Ring of Honor’s major announcement today was that they will host two joint shows with New Japan Pro Wrestling in May with the Border Wars event on May 10th in Toronto and the following Saturday on May 17th at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. The talent expected on the shows include IWGP champion Kazuchika Okada, Intercontinental champion Hiroshi Tanahashi, Shinsuke Nakamura, Jushin Thunder Liger, Gedo, Jado and Kushida and there could be others added as well. The deal was put together a few weeks ago through ROH officials and Tiger Hattori, who is based out of New York and was at the anniversary show last night.
