M8. Travis Levitt vs. Xtreme Icon Empty
PostSubject: Levitt VS Icon   M8. Travis Levitt vs. Xtreme Icon EmptySat Jul 19, 2014 11:34 pm

Many Many Apologies for the shortness of this match. My boy was sick today, and I really didn't want to miss the deadline. I figured any match is better then no match, but I owe Peg an apology if I win, because this wasn't the match I had planned originally. This is just what came to me as I was writing.

DING! DING! DING!

The bell rings and Oklahoma gets ready to watch the war between The Dragon and The Hardcore Hall of Famer. Levitt moves in quickly, his confidence buoyed after a big couple of weeks, and with the knlowedge that LJ Summers is now watching his back. Levitt closes into Icon quickly, raising a hand to call for a test of strength, but Xtreme Icon doesn't give him what he wants, instead greeting the Virginian with a boot right into the midsection to a massive roar of approval from Oklahoma! Icon came to fight tonight and proves as much, drilling Travis with a right hand to the jaw followed by a second and a third, backing Levitt into the ropes. The Montana Militia Man now grabs Levitt by his arm and whips him across the ring, before stepping to the center of the ring and setting up to dropkick Levitt as he rebounds back, but The Dragon hooks his arms around the top rope and stops himself. Xtreme Icon is quick to catch on though, and charges forward clotheslining Levitt straight over the top rope, and sending him tumbling to the outside! Oklahoma roars, and in the ring Xtreme Icon backs up and raises a single fist in the air in triumph.

Ted Cedar: “Icon came ready to fight tonight! If The Dragon thinks he's getting an easy win, he's got another thing coming!”

Joey Miles: “Clearly Icon already has his buzz going. Levitt's in trouble!”

After a momentary pause to showoff for the crowd, Icon now turns back to look out at Levitt who is just stumbling up and shaking his head. The Toughest Hall of Famer in XWA quickly turns and runs into the far ropes, charging forward to look for a big outside dive, but pulls himself up short quickly as he sees Levitt stumbling away. Xtreme Icon shakes his head, but wastes little time in running to the ropes and sliding out of the ring, hot in pursuit of the retreating Levitt. The Dragon spots him coming though and starts running to get away, looking to try and create some space to give himself a breather, but Icon isn't slacking off in his chase, and races after The Dragon. As Icon comes around the corner though, he runs straight into the chest of LJ Summers! The ANZAC Warrior stands tall, his arms crossed and an eyebrow raised at Icon, who doesn't flinch instead getting in LJ's face, and staring him down. Summers doesn't move though, just staring at Icon for a long few moments, before icon moves to go around him....and Levitt jumps up from behind LJ and rakes Icon's eyes! Icon reels back from the cheapshot, and Levitt presses his advantage, grabbing Icon by the back of the head and slamming it into the ringpost.

Ted Cedar: “Oh come on! Levitt with that cheapshot thanks to the distraction by LJ!”

Joey Miles: “Thats why he got Summers to join him, Ted. He knows how to use LJ, and now Icon is at a disadvantage!”

Levitt shares a look with Summers, who just grins, before The Dragon rolls into the ring to break the referees count. Levitt slowly climbs to his feet, and then raises his arms to draw Oklahoma's hatred, and turning back to look out of the ring. Making a big show of stepping from the ring, Levitt draws the referee near, and the ref gets in Levitt's face, demanding The Dragon stay in the ring. Levitt starts arguing with the ref loudly, getting in his face, and trying to demand he be allowed out of the ring, and also questioning the referees sexual habits. To any and all, this seems like Levitt is just trying to keep the referees attention and right you would be, as on the outside LJ races up, grabs Icon by the back of the head, and slams him face-first into the ringpost again. Icon stumbles out, and LJ boots him square in the nuts to double him over, pulls his arms around with a straight jacket hold, and with Oklahoma watching on shock, LJ lifts Icon up and drives him down on the ringside floor with the straight-jacket powerbomb he calls The THUNDER BOMB! Icon takes all the damage right on his back, being laid out right on the ramp, and LJ wastes no time posing, instead backing away innocently, while conviniently in the ring, Levitt finally stops arguing with the referee and takes a few steps back.

Ted Cedar: “NO! NO! Summers may have just broken Icon on the outside!”

Joey Miles: “Summers is earning his wages early tonight. Levitt wants the win, and Summers is going to do whatever he has to to get it done.”

