PWInsider.com reports Rey Mysterio is expected to sign a new contract with WWE once his current deal expires.

There had been some speculation regarding Mysterio's future with the company, but WWE has added him to WWE Studios The Flinstones movie project which is set to come around WrestleMania 31.

WWE hasn't been using or referencing Mysterio much on television lately because of the speculation surrounding his future. With the latest developments, however, Mysterio is expected to have a new deal with WWE soon and be back regularly on WWE programming.

Rey's awesome but he's too old and injury prone. He needs to either retire or not wrestle.

I disagree, I enjoyed many of his matches with Jericho and Punk.
