ME.) Michael Astin vs ??? | Singles Match Empty
PostSubject: Ruro's Awesome Return Post    ME.) Michael Astin vs ??? | Singles Match EmptySat Apr 04, 2015 11:05 am

The crowd is electric as they chant loudly for the returning hall of famer.  "WELCOME BACK!" over and over again as T.K. steps into the ring.  Michael Astin doesn't appear to be so impressed, but then again, he's a hard man to please.

"What a shocker here tonight ladies and gentlemen!  T.K. has returned for the first time in nearly a year!"

"T.K.'s definitely a tough guy, but I find it doubtful that he'll still be in top competing shape."

"Regardless partner, it looks like we're in for one hell of a match!"

T.K. takes a moment to enjoy the fanfare before giving Astin a glance, the general manager appears ready to go, not at all impressed.  Not that these two are meeting for the first time, but Astin isn't going to be the one who stresses that.  As Evolution by Korn diese down, the official signals for the bell.

"DING DING DING"

As the bell tolls thrice, the match gets off with a start as the two men immediately meet up in the center of the ring for a lock up.  He may be a year off, but the Evolution of Man is no weaker than he was the last time he wrestled as he easily pushes the Ultimate Synner back, causing Astin to roll backwards into the ropes.  T.K. doesn't allow him any time to try and rest either as he charges forward attempt to hit Michael with a clothesline as he returns to his feet, but misses as his foe ducks under.  The Hall of Famer bounces off the ropes and tries to catch Astin again, the Terror of Death is ready for him as he catches the Crimson Giant with a drop kick!  Both men are quick back to their feet as the crowd cheers for the action.

"Well it doesn't appear as if T.K. is too rusty, now it's simply a question of whether or not he can keep up with Shade."

"Very true, however this isn't a brawl, and only one of these men has wrestled a match within the last few months."

T.K. doesn't wait long to try and get back in the drivers seat as he charges yet again, only to be countered by Astin yet again.  This time with a Russian Legsweep!  The fans immediately start to show their displeasure as the New Yorker takes charge as he drops down and attempts an Ankle Lock!  With the infamous submission locked in, T.K. cries out in pain.  The well known strategy of taking out the legs of a giant is no new pain to the Evolution of Man.  The big man pulls himself to the ropes as quickly as he can.  However Astin doesn't immediately release the hold.  He waits as Jack Hammer counts for the rope break, finally releasing the hold at four.

"That's just dispicable!  The count's not there for you to use like that!"

"Says who?  He has till the count of five to let go, why not use that time?"

The official tries to push Astin away as T.K. slowly tries to return to his feet, but Michael shoves the official out of the way as he begins stomping down on the big man.  The Synner grabs his larger foe by the arm before whipping him across the ring.  Upon his return however, T.K. manages to duck under a clothesline attempt from the XWA GM, before returning with full momentum to land his signature Cambrian Explosion!  The kick to the face leaves Hell's Pyromaniac rolling around holding his face.  T.K. drops down to a knee for a moment, his ankle still sore from earlier.  Astin wisely uses this time to get out of the ring to recover.  The Evolution of Man follow him out.

"And T.K.'s back in it!  Michael may be glad he's still conscious, that kick can knock out any average man, let alone if you're taken by surprise."

"He shouldn't have put himself in that spot, T.K. is a very explosive individual.  If I was in there, T.K. would still be on the ground."

Astin attempts to catch T.K. with a kick on the outside, which is a mistake.  Between the two, only one is well trained on the art of MMA.  T.K. blocks the kick before hitting the GM square in the jaw with an uppercut.  The Crimson Giant lays it out as he hits blow after blow while the GM covers himself up.  "3!"  As the Ultimate Synner staggers back, T.K. aims for a lethal blow, flying forward with a Flying Knee Strike!  The GM is aware enough to roll out of the way, saving himself from disaster.  The former XWA world champion is less fortunate as he crashes knee first into the barricade! "7!"

"That was a costly mistake."

"Indeed, not only does it give Astin time to recover, but it further injures his right leg.  If he's not careful Astin will have this match in hand."

