According to The Wrestling Observer, Michael Cole is set to have a meeting with Global Force Wrestling commentator Chael Sonnen at the upcoming WWE Smackdown tapings in Portland, Oregon on August 11th.

The meeting was reportedly setup by WWE talent scout Gerald Brisco and WWE’s Senior Director of Talent Development Canyon Ceman.

You might recall Sonnen was in attendance for the WWE Hall of Fame and WrestleMania this year, and he was scheduled to have unofficial talks with Kevin Dunn regarding a possible role in the company.
