DING! DING! DING!

The bell rings and both Levitt and Michaels immediately start moving towards the center. There's no pre-match attempt at a psych out, no circling of the wagons. Instead both men meet at the center of the ring with a collar-and-elbow tieup. Levitt is quick to use his height advantage to yank Michaels down into a side-headlock, but the veteran instinctively yanks his head out from under Levitt's arm and slaps on a hammerlock. Levitt pivots left and goes right, reversing Michaels grip and gripping The Showstealer in a hammerlock. Michaels tries to reverse it again, but Levitt yanks up higher on the hammerlock stopping the attempted reversal from Michaels. David grins a little, before trying to squirm left out of Levitt's grip, and when The Dragon goes to step forward again to block it, Michaels drops and yanks Levitt forward into a hiptoss to break the hold. Levitt springs up and turns back, darting back in to try and capture the momentum again, but The Showstealer is quicker, catching Levitt with an armdrag. Again Levitt springs to his feet and turns back to face Michaels.....and quickly dives from the ring as Michaels dances in, getting the hell out of dodge before he eats an STS! Levitt backs away quickly, breathing heavily as he stares in at Michaels who holds up his thumb and index finger, letting Levitt know he was that close to eating it!

Ted Cedar: “Michaels is trying to give Levitt some Shattered Teeth early tonight!”

Joey Miles: “That's the warning shot, Ted. That's Michaels finding himself a nice cosy home inside Levitt's head by letting him know it'll be just that quick to finish him tonight.”

On the outside, Levitt walks around a little, rolling his arms and neck and taking a few deep breaths to get himself focused again. After a few moments, Levitt comes back to the apron, rolling in under the bottom rope and climbing to his feet, keeping a firm grip on the ropes as the referee stands between Michaels and Levitt. The Showstealer just stares cross-eyed at the referee for a moment, getting a laugh from the crowd, but when Levitt lets go of the ropes and starts towards Michaels, The Showstealer quickly turns towards Levitt, and as The Dragon reaches him, Michaels catches him with another armdrag, sending Levitt crashing to the mat once more! The Dragon bounces up and spins back to face Michaels, who greets him with a chop to the chest. The Showstealer unleashes a second and third knife edge chop to back Levitt up, before grabbing The Dragon by the arm and whipping him across the ring. As Levitt comes back, Michaels meets him in the center of the ring, lifting Levitt up, and then dropping him down on his outstretched knee with an atomic drop. Levitt hops up and down on the spot for a few moments, grasping at his crotch, while The Showstealer seizes his chance to run back into the ropes, and then comes flying at Levitt and drills him with the Flying Forearm Smash, knocking the Fireball Fanatic down! Michaels rolls over, and an instant later Kansas comes unglued as Michaels kips up. The Showstealer is feeling it now, and he backs off a few paces towards the corner and starts slapping his leg, waving at Levitt to get up.

Ted Cedar: “He's going for it again! Michaels is looking to have an early night tonight, and send Levitt home to the Tooth Fairy!”

Joey Miles: “I think Nova's on instructions to get Michaels home early tonight. Apparently Sugar needs some Sugar.”

Nova starts slapping the apron  as well, obviously looking forward to Michaels having an easy night in the ring so she can have a long night outside of it, and Kansas starts stomping their feet in anticipation. Levitt rolls over, pushing himself up slowly with his back to Michaels, before reaching up and grabbing the rope near the far corner. Michaels slips in closer, still tapping his foot impatiently as he watches Levitt push up on wobbly legs. Levitt steps away from the corner, turning towards Michaels....who takes two steps in and throws the boot..........but Levitt moves on instinct, ducking to the side and out of the flight-path. Michaels stumbles a few steps forward, finally managing to stop himself in the corner. The Showstealer turns back towards Levitt.....and The Dragon charges forward, dives, and clips Michaels' knee, sending The Showstealer crashing down on his face. Levitt isn't done though, sliding out of the ring, and reaching back in to grab Michaels by his ankles, and with a roar he yanks The Showstealer back and wishbones him on the ringpost!

Ted Cedar: “Ooohhh!!! Michaels has just been crotched on that steel ring post!”

Joey Miles: “Nova! NOVA! I think Michaels needs you to kiss the boo-boo!”