The ref turns around to keep counting Icon out, and Levitt ducks and rolls out the side, pacing around to Icon. Levitt walks over to Icon and flashes a knowing grin at Summers, before dragging Xtreme up and rolling him into the ring. Levitt rolls in behind Icon and now drags the deadweight of the Hall of Famer up, hooks his arms with a Full Nelson and flips him over Levitt's head, driving im into the mat with the DRAGON SUPLEX Levitt bridges his legs for the pin, and the referee drops down and makes the count.

[ONE.....TWO.....THR-NO!!]

ICON GETS A SHOULDER UP! Oklahoma comes unglued and Levitt can't believe, looking at the referee and demanding a recount. Icon rolls away, still barely moving but leaves his head draped over the apron. Summers, spotting the referee busy arguing with Levitt again, takes the chance charging forward, leaping up, and drilling Icon's exposed head with the CADEL EVANS SPECIAL Bicyle Kick! Oklahoma's brief moment of excitement turns into a loud round of jeers, and in the ring Levitt shakes his head, and shoves the referee aside, walking over to the downed Icon, and dragging him up. Levitt now hooks The Toughest Hall of Famer in XWA History's head, throws an arm up, and then drives Icon down with the CAPITOL KRUNCH Evenflow DDT! Once again Levitt hooks both of Icon's legs, rolling him up tight as the referee drops down and makes the count.

[ONE.....TWO.....THREE!!]

DING! DING! DING!

Ted Cedar: “Levitt steals it! Icon just showed just how tough he is, but the numbers were too much!”

Joey Miles: “I give Icon all the credit in the world for kicking out of that Dragon Suplex, Ted. But Levitt wasn't going to be denied tonight, and it showed.”

Ted Cedar: “Definitely. The Asylum came tonight t---Oh what the hell are they doing now?”

And back in the ring, Summers has climbed in and walked over to Icon. The referee is checking on him, but Summers just grabs the referee by the back of the head and tosses him from the ring! Summers now turns back to Icon, dragging the hall of Famer up by his hair, and pulling him into a Full Nelson. Levitt now steps forward, slapping Icon across the face a couple of times to get his attention and then starts yelling at him, before taking a step back, bowing his head....then raises it and SPITS A FIREBALL straight into Icon's face! Icon starts screaming as LJ lets him go, The Hall of Famer scrambling at the mat and clutching at his burning face, while Levitt and Summers stand tall over him for a moment before walking away. Icon has become just another victim of The Asylum. The first of Many.

Ted Cedar: “BY GAWD! BY GAWD! Icon just got fireballed!”

Joey Miles: “The Asylum wanted to send a message to the rest of XWA. I think that message has been well and truly sent!”

M8. Travis Levitt vs. Xtreme Icon Empty
PostSubject: Re: M8. Travis Levitt vs. Xtreme Icon   M8. Travis Levitt vs. Xtreme Icon EmptySun Jul 20, 2014 12:09 am

The show comes back to the arena as Travis Levitt stands in the middle of the ring, awaiting his opponent. Wearing black boots, long tights with flames up each side, orange knee pads on the outside of the tights and elbow pads also colored orange.

American Badass hits the arenas sound system. Several Bright spotlights scan the arena for several seconds before converging on one spot in the arena, there stands the Xtreme Icon, holding the familiar weapon he’s known for. He raises it over his head and the crowd pops. He turns around to pull a beer from his pocket opens and chugs it, he tosses his hat into the crowd then slams the can into his head. Cutting himself open before he starts to walk to the ring.

Watts: Hailing from Great Falls, Montana weighing in at 240 pounds, he’s the Toughest King in XWA and a Hall of Famer The Xtreme Icon!!!!!!!!1

Miles: He’s back, now you fans can stop emailing, and calling and bothering the COO

Cedar: The fans have a voice, they are the ones who pay our paychecks.

Miles: These fans don’t know what they want! Once Icon wins…. IF he wins the world title, they will turn on him.

He makes it to the guard rail and grabs a chair from a nearby fan and sets it by the guard rail, he uses it a step ladder to set up to the guard rail. He holds his cane over his head for a few seconds before dropping to the floor, then starts walking by the announce table.

Cedar: He looks to be in great shape, Icon didn’t stay away from the gym in his time away from the ring.

Miles: Oh who cares? Everybody trains, everybody goes to the gym in that locker room, he’s nothing special.

