Punk's always been a bit too passionate for his own good. Sort of like Austin way back when, he thinks he's being fucked with and he's taking the extreme option as a knee-jerk reaction (or so it seems). Doesn't really seem out of character from the Punk we've been seeing for the past decade or so.

Still the same, nothing will change if he leaves or stays, my opinion would remain the same.

No...it isn't. Being straight edge means you don't do drugs, you don't drink alcohol, and you don't have promiscuous sex. Drinking coffee is a choice. Some choose not to. Ian Mackaye [Minor Threat] did his best to not consume anything that would alter his mindset - caffeine, aspirin, etc - but it doesn't count against anything if you choose to do it because it's not a drug & it's not alchol.