With the referee admonishing Levitt for the cheap shot, Nova starts trying to circle the ring to get nearer to Levitt, but The Dragon spots her coming and points her out to the referee. The official stops yelling at Levitt long enough to walk over to Nova and asking her to back away. The Wildcat doesn't seem to happy to do so, instead choosing to keep on her path towards Levitt. The referee, seeing no other options, hops out of the ring to get in Nova's way, and demand The Sexual Equaliser back away. Unfortunately for Nova, arguing with the referee actually hurts Michaels more, as with the ref's back turned, Levitt manages to snatch a chair out from under the apron, line the shot up, and then swing the chair forward, slamming it onto Michaels knee and crunching it between the steel of the post and the chair! Nova's eyes can only widen in horror, and she starts demanding the referee turn around, but by the time the ref turns back around, Levitt has dropped the chair and instead just holds Michaels by one of his ankles. Yanking Michaels leg back, The Dragon whips it forward, slamming Michaels knee into the steel. Nova finally backs away entirely, going to the corner furtherest from Levitt and Michaels, and the referee climbs back in the ring, in time to see Levitt slam Michaels knee into the ringpost for a second time, stepping away to hop up onto the apron, backing up to the adjacent corner. The Fireball Fanatic is gathering steam now, and after a moments pause he takes two steps forward, dives, and nails a baseball slide right into Michaels knee, again crushing it against the steel!

The Dragon hops off the apron for a moment, a sick grin on his face as he stares out at the Kansas crowd that is starting to firmly jeer the XWA newcomer. Sneering just the once, Levitt turns and rolls back into the ring, his focus back on The Showstealer who has managed to drag himself out of the corner, and is now clutching at his targeted knee in pain. Levitt watches Michaels for a moment, but isn't stupid enough to give The Showstealer too much time to recover, instead choosing to snatch Michaels by the ankle of his wounded leg, and drag him back to the center of the ring. Levitt raises Michaels sore leg, but only momentarily before turning and dropping an elbow on the hurting knee. Levitt quickly scrambles back to his feet, and promptly drops another elbow on Michaels wounded knee. Levitt climbs back to his feet again, and now raises Michaels leg, grabbing it by the ankle and pulling hard on The Showstealers leg to stretch it fully before stepping forward, flipping over Michaels, and yanking Michaels leg down with him, hyper-extending the wounded man's knee even more. Levitt is quick to get back to his feet, and like a lion circling a limping zebra, The Dragon now circles around Michaels who has rolled onto his stomach and is stretching out trying to reach the ropes to get himself a brief reprieve. Levitt gives him a moment, letting The Sexiest Man That Ever Lived believe he may even get that break, before Levitt grabs him by the ankle and drags him back to the center of the ring. The Dragon chooses to exacerbate the damage, by rolling Michaels over, hooking his wounded leg, and turning him over into a Single Leg Crab in the center of the ring!

Ted Cedar: “The Dragon now has Michaels in that single-leg crab, and this match has slowed right down, Joey.”

Joey Miles: “Yeah it has. And I that's working to Levitt's advantage in a big way. Michaels feeds off the crowds cheers, and the crowds energy. So long as Levitt controls the tempo, he keeps the fans out of the equation.”

Levitt pulls back on Michaels wounded leg, The Showstealer grinding his teeth and clawing at the mat in the center of the ring. The Showstealer stretches his hand out, trying to reach for the ropes that are still a few feet away from him. Levitt tightens his grip on Michaels' leg, adjusting his stance to add extra height and torque to the wounded knee of The Chin Conductor. Michaels bites his lip, fighting against the pain arching up his leg and pushes down on the mat with both hands, pushing his body up off the ground. Grunting with each inch The Showstealer starts dragging himself across the mat, his eyes on the ropes. Michaels only has one goal in mind and fighting against the pain in his leg, and to the bouncing encouragement of Nova at ringside, The Showstealer drags himself closer and closer....and finally grabs the bottom rope! Topeka roars out loudly, excited to see Michaels get a reprieve, but Levitt doesn't let go! The Referee is instantly in Levitt's face, demanding The Dragon break the hold and starts counting to disqualify him. [ONE.....TWO.....THREE.....FO] And Levitt breaks the hold and steps away, holding on until practically the last possible moment. The Fireball Fanatic doesn't appear apologetic either, instead just looking out at the jeering Topeka crowd and sneers. Turning back towards Michaels, Levitt brushes aside the referee and walks over, grabbing Michaels by his long locks and dragging him to his feet. Levitt slams a knee up into Michaels gut to wind him a little, before grabbing Michaels' wounded leg and bending it in half. Levitt starts to try and lift Michaels up, looking for a shinbreaker, but The Showstealer slams an elbow down on the back of Levitt's head! Michaels fires off a second and third elbow, forcing Levitt to stop trying to lift Michaels and stumble back a few steps. Michaels now goes to kick Levitt in the gut, and The Dragon catches it instinctively, before his eyes widen in shock, but it's too late as Michaels spins around and drills Levitt with an Enziguri to the back of his head!

