KENDRICK BAYNE VS JAKE EVANSTON
SINGLES MATCH
GRADER: PROGGY

Kendrick Bayne: First and foremost, I can definitely tell that this was super rushed. You used the stipulation to great strength and the inclusion of the bat was fucking brutal. The match was super short, and it didn't seem like Jake got enough offense in. I did enjoy the description of the flow of the match and the interactions. I actually loved "The two gladiators start to circle the ring as if this was their coliseum." It adds a nice taste of how brutal the match is. Once again, the bat added into the finish was fucking brutal, and it did give a nice finish to the match.

Jake Evanston: Another short match. Your description was good from the get go, right out of the gate. You really used the size advantage Kendrick Bayne has to your advantage. You found that and you exploited it perfectly. The hardcore elements added were really nice, man. And the finish was brutal, but in a good way.

Verdict: Jake Evanston wins this one. good job

XTREME ICON VS GENGHIS VAUHGAN
SINGLES MATCH
GRADER: RILEY

Genghis Vaughgan: And right away, I see that you use the stipulation to full effect. Genghis walks towards Icon and looks for a handshake but Icon denies him and instead gives him a Kendo Stick shot to the head. Then following after a Kendo Stick shot to the midsection which forms welts onto Genghis's left arm. Ouch. You did a good job on putting Xtreme Icon over as a tough, wrestler here. One thing to which I found funny is, "He points to his crotch, pulls his pants open a bit and pulls out a protective cup. He grins some more and turns around to look to the crowd as a sign of “See, I’m smart” before tossing the cup outside of the ring." - I found to be awkward but yet, hilarious part of the match. The Finish, putted this match away nicely. Genghis lifting his opponent up before he jumps from the announce table before sending him down onto the wooden table via, a Michinoku Driver. Before putting Icon into the ring and locking Icon in a ankle lock. You did a excellent job here Genghis.

Xtreme Icon: Don't know how to pinpoint it but I felt as if the beginning portion of the match was a bit rushed. Though, I could understand the sequences going on here with it being; Both Men start in a collar and elbow. Vaugh takes Icon over with a arm-drag takeover. Icon pops back up and takes Vaugh down with a double leg takedown. Vaugh jumps over him and with his back turned on Icon, Icon wraps his arms around the midsection of Vaugh before lifting him up and sending him back with a Snap Suplex. Nice moment describing the failed clothesline attempt made by Vaugh as Icon flips him over the Barricade and onto the Concrete floor. I do feel that you should have Vaugh selled that, though. It probably winded him. I cringed a little at the part where you had Icon lined him up for a Superman Punch but catches nothing but air as his fist goes flying through the passengers window. Overall I thought you did well in The Action department and kept the flow of the match going throughout. Not having it drop at any point of your match.

Verdict: Though both matches were short, both of you guys did a terrific and fine job in using the stipulation. I found enjoyment in reading both of these matches. I'm going to give this one to Xtreme Icon His match had the better story telling and also, had more Action then Genghis. Though in the beginning, Icon did indeed struggle abit but I found midpoint of his match, he managed to make up for it and did a good job in making a comeback. Congratulations, Icon. Good luck in the second round of the Tournament. good job

NICHOLAS CARSON VS DANTE CROSS VS JAKOB AZAZEL VS ACE ANDREWS
SINGLES MATCH
GRADER: NONE

Four-way no-show.

JAMES CARLISLE VS NATE INSANO
SINGLES MATCH
GRADER: NONE

James Carlisle won via no-show.

MARK STOREY VS JARED JARUSALEM
SINGLES MATCH
GRADER: Riley

Jared Jerusalem: Short match, that had good action and description throughout. The Start of your match was simple, Jared slaps Storey in the back of the head trying to get under Storey's skin to which, he manages to do so. But his anger and frustration causes him to stumble into a Sunset flip by Jared. Liked the part where you had Jared springboard onto the ropes and tried to hit a hurricana but ends up going into a Powerbomb. You did a good job on bringing the crowd into the match and making them feel apart of it whenever there was a big powerful move or counter that would happen. The match was good for a short match. The Finish I thought was pretty 'plain', as I would say, nothing big or unexpected but the Switchback followed by, the twisted Pendulum was pretty unexpected as you did mentioned that the Crowd Oh and wrote that it was one of Jared's rare finisher. And also put the match away very nicely. Overall, a good effort from you, Jared.

Mark Storey: Very short match right here, I felt that you did "Spot after Spot" here, where you just wrote he did this then did that. Though. you did have some good action happening on earlier where you had Jared leap into the air with a high knee that lands on Storey's temple which causes him to almost topple over the ropes. There was also another part to which I enjoyed, "Just as the champion turns, he sees Jared flying towards him, having used the inside of the ropes as a springboard, with a perfectly executed moonsault! Luckily, Mark catches the flying Jared and in one swift motion, mainly because if he didn’t he’d be flattened by the moonsault, he uses all of his strength to jump into the air slightly, extend his legs and inflict a reversed spike piledriver to Jared!" - Pretty epic, if I do say so myself. The rest of your match I found throughout there was alot of Mark Storey doing this rather then Jared Jerusalem doing anything. There was alot of Defense by Mark, but not enough defense by Jared. Overall, You had good action. But not enough back and forth going on between the two men.

Verdict: I'm going to give this one to Jared Jerusalem I felt his match nailed everything and had everything going on. I thought he did do well in hitting several areas that Mark had not touched on and just made his match more polished then Mark's. Mark if you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a PM so we can go over this more.

AKIRA KOBAYASHI VS VLADIMIR STRIFE
SINGLES MATCH
GRADER: JHALC

Vladimir Strife
You didn't jump right into the hardcore stipulation. Half the match goes on like a regular match would before you really dive into the KoX style. To me, that was kind of disappointing. It probably would have been a bad thing, but the match is written so well that it didn't matter. You had a flow to it that eventually came around to the hardcore stuff in its own time. Once you got to it there was no stopping it. Good spots both on the outside and inside of the ring.

Akira
This match was great. So much description in between the action. It read like a legit story instead of just a battle between two guys. I also think you made perfect use of the no rules situation. The most notably that I came away from it was was the uncharacteristic low blow. It kind of played to the fact that it didn't matter what these two would typically do, this situation was different. You sold the hell out of both men as well. I have no complaints really.

Verdict
For me it has to come down to who used the situation better and the fact of the matter is, Akira made it feel like KoX. The selling was spot on for both matches Dr the most part. Both did a damn good job though.

DANNY DIAMOND VS THOMAS BARNEZ
