It's dark. A single flickering light bulb sways back and forth. Another light emanates from a fireplace in front of the chair, although it's only faint. The atmosphere is cold as we view the back of a chair, slightly from the left, unknown whether or not someone is seated in it. A very familiar voice is heard.
|MIRAGE| "Do you truly wish to join my religion? It would be wise of you to do so. Illusionists see one goal and one goal only, to bring out the truth of this world. You will dedicate your life to revealing this truth. We know that there's no such thing as good in existence. Everyone, deep down, is nothing but an animal, waiting to be fed. Our food of choice is chaos. It is our duty to bring this to light. If you join now, there's no getting out. Once again, do you truly wish to become a member of the Church of Illusionism?"
|woman'sVOICE| "I do, my lord."
|MIRAGE| "And so it shall be. Please, lean forward and hold up your hair."
Someone, presumably the girl Mirage is speaking to, can be seen leaning forward in the chair, holding her hair away from her neck as Mirage requested. "The Illusionist" steps into the scene, holding something in his hand. He lifts it up to the light, allowing it to be seen. It's a branding iron. He holds it back down whilst turning his attention to the wall in front of them. The masked man holds the iron out, letting the front of it touch the fire to get it hot. He waits patiently for the fire to warm up the branding iron, before pulling it back out, the head now being bright red. He walks behind the chair.
|MIRAGE| "This will only hurt a little. Are you ready?"
|woman'sVOICE| "Yes, my lord."
|MIRAGE| "Good. Brace yourself."
Mirage holds the branding iron into the air with both hands, before slowly pushing it into the back of the girl's neck. Upon touching, the girl immediately lets out a blood curdling scream, but she quickly silences herself and bites her lip to prevent any further screaming while the iron pierces a symbol into her skin. Once Mirage is finally done, he pulls the iron back and holds it down.
|MIRAGE| "It is official. From this day on, Jenna Isaacs, you will forever be known as Bloody Mary. Welcome to the Church of Illusionism."
|bloodyMARY| "Thank you, lord."
|MIRAGE| "We will start our journey in XWA. Be prepared. They will throw everything they have at us. We will take it all, though. There's nothing they can do to stop us from saving this world. Life for them will never be the same again. Let's teach them that sanity is just a mirage."
She stands up from her chair and nods to Mirage, as the scene comes to a very abrupt end and we head to a commercial break.