Ted Cedar: “Michaels with the Enziguri! If he can get to his feet, he can take control right here!”

Joey Miles: “Now we find out just how much damage Levitt's done to that knee. Michaels NEEDS to be quick here, that enziguri won't keep The Dragon down for long.”

Michaels starts climbing to his feet, but the damage to his knee does slow him down, and The Showstealer has to use the ropes to drag himself up, so when he turns back around he sees Levitt stumbling up as well. The Man They Came To See turns to Topeka and raises an arm, clenching his fist to fight off the pain before he runs across the ring and takes Levitt down with a Clothesline! Michaels stumbles a little as he hits the ropes, but he turns as quick as he can, The Showstealer starting to feel the energy from the crowd. When Levitt stumbles up again, Michaels charges over and takes him back down with another Clothesline, and again turns quicker the adrenaline flowing now and numbing the pain. Levitt is slow to stumble up again, but he does get up, and this time he's taken down by Michaels with a Running Crossbody. The Showstealer hooks a leg in a vain attempt at the finish.

[ONE.....T-NO!!]

Levitt kicks out at two. Michaels climbs back to his feet, reaching down to rub at the sides of his sore knee, before he watches Levitt climb up. Michaels waits for the perfect moment and then charges forward and leaps up, wrapping his legs around Levitt's neck for a Hurricarana. Michaels flips his body back, looking for the Hurricarana....but Levitt adjusts his footing and leaves Michaels dangling from his shoulders. The Dragon now drops Michaels down slowly, letting The Showstealer touch the mat before Levitt releases one leg, and then steps over Michaels, and locks his bad leg back into the Single Leg Crab! Michaels grasps at his hair in frustration as he feels his knee being tormented and stretched again, and Kansas can do little but groan in frustration as Levitt cuts Michaels comeback short. The Dragon, for his part, just has a cocky grin on his face, as he looks out at Topeka, knowing that he's in control once more. At ringside Nova circles around to the side David is facing and starts slapping the mat, demanding The Showstealer fight through the pain to reach the ropes.

Ted Cedar: “Michaels is back in that single leg crab. His knee is being worked over with an almost zen-like focus buy The Dragon!”

Joey Miles: “Michaels showed off his big gun early. He tried to shatter Levitt's teeth twice. Now The Dragon is taking away Michaels' most potent weapon, and doing a damn good job of it.”

Michaels starts trying to push up off the mat again, The Showstealer again looking to drag himself to the ropes, but Levitt adjusts his grip, now pushing his own knee into the back of Michaels' thigh and pulling back harder on the leg of The Chin Conductor, straining the knee even more. Michaels grinds his teeth, but keeps pushing himself up off the mat, stretching his hand out for the ropes that are too far away from him. The Showstealer starts trying to drag himself towards the ropes, but with Levitt pressing his knee into the back of Michaels thigh he can only get an inch or so forward before collapsing back down. The Showstealer tucks his head in, fighting to ignore the pain in his knee, as he takes a few deep breaths, before he looks out to see Nova standing at ringside in front of him, slapping the apron and demanding David gets his wimpy ass over to her. Michaels looks over and scowls at The Wildcat but then presses his hands against the mat and with a loud grunt The Showstealer pushes off the mat and starts dragging himself back to the ropes. Levitt tries to clamp down on Michaels leg some more and stop The Showstealer in his tracks, but nothing can stop Michaels now as he drags himself the last few inches, and then throws a hand out and again grabs the bottom rope. Just like earlier though, Levitt refuses to break the hold, and once again the referee is in Levitt's face to count. [ONE.....TWO.....THREE.....FO] And then Levitt breaks the hold and stands up, taking a couple of steps away from Michaels. Nova walks over to Michaels trying to help her client out, but Levitt is back there a moment later, grabbing Michaels by the leg to drag him away, and demands the referee get Nova to back off. The Wildcat flips Levitt off to a roar from Topeka, but does step away before she gets Michaels disqualified.

