| England v Italy is going to be a boring 0-0 draw. If we sneak through we'll reach the quaters and go out
Final Prediction: Brazil v Spain/Germany (Im pretty sure Brazil cant play either until the final) |

| Also I think no Cole is weird. Shaw and Baines are both inferior at actually defending for their team. And if Baines gets injured we have an 18 year old playing LB for the whole tournament. Sure in an ideal world Shaw goes because he's a talent but who honestly would feel more confident with Shaw in their World Cup team than Cole? |

| Should've taken Gibbs. *herp derp code* No seriously, it's not like England had any chance anyway. |

Me. Shaw wasn't kicked out of the Southampton squad by a rightback. |

| Good point Mink. Speaking of Southampton, I'm surprised that one of the BPL's top scorers with 16 goals isn't going. Can anyone guess who that is? He's really good. |

Wilfried Bony Swansea City 16 Edin Dzeko Manchester City 16 Olivier Giroud Arsenal 16 Those are the only three with 16 goals. Bony is Ivorian, Dzeko is Bosnian and Giroud is French. All three of them are going. Jay Rodriguez of Southampton has 15 goals. He also has a ruptured anterior cruciate knee ligament, which will keep him out for six months. He picked this up in April (against Man City). April and June are not six months apart. All of this information is very easy to Google. |

| Because Southampton have a right back as good and as versatile as Cesar Azpilicueta? (who was probably the best LB in the league last year) |

| But the mere fact that Mourinho played a rightback at leftback suggests that he wasn't confident in his current leftback, so if he wasn't why should Hodgson be? |

| Damn, Vidal & Matias Fernandez might miss the WC now. Might have to change my prediction about Chile being a darkhorse to win it all! |

| 23-man US squad released today, & I'm disgusted. This is why you don't give a coach an extension before the WC. At least give the team a chance to win a game. Might as well just have taken the U20 team down there if "we're preparing for 2018." |

| Fucking Klinnsman must be a nazi and is out to get revenge for losing WWII. That's the only explanation that makes any sense. |

| I retract my bet with Mexi. I didn't know Nazi Klinsmann was out to set US Soccer back twenty years. We will lose every game by a lot of points. |

He is. He has a clear bias over German-American & players who were raised abroad. Julian Green shouldn't be on this team. |

| Fuck 2018 you cunt. Landon Donovan IS US Soccer. Cutting his career short because you think you've got a big dick and can turn this team into a World Cup winner is so selfish and arrogant and... Bullshit. I can't even think I'm so angry.
Klinsmann better fucking hope he didn't end the career of a US Soccer legend for a first round knockout. If they don't do something big in 2018, he should be killed. Not exaggerating at all. This could set US Soccer back 50 years. |

| I don't think this will set US soccer back because I think the prospects for 2018/2022 is as strong as it has ever been. So the future is bright at least... ...but... Cutting Landon was definitely a mistake. Yes, Donovan's declining, has motivation issues and doesn't have a defined spot, but there's no other player I'd prefer during crucial moments. This all just confirms that Klinsmann guaranteed a spot to Green so he would play for the USMNT - a player who plays for Bayern Munich's II team in the German 4th division . And someone explain to me also how Davis, Bedoya, & Yedlin all get a spot but Corona doesn't?

| Those boys better fucking deliver. Doesn't matter if they're better on the pitch if they don't actually win more games... Because there are going to be a lot of fans tuning out. Casual viewers want to see names they know. Donovan is the only name casual fans know. |

| SOURCES: As a sign of respect to Donovan, Rafa Marquez has removed himself from MEX roster saying, "We end this together". |
