STYLE BREAKDOWN:
David is not a particularly technical wrestler; That's not to say he doesn't know his way around basic holds, but he prefers to hit hard, and hit fast. Like many of today's big men in the ever-evolving sport, David uses a hybrid style of offense, mixing surprising speed and athleticism with raw power and furious strikes. He can hit like a truck if need be (his finishing Superman Punch is a testament to his ability to do so) but he can also perform feats of surprise athleticism, whether it's walking the top rope, or diving through them to flatten his foes. He tends rely on strikes early on in the match, before breaking out with some of his signature slams and suplexes later on, and finally coming full circle as he batters his weakened foe with precision strikes toward the end. In dire straits, and typically either early on, or very late into a bout, he may fly to ground a particularly troublesome opponent. David prefers not to cheat; you won't see him going for low blows or eye rakes (though shots to the throat are not out of the question), but he is privy to rest holds and stomping away at his opponent.

The arena lights grow dim as an intense drum beat overpowers the airspace unoccupied by more than the crowd's murmurs, and a thick, gray fog floods the stage, occupying roughly a foot and a half off the air above the floor.
As the guitars kick in, bringing the timeless-and-aggressive riff of Led Zeppelin's "Kashmir" with them, a synchronous flash blinds the arena-goers for no more than a split second. A dim spotlight draws attention to the stage as "The Ivory Colossus" makes his way out from behind the curtain. His impressive form towering over the stage. He stands in silence, momentarily. His chest rising and falling as he breathes deeply, glaring at the squared circle in the distance. Baring his teeth, David raises both arms to his sides and begins to flex, demonstrating his perfectly sculpted and battle hardened musculature for the cameras. Turning once and allowing the muscles in his back to ripple for the camera. His show-boating ceases for now, as his focus returns to the ring itself. Turning to face the ramp, David rolls his shoulders twice, before beginning a powerful stride towards the ring. Ignoring the fans on either side of him until he reaches the foot of the ramp and casts a glance out over the thousands in attendance. His lips quiver into the etch of a smirk for a brief moment, prompting David to stroke the front of his short beard, briefly.
Sauntering over to the steps, David adjusts his pace as he quickly jogs up onto the ring apron and climbs into the ring over the top rope. Throwing his arms up over his head, fists clenched and biceps bulging, David unleashes a titanic, intimidating roar as the lights come up to about half their usual brightness. Bringing his arms down, David clutches at his right wrist and flexes his biceps from the front before backing into a corner of the ring and relaxing against the turnbuckle, his eyes locked in a determined, stony gaze. His music fades out as he awaits his opponent / the beginning of the match with a look that is both focused, and yet simultaneously displeased.

David Malakian, born Michael Pineda, in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, grew up adoring Professional Wrestling, as many kids of his generation did during the Attitude Era. He was mostly a fan of the same wrestlers as everyone else; Stone Cold, The Rock, D-Generation X, etc. But he was also a fan of a minor talent known in the WWF as "Kurrgan", as back home he had wrestled as the "Acadian Giant", and Kurgan was one of the first wrestlers Michael ever met in person (today, he uses one of Kurrgan's signature maneuvers in his offense). Michael's path to wrestling wasn't deliberate, but his passion for this business is as real as any other dedicated wrestler's.
Having dealt with considerable discrimination and bullying through his youth and teenage years because of his Albinism, Michael constantly persevered in spite of them. He wrestled in high school, and later took up body building (not surprisingly). Through the latter, Michael wound up meeting several local professional wrestlers and eventually receiving an opportunity to visit a wrestling school for a try-out. He was enamoured almost instantly and joined the school.
After training for about eight months, he was picked up by a local promotion. During the talent scout's phone call to the local promoter, he overheard himself described as "Looking like the Statue of David". This descriptor lead to an early version of the character he plays today, and he wrestled on the independent circuit for roughly three years under the name "David Kritikos".
'David' was again scouted (inadvertently) at an event by former 2WWF Champion and XWA Alumni Rob Chapman, who invited Michael to his family's wrestling school to fine-tune his skills. In exchange, Rob would try to get him in the door. After spending another year training at the C4 Academy and working some of the local promotions in Western Canada, Rob successfully helped get David noticed by XWA, and his debut is anticipated among Canadian fans.
David has changed his last name to 'Malakian', after the guitar player Daron Malakian (the guitar player for System of A Down), one of his favourite musicians.

He has a sort of vicarious narcisissim that he takes in through David's destruction, and channels every bit of it back through his words. For such a wiry man, he certainly has a booming presence, and an even more titanic ego, and every victory David attains fuels the fires of that ego. Silas will take it upon himself to cause distraction and interference if he absolutely has to. He understands and respects David's ability enough not to interfere if he knows the Ivory Colossus has things under control, but in some, dire circumstances, Silas is just as liable to make his presence felt in matches. Roman Reigns executes that Superman Punch way better!
Also, awesomeness all around.
Most of the videos I found of him doing it were really sloppy looking (his aren't always, but he tends to graze with it and it looks weak as fuck lol) so I wanted to find a video showcasing what the Superman Punch is supposed to look like. I love that Reigns does it, though. I remember using it on a fed character a few years ago and nobody thinking it would work as a move. Fuck y'all, now everyone uses it in feds. xD

I'll be updating this after 2 or 3 shows with a manager (I'm want to come up with one that has a distinct personality; I've already been developing this character for, like, a year and a half lol), and probably making subtle updates leading into his debut. I've already made a couple of small alterations to his moveset. Stuff I didn't notice when I was editing Rob's profile into this and what not.
Once the first card he's on is up, I won't make any alterations without notifying my opponent in advance.

Yeah... I really wanted to have a unique character (as I often do) rather than a blatant imitation of somebody who's already in WWE or TNA. This is something new for me. Not sure if I'll do it well, but it's worth a try, right?