Levitt takes Michaels over to the far ropes and props Michaels' ankle on the bottom rope. The Dragon presses his foot down on Michaels ankle, keeping the sore leg of The Showstealer in place before Levitt bounces up, and then lands with his ass, crashing down right on the top of Michaels wounded knee. Levitt stays sitting for a moment, putting extra pressure on Michaels knee before Levitt stands up, leaps again, and once more lands sitting down on Michaels knee. The Dragon has zoned in on the knee now, each action aiming to cause added damage to Michaels leg and take away the most dangerous move in The Showstealer's arsenal. Levitt adjusts himself for a moment longer, knowing every extra moment on Michaels knee adds to the damage, and then yanks himself up again....and Michaels quickly rears back with his loose leg and kicks Levitt square in the ass  cheeks, sending The Dragon tumbling out between the ropes and crashing to ringside! Topeka starts cheering, trying to energise Michaels again, as The Showstealer rolls away from the ropes and reaches down to grasp at his sore knee. Michaels rolls over to the corner, reaching up to grab at the ropes and drag himself up, while on the outside Levitt gets back up! The Dragon shakes off the impact damage and then glances in the ring at Michaels who has managed to drag himself back up and is reaching down to adjust his knee pads, and unfortunately has his back to Levitt. The Dragon smiles at his chance, circling the ring and then charging forward, diving in under the bottom rope, and clipping Michaels bad leg, sending The Showstealer crashing down again!

Ted Cedar: “Michaels found himself with a reprieve, but it was only a momentary one, and Levitt is back attacking that leg again!”

Joey Miles: “He's making Michaels the one legged man in an ass-kicking contest. It's beautiful to watch. Anyone got some popcorn?”

Levitt now grabs The Showstealer by his bad leg, once more dragging him back to the center of the ring. The Dragon has a plan in mind here, and he lets Topeka know exactly what is on his mind with a loud WOOOO. It's time for Michaels to go to school, as Levitt twists around and then drops back, locking Michaels in the Figure Four Leglock! Michaels pushes up off the mat, his eyes wide as he feels his knee being bent and pulled at the same time, the figure four adding even more strain to the wounded knee. Michaels collapses back onto the mat, pivoting his body to keep a shoulder off the mat at all times, while Levitt leans back some more, gripping Michaels ankle and pulling down on The Showstealers ankle to stretch out Michaels leg more, and add even more stress to Michaels knee. The Chin Conductor sits back up now, shaking his head No at the ref', as the official keeps asking Michaels if he wants to quit. Collapsing back down Michaels stretches his arms out, looking to try and grab the ropes, but Levitt has them almost perfectly in the center, leaving Michaels stranded. The Showstealer collapses onto his back again, both his shoulders on the mat and the referee drops and starts counting.

[ONE.....TWO-NO!!]

Michaels throws a shoulder up, his fist clenched in defiance. At ringside, Nova turns around, waving the fans on trying to get Topeka roaring for The Showstealer. Topeka answers the call with enthusiasm, quiet at first, but building momentum with each row that gets behind it, until finally the Landon Arena is almost shaking with seven thousand fans chanting SHOW - STEAL – ER! SHOW - STEAL – ER! SHOW – STEAL – ER! Levitt looks around at each side of the crowd, screaming out NO! NO! Shut Up! It's OVER!...and Michaels sits up, his eyes wide and a fire can be seen burning behind them. Levitt shakes his head again, but Michaels spreads both his arms waving the fans on, as he feeds from the energy, he pain in his leg deadening slowly Kansas shows The Showstealer just how much they love him. Michaels starts rocking left and right, trying to turn the Figure Four, with The Dragon shaking his head the entire time, telling Michaels he can't do it. Michaels swings right, getting himself and Levitt both off the mat, The Showstealer coming inches from flipping the figure four....and Levitt drops backwards, trying to pull back on Michaels' ankle to stop his momentum, but it's too little too late as Michaels pulls back and then swings his body left, the added momentum sending him and Levitt over, and reversing the pain into Levitt's legs! Now it's The Dragon's turn to scream in pain, as Topeka roars out it's approval, happy to see Michaels turn the tables on the man that has been targeting his leg all match.

Ted Cedar: “Michaels reversed the figure four! He's not done for yet! No matter what The Dragon might think!”

Joey Miles: “This ain't Oz, Ted. Michaels won't be able to click his heels together three times and wish for a new leg. All this is, is a brief reprieve before The Dragon takes back over.”