Icon slams the cane into the table and glares at Miles. Before looking at Travis in the ring, who hasn’t taken his eyes off Icon for one second, nor did his new bodyguard LJ Summers. Icon walks around the ring, sizing up his adversary for the night. Icon jumps up onto the apron faces the fans and holds his cane over his head. When The Dragon throws a hard elbow strike to the back of Icons head, who falls to the floor, Levitt quickly gets out and follows up with a European uppercut as Icon turns around. As Summers leaves the ring Travis hits a knife edge chop followed by a spinning back fist. Icon stumbles back into the guard rail. Levitt charges forward but Icon throws a huge forearm shot knocking Levitt backwards but he manages to stay on his feet. Icon grabs Levitt by the arm and tries to irish whip him into the steel ring steps, but gets countered and takes a hard shot shoulder first instead.

Cedar Travis Levitt taking it to Icon before the bell even rang! We don’t even have a legal match at this point!

Miles: Icon should not have turned his back on his opponent; it’s his own damn fault.

Icon starts to stand up as Levitt makes his way over to him. Icon throws a hard right hook to the midsection, doubling over The Dragon. He throws a left hook into the gut then stands up and grabs Travis by the head and slams it into the ring apron. Icon then picks Levitt up over his head in a press slam and then drops him face first into the steel ring steps.

Cedar: Levitt man handled onto those steps.

Miles: Jack Hammer had better get these guys back in the ring, Icon will fight all over the arena if given the opportunity.

Icon grabs Levitt by the head and rolls him back into the ring, Referee Jack Hammer checks on Travis as he rolls away from the ropes. Icon climbs up to the ring apron and grabs the top rope. He launches himself up to the top rope, not realizing Summers walked behind him. Grabbing his ankle causing Icon to crash across the top rope throat first. Fans very loudly booing the blatant interference with the ref caught out of position. Icon grabs the top rope and lands on the apron and rolls into the ring as the bell rings The Dragon swarms on Icon throwing several quick and accurate stomps into Icons shoulder before rolling Icon on his back and pinning his arm behind him. Levitt cranks Icons arm trying to tear it out of his socket.

Cedar: Off the interference Travis Levitt has the advantage.

Miles: Hey the ref didn’t see it, Icons fault he didn’t check his surroundings.

Cedar: Icons fault?! He didn’t come for a handicap match, this is between him and Levitt.

Levitt sits down on Icons lower back, pinning his hand between Icons back and him. Then locks in a variation of the camel clutch. Pulling back on Icons chin as hard as he can.

Miles: He’s got Icon right where he wants him.

Cedar: I don’t think I have seen a camel clutch applied like that.

Miles: He’s tearing at Icons bad shoulder, as he tries to rip his head off! I love it!

Cedar: Icon does have a bad shoulder, it was hurt when he was viciously run down last year.

Levitt yells at Icon to tap. When he doesn’t he lets go of the hold. Icon lays on the mat holding the back of his neck, fans booing as Levitt contemplates his next move. Quickly he soccer kicks Icon in the ribs, Icon rolls onto his back, and Dragon continues his attack on Icons arm with a armbar. He pins Icon on the mat, one leg across his face the other across his chest, as he tries pulls on the arm, Icon starts to roll towards Travis, before he could get the hold sinched in fully. He overpowers Levitt, still trying desperately to get the hold in. Icon gets to his feet with Travis still holding on, Icon throws several shots to the ribs before Levitt tries to lock in a triangle choke. Icon counters that by over powering his foe and picks him up on his shoulders and runs to the corner and powerbombs Levitt into it. Icon walks away from Levitt.

Cedar: What power shown by the Hall of Famer!

Miles: A regular powerbomb is bad enough, but to get thrown in the corner like that, Is a good way to snap your neck. I wouldn’t be shocked If that is what Icon was going for.

Cedar: Icon isn’t malicious; he’s not the type to end someone’s career, just to get a win. He has a vicious side yes, but not the level of permanent injury.

Icon turns around as Levitt gets to his feet. HE charges forward hitting a running clothesline following that up with an irish whip into the ropes, as Levitt rebounds off and runs back, Icon leaps into the air with a pinpoint accurate dropkick to The Dragons jaw, with a resounding smack resulting from the meeting of foot to face. Levitt hits the mat as Icon stands up with a big smirk on his face and the fans chanting Icons name.

Cedar: Icon hasn't lost a step in the last few months. He might have cracked Levitts Jaw with that shot.

Miles: Oh look, Icon can hit a dropkick, not impressed. Levitt has a finisher Icon knows quite well.

Cedar: He has his own version of the Superkick and Tazmission, I think Levitt modeled his repertoire after Icon in a way.

Icon leaps into the air and.drops an elbow to The Dragons sternum before going for a cover. Jack Hammer is right there and gets to one before Levitt gets his shoulder up.

Miles: Why anyone would model themeselves after this guy is beyond me.

