A new report suggests the reason the WWE-Sting signing has not officially gone through yet is due to WWE dragging their feet.
The Wrestling Observer is reporting that WWE isn't in a major rush to sign Sting because they aren't looking to use him for WrestleMania 30. However, it's now being said that Sting was actually hoping for a match with Taker in New Orleans this year.
For the past several years, Undertaker's 'Mania opponents would meet up at Taker's private gym to work out their match. Since Sting lives in the Dallas area, he is able and willing to do that as well.
Most people still expect Brock Lesnar to be the second half of this year's 'Streak Match' at WrestleMania, but there is some concern that Lesnar might not want to spend the extra time to work out the match in advance.
