Everyone make your ratings based on their recent production/accomplishments/skillset. That doesn't mean base it off of only last season, but what they have done recently should be a huge factor into the rating that you give them. If you want to look back at their careers to try to justify (to yourself) that they are still as good as they used to be or anything like that when making your rating, that is fine and up to your personal preference. But we will be rating them mainly on the present and very recent past.

Rate each player from 1-10 (1/2 ratings allowed). You can judge what each rating between the 1-10 scale means to you (ex: 1 = out of the league in a few years, 10 = future HOF, etc. is really up to you) but try to stay consistent with those ratings for each player/position.

Any ratings that are 2.5 points or more under or over the average rating will be considered outliers and won't be counted.