The Master of Syn quickly recovers enough to roll in and back out of the ring resetting the count.  From here he grabs the Crimson Giant before throwing him into the steel steps!  The fans respond with a resounding "OOOH" to the impact.  Blood appears to begin dripping from T.K.'s forehead from the aforementioned impact. "4!"  Astin grabs his foe by the head, before continuously slamming the Hall of Famer's face into the steel!  "7!"  After the nth time, the Ultimate Synner finally tosses T.K. back into the ring.

"Welcome back to XWA T.K.!  Bet he wishes he hadn't come back now!"

"I don't know about that partner, but he's definitely taking some brutal punishment right now.  It's a bit tough to watch."

The Terror of Death doesn't let up for a moment as he begins stomping on the injured right angle of the Evolution of Man.  T.K. struggles to resist as he grabs the ropes for support.  This prompts Hammer to push Astin away, scolding him for being too aggressive.  Yet again the GM ignores the official's plea.  As Michael goes to grab the Grand Slam winner, T.K. responds with a right hand that stuns the GM.  Then another, as the crowd goes wild for the apparent comeback.  T.K. finally knocks his foe back with an elbow strike before whipping the Ultimate Synner into the nearby turnbuckle.  The big man charges, and slams into Astin with an Avalanche body splash!

"Looks like we can't write T.K. off just yet as he's still in this!"

"Of course you can write him out, the match isn't over till it's over."

T.K. walks away as he pounds his chest with a manly roar to the fan's approval, blood dripping all over the place from the nasty cut that Astin gave him.  This moment in front of the fans appears to have been a mistake however as he's caught from behind by the Ultimate Synner.  The Evolution of Man staggers forward, but stays on his feet.  The New Yorker doesn't let up however, landing a kick to T.K.'s injured ankle, forcing the big man to fall for a moment.  He then attempts to whip the big man across the ring, but to his surprise, T.K. reverses it into a whip of his own!  Upon Astin's return, T.K. lifts him up for his signature Spine Buster, dubbed Adaptation Slam!  Michael has other plans however as he drops an elbow onto the Crimson Giant's head before wriggling free.  While the Hall of Famer is stunned, Astin grabs him by the head and goes for a signature move of his own as he drops T.K. into his knee with a Facebreaker DDT, or SYN Surgery as the GM has named it.

After his signature move, the General Manager feels as if he's done enough to win this match, so he goes for a cover. ONE... TWO... T - KICKOUT! T.K. manages to raise his shoulder, only further irritating the demented superstar. Not wanting to let up and give T.K. any momentum back, Michael stands up tall and starts stomping away against the injured right ankle some more. But this time, T.K. has simply had enough. He sits up rapidly and grabs Michael's foot, twisting it aggressively to send Michael sprawling to the sweat-infested and semi-bloodied canvas.

Ted Cedar: "These two men are giving it all they've got tonight."

David Michaels: "Well... it's not much, to be honest. But it's something."

Once Michael collides with the canvas, T.K. hurriedly mounts his adversary and decides to go for a submission; if not to win the contest, to at least wear Michael down even more. "The Crimson Giant" places both of Michael's arm across his thighs, locking them tightly. Once that's done, T.K. reaches forward and cups his hands together, interlocking his fingers and leaning backwards, placing the General Manager into a ferocious-looking camel clutch! With nowhere to go, Jack Hammer gets close to Michael to see if he's ready to submit. The fury in Michael's eyes says otherwise however.

Ted Cedar: "This doesn't seem to be wearing Michael out; it's only pissing him off."

David Michaels: "Pissing someone off can wear them down though if done correctly."

T.K. applies the maneuver with vicious force, looking to solidify a win on his return match. Sadly for him, "The Terror of Death" is not about to give up. Michael manages to break his arms free and starts to pull and tug away at T.K.'s interlocked fingers. T.K.'s MMA training makes this task a little more challenging than it normally would be, but Michael finds a way by pressing his index and middle fingernails onto one of T.K.'s wrist veins, normally where people would check for a pulse. This dirty tactic isn't seen by the referee and allows for Michael to break the submission a lot easier.

David Michaels: "Well that's one way to break a camel clutch."

Ted Cedar: "A dirty and despicable way!"