Ted Cedar: “That may happen, but right now its Levitt's legs in danger, not Michaels!”

Indeed in the center of the ring, Levitt is screaming in pain, but manages to break the figure four after a few pain-wracked moments. Levitt rolls closer to the ropes, reaching up to grab at the middle rope to help himself up, while in the middle of the ring Michaels just rolls onto his back. Levitt pulls himself up slowly, grabbing the top rope to get himself up on his feet...and in the center of the ring, Michaels kips up! The Showstealer stumbles on his still sore leg a little, but stays standing, and as Levitt turns around, he's greeted by a Knife Edge chop from The Chin Conductor. Michaels is running on his adrenaline now, and he fires off a second and third chop to Levitt's chest, the sickening sound of flesh meeting flesh echoing out to the cheap seats, while The Dragon's chest starts going as red as his fireballs. Michaels grabs Levitt by the arm and goes to whip him across the ring, but mid-Irish Whip Levitt puts on the brakes and yanks Michaels backwards, catching The Showstealer in a Full Nelson. Levitt adjusts his feet and drops backwards, trying to drive Michaels into the mat with a Dragon Suplex, but Michaels flips out in mid-air and lands on his feet! Levitt scrambles back up quickly, but as he reaches his feet Michaels leaps up, hooks Levitt's head, and drives The Dragon face-first into Michaels knees with The Heartbreaker! Levitt bounces backwards, collapsing to the mat on his back and not moving, but Michaels can't take advantage as he is rolling around clutching at his wounded knee!

Ted Cedar: “Michaels needs to go for the pin! Levitt is down! If The Showstealer can get an arm over him, this match could be over!”

Joey Miles: “But he can't Ted! The fucking idiot brought Levitt down on that knee! He's made it worse!”

Nova screams in the ring at Michaels, trying to get The Showstealer's attention, and he finally stops rolling around long enough to look at her, and she points to the corner. Michaels nods, and rolls towards the corner, using the ropes to drag himself up, before laying his head on the top turnbuckle. Catching his breath, The Chin Conductor looks back at Levitt, seeing The Dragon finally start to move, but the blank look in Levitt's eyes show that his body is moving on automatic right now, there's still no lights on in the house. Michaels steps out a little and to a roar from Topeka he waits until Levitt is up and then charges over, leaps up, and catches Levitt with the Flying Forearm Smash, knocking him back down. The Dragon is once again laid out in the center of the ring, but again Michaels doesn't go for the pin, instead rolling onto his back and kipping back up! Michaels stumbles on getting up, but manages to stumble over to the corner, and with Levitt still down and not moving, The Man They All Came To See raises his boot, and then stomps on the mat, as Topeka roars, ready to listen to the Symphony. Nova is all smiles on the outside, slapping the apron in time with Michaels' boot as The Chin Conductor keeps stomping, wincing with the first few until the adrenaline really starts flooding in, and then he's stomping with no signs of pain, his eyes fully on The Dragon as he sits up and starts pushing his battered body up. After so many shots to the head, Levitt is still moving almost like a zombie, but that plays perfectly into Michaels' hands as The Showstealer keeps stomping, adding speed to each stomp until finally, as Levitt pushes up fully, Michaels dances in.......Levitt turns......Michaels fires off another STS.....and again Levitt ducks under the foot, and this time spins around, catches Michaels off-guard as he stumbles, and lifts Michaels up, driving him into the mat with an ARKHAM SLAM! Michaels crashes into the mat hard, getting laid out by the Arkham Slam, but it still takes Levitt a moment to roll over and drape his weary body over Michaels for a pin.

[ONE.....TWO.....T-NO!!]

Ted Cedar: “BY GAWD! BY GAWD! MICHAELS HAS KICKED OUT! THERE IS LIFE LEFT IN THE SHOWSTEALER YET!”

Joey Miles: “What more does Levitt need to do? He's already shown he can't be kicked, but Michaels STILL refuses to stay down!”

Ted Cedar: “He's fighting for the World Title at the PPV, Joey. He doesn't want to lose the momentum. But from that look in The Dragon's eyes, I think Michaels should be happy if he MAKES the PPV.”

