as the referee is unable to stop the brawl. A sharp uppercut from the Englishman sends his Mexican counterpart dropping to the canvas, but he turns around just in time to receive a massive Big Boot from Luis that sends him through the ropes and toppling to the outside. Maddox tries to surprise his opponent by running at him from behind, but Claudio sees it coming and quickly ducks down, Back Body Dropping Maddox out of the ring and straight onto David! With both opponents now outside the ring, Dominik and Luis look at each other with grins before nodding their heads. They look outside of the ring, waiting for both men to get up. Once the timing is opportune, they rush in the opposite direction of their opponents, rebounding off of the ropes to gain speed. They then launch themselves out of the ring, Dominik going through the ropes whilst stiffening his body and putting his arms to his side for his No-Handed Suicide Dive dubbed the Zambullida Mortal and Luis front flipping over the top rope for a Somersault Suicide Dive! As Dominik crashes into David, Luis collides with Maddox and the audience lets out another mixed reaction, some actually cheering for the athleticism shown by La Revolución Hispana, but most booing as David got taken down.
Ted Cedar "Beautiful athleticism shown by Dominik and Luis right there! They're absolutely dominating this match so far. I can't help but feel like that's because David and Maddox aren't on the same page."
Joey Miles "Of course they're not. Maddox is probably still pissed he has to team with that faggot."
Luis and Dominik are back to their feet relatively quickly for having taken a big dive as they just did. Dominik heads back over to his corner of the ring as Claudio drags Maddox into the ring, following in after him and going for the cover. One! Two! Th—Kickout! Luis immediately gets back to his feet, following the kickout, and pulls Maddox up with him. He drags the Samoan superstar over to La Revolución Hispana's corner of the ring and tags Dominik. Luis says something inaudible to Dominik and the short man simply nods his head, as Claudio tosses Maddox onto the apron. He grabs him by the head and pulls him over the top rope, hanging him by his feet on that very top rope whilst holding his body up by the head, almost in a Rope-Hung DDT manner, but from the top rope. Meanwhile, Dominik clutches the top rope from the adjacent side of the apron. He leaps into the air, springboarding off of the rope and doing a front flip before crashing down back-to-back on the elevated Maddox! The unique double team maneuver by Dominik and Luis garners another mixed reaction from the fans as Claudio heads back onto the apron and Dominik drags Maddox into the center of the ring, away from the ropes, before rolling him onto his back and going for the cover. One! Two Thr—But it's another kickout at two and a half! After calling the referee a pendejo, Dominik lands a few punches to his opponent's face, before trying to pull him back to a perpendicular base. However, Maddox catches the small man off guard as he quickly wraps his arms around him, lifts him into the air and slams him spine-first onto the canvas with an out-of-the-blue Spinebuster that shakes the entire ring! The crowd surprisingly cheers the maneuver by Maddox, if only because it opens up the opportunity for him to tag in David Michaels. Well, that and it's always nice to see Dominik Diveraz get hurt. Maddox slowly makes it back to his feet, trying to shake off the cobwebs of this match so far. He looks over at David Michaels, as the audience bursts into cheers, ready for the World Heavyweight Champion to finally be tagged into the match! Maddox lets out a grin, however, and shakes his head, turning his back to David once more as the audience's cheers quickly turn to boos.
Ted Cedar "Come on, Maddox, make the tag already! David wants in!"
Joey Miles "Who gives a horse's left ass cheek what David wants? He has the World Heavyweight Championship. Isn't that enough for the greedy cunt?"
Maddox lets out a mighty road, signaling for the end of this match before David can even get in to do some damage. He measures up Dominik, whom gradually gets back to his feet. Once Diveraz is standing, he stumbles around into a kick to the gut from Maddox, whom then places his head between his legs, setting up for his Sitout Powerbomb, the Titan Bomb! Little does Maddox know, Luis is entering the ring as he lifts Dominik into the air. Claudio spins into a Rolling Back Chop, drilling Maddox in the back of the head with his Carrera de la Muerte strike! Maddox immediately drops to the canvas, letting go of Dominik as he does so. The audience's boos are quick to turn into cheers, however, as Luis is surprised by a Bitter Sweet Symphony Superkick from David Michaels! The kick knocks Luis straight out of the ring, as David goes to check on his partner. Not because he's particularly worried about Maddox's well-being, but because he's teaming with him. Dominik attacks David from behind and lays into him with punches and forearms to the face and back. David shoves Diveraz away for a brief moment, which is long enough for him to regain his composure and take the fight to "The Mystic Midget", the two men now duking it out. Meanwhile, Maddox begins getting back to his feet. He sets his sights on Dominik, as Michaels lands a particularly stiff punch to Diveraz's face that spins him around. Paine rushes at the small Mexican man, attempting to drill him with the Charging Spear, but Dominik moves out of the way just in the nick of time and Paine accidentally hits David! Shocked, but not entirely sorry, Maddox quickly tries to turn back around to Dominik but he turns right into the Front Lungblower known as the Matanza; Dominik's finishing move! Diveraz goes for the cover. One! Two! Three!
DING! DING! DING!
Ted Cedar "La Revolución Hispana win!"
Joey Miles "But more importantly, David got Speared! Beautiful."
As Daddy Yankee's "Rompe" hits the PA System, Dominik quickly slides out of the ring. Him and Samantha check on Luis, to make sure he's alright. Once confirming this, they book it up the ramp and out of the arena, not even taking the time to celebrate.
Laura Watts "Here are your winners, by pinfall, La Revolución Hispana!"
By the time the three members of La Revolución Hispana are gone, David has begun getting back to his feet, as has Maddox. Once they're up, Michaels begins arguing with Paine over what just happened, as "Rompe" begins to die down. Eric Badman enters the ring to try to keep the peace, but all he does is take a Superkick directly to the chin from David! The audience bursts into cheers for Eric getting laid out, but Maddox charges into David and the two begin brawling in the center of the ring! They exchange quick, yet effective shots, as the fans love every moment of it.
Ted Cedar "David Michaels and Maddox Paine have absolutely exploded right now!"
Joey Miles "Kick his country ass, Maddox!"
Officials and other backstage staff rush to the ring to separate the two men, having a very hard time doing so.
Ted Cedar "Ladies and gentlemen, is this a sign of the mayhem that's to come at Chain Reaction?! We'll see you then in two weeks! Goodnight!"
With Maddox and David still trying to pry the officials and backstage staff off of themselves, the show cuts away to the next program.
[Not my best effort by a long shot. I mean, it might be decent if it was a mid-card match, but definitely not main event caliber. Sorry for that, guys. It seems you two put a good effort into your match. I'm obviously going to lose, but eh, I showed at least. I'll definitely try to put in a much better effort at Chain Reaction.]