The returning superstar tends to his wrist and is furious at Michael's cheap escape tactic. So as soon as Michael stands up, T.K. delivers a thunderous big boot to Michael's face, sending him flying into the corner! T.K. marches over to his enemy and lifts him up, dragging him towards the center of the ring. He positions Michael for what appears to be a powerbomb, but as Michael is bent over, he surprises T.K. by slamming his elbow onto T.K.'s injured ankle! This gives "The Ultimate Synner" an opening to pull on both of T.K.'s ankles and send him back-first onto the canvas. While still holding his legs, Michael jumps up and delivers a leg drop where one of his legs connects with T.K.'s groin!

Ted Cedar: "This match has just been cruel to T.K.. He's cut open, his ankle is badly hurt, and now a shot to the groin."

David Michaels: "XWA: where we give men abortions."

Jack Hammer gets involved and begins to scold Michael, saying he should disqualify him. Michael gets into Jack's face and threatens him by adding him to the list of people he's fired. Jack counter-threatens by saying he would sue, and to simply obey the rules of the match before he's disqualified. The General Manager brushes him off and turns back around to see T.K. standing tall. Unable to react quickly enough, T.K. manages to finally hit a powerful clothesline, knocking Michael down! He goes for the cover and it appears Jack initiates a fast-count. ONE. TWO. THR - NO! Michael kicks out in time.

David Michaels: "So now Jack is into cheating? That was blatantly fast."

Ted Cedar: "Michael had no right getting into Jack's face. But Jack didn't have any right trying to make Michael lose cheaply either."

"The Evolution of Man" slams his fists onto the mat in frustration, although he should have known a clothesline wouldn't be enough to take out Michael. T.K. stands up and tends to his cut during this time of rest. Michael rolls over and returns to a vertical stance as both men now stand across from each other in the squared circle. As the fans cheer to indicate they want more, Michael is the first to make a move as he launches himself towards his opponent. He jumps into the air and attempts a bicycle kick, but T.K. dodges the move. Acting swiftly, Michael grabs the top rope as his feet land on the turnbuckle. Michael turns around and launches himself in mid-air simultaneously to deliver a beautiful diving spear against T.K.!

Ted Cedar: "We've certainly never seen Michael do that before!"

David Michaels: "And for good reason. It was too sloppy; he could have broken his neck."

The collision knocks both men to the mat with potent force, enabling Michael to go for another pin attempt. ONE... TWO... T - KICKOUT! Yet again, T.K. raises his shoulder up before the third count, thwarting Michael from achieving victory. The General Manager yells out "AFTER THAT FUCKING SKILLFUL MOVE?!" to Jack. "YOU'RE FUCKING KILLING ME JACK! YOU'RE KILLING ME!" Michael continues to yell loudly enough that many of those in attendance can hear him clearly. "Hell's Pyromaniac" turns around in rage and grabs T.K. up by his head, pushing his thumbs into the open cut. As T.K. groans in agony, he surprises Michael by delivering a couple of swift punches to Michael's abdomen. With Michael stunned momentarily, T.K. uses his open wound to do something daring: he headbutts Michael, aiming for his eyes to blind him!

David Michaels: "That's... a thing. Don't know why, but it is."

Ted Cedar: "That's just dangerous for both men! I can't believe T.K. would do something like that."

Michael staggers backwards, trying to clear out his eyes and hoping he doesn't get any disease from this. T.K. is suffering too though as that clearly damaged him as well, but it was worth it. With Michael blinded, T.K. pounds his chest to gain some momentum from the fans. "The Crimson Giant" stomps over towards Michael and knees his gut viciously. He signals that he plans on finishing this. He lifts Michael up into a powerbomb position and delivers just that, straight onto the center of the ring. But he doesn't let go and he's still standing, so using all his strength, he lifts Michael up again and delivers yet another powerbomb! Yet he's STILL holding on and standing, so he lifts Michael up one last time and executes a third and final powerbomb: a signature combination he deems "Metamorphosis"!

Ted Cedar: "That might be it, folks."

David Michaels: "But if it's not, T.K. is screwed because it looks like he used the last of his strength to execute that."