Indeed Levitt has slowly pushes up onto his knees, and is looking at the ref in shock, holding up three fingers, but the ref keeps showing two and taps his shoulder, letting Levitt know Michaels got a shoulder up at two. The Dragon shakes his head now, getting to his feet, and looking down at Michaels who is slowly trying to sit up, but not getting far. Levitt finally stalks over to Michaels' legs and grabs The Chin Conductor by both ankles. Levitt steps between Michaels' legs, and then crosses them over, readying Michaels for the sharpshooter that Levitt calls the Levy Lock! Levitt takes a moment though to flip off Michaels, screaming at The Showstealer that he's done for...and Michaels roars out, summoning up his last ounce of strength to pull back with his legs and then kick out, sending Levitt stumbling backwards and crashing face-first into the corner turnbuckles! The Richmond Raider stumbles back a step or two trying to shake off the cobwebs, as behind him Michaels kips up once more! The Showstealer is feeling it now, hearing the music in his head, and he throws off a crotch chop at Levitt's back, and when The Dragon finally stumbles backwards and turns around, he FINALLY gets drilled with the SHATTERED TEETH SYMPHONY Levitt drops like a chopped down Christmas Tree, crashing to the mat as Kansas cheers loudly, sensing the end is near....but Michaels kicked with the bad leg, and has collapsed himself, clutching at the knee. Michaels is screaming in pain himself, while at ringside Nova is slapping the mat, trying to get The Showstealer to crawl over and pin Levitt. Michaels finally manages to roll himself over, crawling slowly towards Levitt. Michaels reaches Levitt's ankles, pulling himself up using Levitt's body until he's only a few inches from covering Levitt.......

Ted Cedar: “NO! NO! HITMAN ALEX IS OUT HERE! MICHAELS WAS JUST MOMENTS FROM PINNING LEVITT! WHAT IS HE DOING HERE!”

Joey Miles: “Returning the favour, Ted! Last week Alex was all set to finish Levitt off when Michaels sauntered out. This time Alex is out to stop Michaels the same way Michaels stopped him.”

And indeed out onto the entrance stage walks Hitman Alex, dressed in his yellow and gold shirt and tights, the XWA Championship Belt over his shoulder. Mr. Center of Attention leans his head back, a cocky grin in place as he stares in at Michaels who is looking out at Alex. The World Champion starts to pace down the ramp, his eyes boring into Michaels, but he doesn't even get halfway down the ramp when the referee climbs out of the ring and gets into Alex's way. The official starts demanding Hitman Alex leave, but The Champion pleads his innocence, proclaiming he only came to scout his opponent. Michaels pulls himself up in the ring, using the ropes, and leans out over them waving Alex on, still ready to fight even on one bad leg. With the referee otherwise distracted, at ringside Nova grins evilly reaching down and picking up a chair and climbing into the ring. She grips the chair in both hands and starts sizing up The Dragon as he climbs up, Levitt still seeing stars from the the STS, and he pushes up slowly......

Nova adjusts her grip.....

Levitt stands up fully......

Nova swings with all her might......

AND LEVITT DUCKS! The Dragon dives aside from the swing, and instead Nova brings the chair down on the head of The Showstealer, who had just turned away from the ropes! Michaels stands tall for a moment, his body taking a second to realise that steel has connected with his skull before he collapses down on his face, and The Wildcat can only stand there in shock for a long few seconds as a gasp reverberates around the arena. Nova finally gets back to her senses and turns to face Levitt....AND GETS A FIREBALL TO THE FACE!! Nova screams in pain, dropping the chair as the flames eat at her skin, before she drops to the mat and rolls out to ringside.

Ted Cedar: “NO! BY GAWD! NO! NOVA JUST GOT FIREBALLED! That dastardly Levitt has just fireballed Nova!”

Joey Miles: “Hey, Nova stepped into that ring to try and hit Levitt with a chair. Levitt just counter-attacked. Nova brought it onto herself.”

On the entrance ramp Hitman Alex just starts backing away, raising his hands to keep claiming his innocence. The referee watches him go for a few moments, as in the ring Levitt kicks the chair out to ringside, and when the referee turns back to the ring, it's to see Levitt dragging Michaels to the center of the ring and locking The Showstealer in the LEVY LOCK! Michaels is still out-cold from that chair shot, and when the referee slides back in, all he can see is the picture in front of him. An unresponsive Michaels in the Levy Lock, Levitt screaming at the ref to call for the bell, and no sign of foul play anywhere. The referee has no choice but to do his job, and he calls for the bell almost immediately.

DING! DING! DING!