Cedar: It's been very successful for him. Former King of Xtreme, and Hall of Famer, Icon has so many.weapons in his arsenal he can beat you from anywhere.

Icon stands up and grabs Levitt by the head and pulls him up to his feet, throws a hard knee to the midsection before tossing through the ropes out to the floor near the entrance ramp. Icon yells "Time to fly!" before hitting the ropes behind him and hitting full speed and leaping over the top rope with a half flip. Landing back first on top of Levitt, fans chant holy shit as the show cuts to a full screen replay.

Cedar: Look at this, Icon gets some serious hangtime on this dive

Miles: again taking stupid chances just to appease these fans.

Cedar: You are probably Icons second biggest hater.

Miles: second biggest? Who's first?

Cedar: The guy that hit Icon with a car.

Icon is the first to feet and quickly grabs Levitt by the head and rolls him back into the ring, as Levitt rolls away he looks over at Summers who is standing by the guardrail. Icon climbs up to the apron as Travis gets to his feet Icon launches himself up to the top rope then leaps off with a huge backflip, tucking his legs in as he rotates. As he finishes the rotation, the thrusts his feet out and right into Levitts chest, to a huge pop from the crowd.

Cedar: Shooting star dropkick! One of Icons trademark moves!

Miles: And these fans eat it up, jeez just fly around the ring and you get over.

Icon quickly goes for a cover, this time getting two before Travis gets his shoulder up. Icon gets to his feet and pulls his foe up as well. He irish whips him into the ropes and as Travis rebounds back towards Icon , he hits a running forearm smash, knocking Icon back into the ropes, the 2011 King of Xtreme holds his jaw as he looks at Levitt.
“Ok kid, gloves are off now, give me your best shot,” He says. Levitt charges Icon, who ducks down and lifts him over the top rope Icon turns around and eats a stiff left hand, knocking him back. He then slingshots himself into the ring, into a cross body and lands right on Icon, he tries to get aa cover but Icon quickly gets his shoulder up.

Cedar: Icon didn’t waste time in getting that shoulder up.

Miles: Yeah, you will have to do more than that to get Icon down for a three count. He’s too stupid to know when to give up.

Levitt grabs Icon and pulls him up to his feet. He grabs him in a front face lock and hit6s a swift, snap suplex. Quickly standing up and daring Icon to get to his feet. He does, as he holds his back. Levitt charges in and hits a rolling wheel kick. Knocking Icon to the mat, he swiftly locks in a single leg crab.

Cedar: Half Boston Crab! The Richmond Raider is trying to take Icons wheels out!

Miles: I think that’s the leg he hurt last year when he got ran down. Travis Levitt is smart, he’s trying to ground Icon and keep him from flying around the ring.

Icon pushes himself up off the mat ans starts to drag himself towards the ropes. Inch by inch he dragsn himself towards the break. He manages to grab the top rope and refree JAck Hammer calls for the break

1................2...................3.......................4.............(Travis lets go)

Jack Hammer gets right in his face admonishing him for not breaking the hold. Travis yells back "I have till 5!" As Icon lays across the bottom rope LJ Summers his a huge right hook to Icons jaw behind the refree. Fans very loudly voicing their displeasure at the blantant cheapshot.

Cedar: That’s the second time Summers getting involved!

Miles: I didn’t see anything, my monitor went out.

Cedar: You monitor went out my ass…. Your BRAIN WENT OUT!!!!!

Icon rolls away from the ropes as Levitt backs up to the corner. He stalks Icon and waits for him to get to his feet. Slowly Icon stands up. As he does, Levitt goes for the Flaming Foot kick, Icon ducks and Jack Hammer gets hit with the kick. He rolls out of the ring. As Levitt says “shit” Visibly frustrated.

Miles: What a coward Icon let Jack Hammer take the kick!

Cedar: What was he supposed to do? Get his head knocked off?! Besides he had no idea Hammer was behind him!

Icon runs back to the corner and waits for Levitt to turn around as he does. Icon charges forward and drives his shoulder right into the midsection of Levitt and nails the devastating spear. LJ Summers jumps up to the apron and yells at Icon Icon stands up and runs at Summers, leaps into the air, cocks his fist back and nails Summers with a Superman Punch.

Cedar: Superman Punch!

Miles: When has Icon ever done that?!

As Ryu Sanu hits the ring, Icon quickly climbs up to the top rope and leaps off flipping forward 180 degrees landing back first on The Dragons chest quickly he rolls over and hooks both legs as Sanu counts

1……..2…….3!!!!!!

The bell rings and Icon stands up with his theme playing

Watts: The winner of the match by pinfall The Xtreme Icon!!!!!
