Paul Heyman appeared on The MMA Hour yesterday and said CM Punk's goal in life is to never lace up his wresting boots again, whether it be for WWE, Ring of Honor, Japan or anywhere else.

Heyman said Punk believes if he comes back, he will be a failure. Heyman also thinks that Punk feels his success in life is predicated on never going back.

Heyman also noted that he believes WWE doesn't want Punk back ever again. Of course there's always the chance that something happens down the road and Heyman pointed this out.

Within WWE, there's a feeling that even if Punk wanted to come back, WWE wouldn't let him and right now, they do not want him back. It's said that there still could be legal issues coming out of Punk's departure from the company.

Been saying it since he quit, he's done with wrestling. He's not coming back. The only way he does is if he gets bored and wanted to do something with his time. That being said, i dont believe WWE wouldnt take him back in a heartbeat later on down the road if he really did get the itch again. The dude made them money, and as long as you can make someone money, there will always be interest.

Punk yearns to be a part-timer who gets star treatment and takes away spots from deserving guys who are there every day.

He is in one of the few actual feuds right now in WWE. He is over as hell. Does that all = Brooklyn Brawler level to you?

I dunno, he's been set on retiring for the past few years. If the dude truly wanted to stop wrestling, i think he'd do it.

He may not be done but there is no way I see him on a full-time schedule again. He'd probably want to settle for a Brock Lesnar type deal or something.

If Batista had walked away from WWE because he didn't like that he was getting jobbed for the months that he was back, everyone would jump on his sack. But when Punk does it, he's an awesome rebel that doesn't let WWE walk on him.

Maybe 5% of people praise him for walking out

It'd be stupid for Punk to be a part-timer when he left abruptly because a part-timer won the Royal Rumble and main-evented 'Mania. If he's gonna be the very thing he left the company for albeit wrestling IN-GENERAL for, then he can just stay home. No point in doing the part-time thing.