WINNER: Travis Levitt via referee stoppage

Ted Cedar: “NO! Not this way! Not like this! Dammit! Levitt has stolen a win off David Michaels tonight!”

Joey Miles: “It wasn't Levitt's fault. Nova tried to help Michaels, and instead wrapped the chair around his head. But let's take a moment Ted to realise what else just happened. In TWO consecutive weeks Levitt has beaten the Champion AND The Number One Contender!”

Ted Cedar: “Hey now, neither of those wins were exactly earned fairly!”

Joey Miles: “That doesn't matter, Ted! All that matters is that Levitt WON. Whoever walks out of Revolutionary Wars with the title....I'd say they have a Dragon ready to slay.”

Indeed in the ring, Levitt climbs to his feet and raises his arms, basking in the hatred of Kansas, while on the stage Hitman Alex mockingly applauds him. Levitt turns towards Alex, spotting the Champion standing there with the belt and points out at him, before making the belt motion around his own waist. The Dragon is coming for the gold!

[S. 14 | MATCH] David Michaels vs. Travis Levitt Empty
PostSubject: Re: [S. 14 | MATCH] David Michaels vs. Travis Levitt   [S. 14 | MATCH] David Michaels vs. Travis Levitt EmptySun Jul 13, 2014 12:48 pm

(Couple of things. Firstly, this was basically written today and part of last night. I've been out of town all week and only got back last night, so it's rushed as fuck. Apologies if there are stupid grammatical errors, but I haven't got the patience to proof read any of it due to being so tired. The fact I wrote anything is a miracle. Secondly, parts of it refer to a promo booked at the start of the show...however I haven't written any of that whatsoever and Mick hasn't got chance to complete his portion yet. Sooo...the match gives away that DC Hennig joined D-Volution. Suckish way to reveal it, but I can't get the promo done before I can post this...though that will come.)

DING...DING...DING!!!

The bell has rung and the match is under way, as the fans inside the Landon Arena are red hot for this one! They are particularly intrigued after the happening earlier tonight, when David Michaels, JHalc and DC Hennig shocked the World and pulled a swerve over everyone, in particular Hitman Alex as they tricked him into believing that DC would be a thorn in D-Volution's side. Now, as fate would have it, DC Hennig is now in David's corner along with the rest of D-Volution...in fact, they entire group has decided to place themselves on commentary, making it a SIX person commentary team...oh yes.

Cedar:
"Well...errrmmm...I'm not sure we've ever had anything like this, ladies and gentlemen, we are set to be joined by the entire group of D-Volution here on commentary!"

Miles:
"...do we even have enough headsets? If not, just give one to Nova and we'll be fine..."

Cedar:
"I think we just about have enough...but if we are one short, Joey, I'm sure you'll be happy to donate your's?"

Miles:
"Two words - fuck off."

DC:
"Woah...easy on the less than Phenomenal language there, Joey!"

JHalc:
"Yeah, don't fucking swear you piece of shit."

Carnage:
"HA!"

Nova:
"Do my boobs look big in this?!"

DC:
"Nova, your boobs ALWAYS look big no matter what you're wearing..."

Nova:
"Ah. Just checking."

JHalc:
"Why the hell is David facing a dragon?"

Carnage:
"DRAGONS SUCK!"

Nova:
"...so does the rest of the whores in the Divas locker room."

JHalc:
"I almost laughed at that..."

Carnage:
"HAHAHA!"

DC:
"I once a diva. The relationship DRAGged-ON! Get it? DRAGed...ON?! See what I did there? "

Miles:
"What in the mother fucking hell is going on?!"

Cedar:
"I...I...eerrrmmmm...well then."

The obvious distraction is a design aimed to...well...distract Michaels' opponent tonight, whom just so happens to be the individual that beat Hitman Alex last week, Travis Levitt. As JHalc, DC, Carnage and Nova all take their seats (Jay already in a wheelchair) to the right of Ted Cedar, Travis stands next to the corner and talks to the ref, asking if this is actually allowed. Michaels stands in the opposite corner with a gigantic grin on his face, as the ref shrugs his shoulders to Levitt who turns around and looks at the confident Michaels. Levitt shakes his head, not best pleased about this, as Michaels becomes even more arrogant and lifts himself onto the top turnbuckle, resting his body across the ropes either side. Levitt doesn't take too kindly to this and decides to charge towards him, at full speed.

