The fans instantly rise to a loud boo as Razor Xtreme’s theme song hits. This Sunday, he will be going toe to toe with both Minkaro and Dominik Diveraz in a triple threat for the world title. And they don’t like it. They don’t feel Razor deserves it, but he’s going to get it anyway. Razor appears almost instantly. Behind him, the hulking and intelligent monster known as Maddox Paine – a former world champion in his own right – and now the enforcer for Razor. And they are not alone, for they are accompanied by Eric Goodman, their devilish manager. All three men walk down the ramp quickly before entering the ring. Razor’s theme begins to die out as only him and Goodman have a mic in hand.
“BOOOOOOOOOO!”
Razor Xtreme: “Oh, boo me all you want. I’m sick of it! I’m sick of it all!”
“BOOOOOOOOO!”
Razor Xtreme: “You see, for the past few weeks, all I’ve getting is questions and doubters and assholes who are intent on bringing me down. Well, no more. I’m sick of it! ‘Why are Maddox and Goodman aligned with you?’ ‘Why are you in the title match?’ ‘You don’t deserve it!”
Razor looks around for a bit.
Razor Xtreme: “Well. In an effort to shut some of you assholes up for good, I feel I should explain. Several weeks ago, we saw the return of Maddox Paine and Eric Goodman. Maddox helped me clean the house, and Eric’s genius orchestrated the entire thing! You see, a few years ago, when Robert McDigg forced Smoke Xtreme to send me away, I met a man named Eric Goodman. He had come across a troubled man named Maddox Paine. He was a savage, a monster, a beast like no other. He was unmatched physically, and even so… he was a brilliant man. He was really the next step on the evolutionary chart. He was intelligent, he knew what he was talking about, and all he needed was a little bit of guidance.”
Eric Goodman pats Maddox Paine on the shoulder and chuckles.
Razor Xtreme: “I met with Smoke Xtreme shortly after he gave me the boot and Smoke came to me, crying and begging for forgiveness. He told me he didn’t have a choice. I was mentally unstable according to Robert McDigg, and I had to be put on the sideline, or else he’d face serious consequences. I understood, but I used this leverage over Smoke to strike a perfect deal. Eric… take it.”
Goodman walks forward. He wears his usual silly tuxedo and waddles forward. The overweight man is way too happy right now for his own good.
Eric Goodman: “Gladly! You see, Mr. Xtreme was wrongfully on the sidelines under false pretenses and had every right to be enraged! But if that’s the way it was going to be, there was only one way he could still be here while not actually being here. That was with the brilliance that is… Maddox Paine! This 265+ lb monster was ready to decimate all who stood in his way! From David Michaels, to Riley Williamson, to Dominik Diveraz – Mr. Xtreme’s opponent this Sunday, to many, many others! For almost a full year, Maddox Paine sadistically tore apart everyone put in front of him, without a doubt! Meanwhile, we made a deal with Razor that if he used his leverage over Smoke to bring Maddox in, the second he could come back to this company, Maddox would be his loyal enforcer. It wasn’t a hard deal, Maddox already liked Razor, and considers him a friend.”
Razor nods his head, and the intimidating Maddox Paine pats Razor on the back.
Eric Goodman: “…so it wasn’t difficult to exchange Maddox as a friend to Razor for a boosted start in this company. …and then… Maddox became a hero and he was led to false witness as he truly believed that the fans were the be-all end-all to everything. He was blinded by ambitions to PLEASE you people and make you happy. When the reality of it was, Maddox had just forgotten that he was supposed to be an ass-kicker! He went from plowing through men like WHEAT to losing to some nobody named Vladimir T. Strife”
Goodman says this almost with disgust in his mouth.
Eric Goodman: “This wasn’t what Maddox was supposed to be. Razor knew it was time for him to return. After Maddox had a successful world title run and an amazing run in general, it was time to fulfill our end of the deal. Maddox realized that none of you were important when you left him in the shitter after he lost to Vlad. The same people who caused him to lose to Vlad turned on him for it! He knew the truth, and he remembered his proposal to Mr. Xtreme. And now, we’re back.”
Goodman opens up both arms to the sides happily as Razor nods his head up and down and Maddox intimidatingly looks forward.
Razor Xtreme: “…and it’s great to have you back. You see, I didn’t force Maddox to be here. It’s his choice. If Maddox wanted to leave right now, both him and Eric could walk up this ramp right now and out of this arena, but guess what? They’re not going to do it, because they don’t want to do it. Because unlike most of the assholes in the back and in this arena, they stay TRUE to their word!”
“BOOOOOOO!”
Razor Xtreme: “I gave them the ability to bring this monster into the company, and now they are repaying me by taking the place of that coward Eric Bull as a manager, and enforcer!”
As he says each, he turns to each respective man.
Eric Goodman: “It wasn’t difficult, really! Maddox looks up to you!”
Razor Xtreme: “Oh now, come on. Don’t be so modest.”
Both men play a game of compliments as they pat each other in the back -figuratively.
Razor Xtreme: “Nonetheless, with this monster of a man, and this brilliance of a manager, there is no one that can stop me. And that includes those chumps that XWA management have the audacity to call my ‘opponents’ this Sunday at Redemption. You may as well call them my victims because there is no way in HELL that they are going to get past me. You wanna know the ironic thing? Redemption is a new Pay Per View, used to replace Chain Reaction. Well last year, at this exact same Pay Per View, Chain Reaction, Maddox Paine won the World title from Dominik Diveraz and an Englishman – albeit, a more dangerous one! In a triple threat. This year, I will repeat what my enforcer did.”
Razor chuckles.
Razor Xtreme: “…as for you mutts who don’t think I deserved this shot… let’s just wait and see at Redemption. Because after Redemption… when I stand here as the new world heavyweight champion… there won’t be a single person talking shit. This Sunday will be the endgame to anyone else who looks to be world champ, because WHEN I win that title, no one will take it from me!”
Razor drops the microphone as him and Goodman chuckle, and Maddox keeps the intimidating and serious look on his face. Goodman quickly gets between Maddox and Razor and raises both of their arms up in the air, barely managing to reach Maddox’s arm. All three men share a pose as the show goes to commercials.[/color][/color]