Levitt isn't entirely sure what he's going for, but knows he want to hurt Michaels, so just launches himself forwards. As quick as a cat, Michaels leaps off the ropes and flips straight over Levitt's six foot four frame and quickly rolls him up in a Sunset Flip.

1..
Levitt shoots out of the pin!

Travis kicks out almost in record time and the pair dash to their feet. Levitt then, furious he was caught out, looks for a Clothesline, but wildly misses and Michaels catches the other arm, lifts his body up and traps his legs around the flailing one. He pulls back and rolls to the floor, capturing Levitt in a Crucifix Pin.

1..
2..
Kickout!

Levitt powerfully kicks out of the pin, yet again, and scrambles to his feet. Michaels does the same, but is a fraction slower to his feet, and Levitt tries to take advantage for a third time. Hoping that third time is indeed the charm, Travis looks for a hard Knife Edge Chop...but as luck would have it, Michaels manages to somehow duck that too and skips round to the rear of his opponent, hooking the right leg and pulling him back in a Schooboy Pin now!

1...
2...
Kickout!

Levitt forces himself out of yet another pinning predicament! The fans of Michaels begins to cheer, as this is almost becoming rather comical, as Levitt rushes to his feet or a fourth straight time. This time, however, Levitt is a little dizzy after being caught so many times already. Michaels, on the other hand, is fine and gets back to his feet with relative ease and stands near the ropes. Levitt quickly manages to regain his balance and sees the arrogant David Michaels stood on the opposite side of the ring, waving at him. Levitt goes back to what started this whole dilemma to begin with and charges across the ring, wanting to take his head off! But, as is the theme of the match thus far, Michaels drops down to the mat at the last minute and pulls down the top rope, leaving Levitt to go hurtling over the top rope and thudding to the floor below. The XWA Universe gets to their feet and applauds Michaels, who is clearly feeling in a good mood tonight. The Showstealer soaks in the reactions and takes a sarcastic bow, before jumping on the spot and darting to the ropes. Rebounding off them, Michaels uses his pace to run right across the ring and leaps over the top rope, landing on top of Travis with a classic Suicide Dive! Levitt goes tumbling backwards into the security barricade, as Michaels manages to land safely on all fours, before getting back to his feet.

Cedar:
"Levitt sent right to the outside here and he has, thus far, been outsmarted by David Michaels here."

Miles:
"Well if you' know you're having a bad day if you're being outsmarted by David Freakin' Michaels."

DC:
"Hey now, don't underestimate the intelligence of ol' Davey Boy, Joey."

JHalc:
"He's smart enough to hate you..."

Carnage:
"EVERYONE HATES YOU!"

Nova:
"He favourites pictures of my boobs on Twitter. He's not that bad, guys..."

Cedar:
"Well, I certainly don't think Dav--"

DC:
"Oh come on, Nov'! Every male with blood running through his veins favourites those...errrmmm..."

JHalc:
"...big ass titties."

Carnage:
"THEY ARE BIG!"

DC:
"Well I wasn't going to be so abrupt...but yes..."

Nova:
"I'm flattered..."

Cedar:
"SOMETHING...is happening in this contest, I'm sure.."

Miles:
"Wait...I heard titties...I'm confused. What we talking about?"

DC:
"Nothing, Joey..."

JHalc:
"Yeah, shut up, jackass."

Carnage:
"SHUT UP!"

While commentary remains to be...eerrrmmm...whatever the hell that actually is, back in the match the referee has begun making the count out for Levitt on the outside. Michaels has since got back to his feet and has rolled into the ring, resuming his confident position in the corner. The ref reaches the count of five, before Travis starts to get back to his feet. He yells at the ref, not happy he got caught out three times with those pins, before he climbs up the ring steps and back into the ring. Michaels is awaiting him, waving at him on the top rope again. Travis congers up a plan in his mind and charges forwards, almost like a re-run of earlier. Thinking that Levitt must be a blithering idiot, Michaels leaps up off the turnbuckle again and flips over his opponent, grabbing his legs and going for another Sunset Flip! However, Travis may be new to this company, but he's no fool - he rolls back out of the move and straight back up onto his feet, before surging his right foot forwards and cracking Michaels directly in the face! The force sends Michaels' head jolting backwards, whip-lashing off of the bottom turnbuckle. The sound of the kick echoes around the arena and Michaels is actually knocked out momentarily, before Travis grabs a chunk of his long hair and drags him, unwillingly, to his feet. He quickly turns his opponent around, latches onto his waste and throws him over himself with a nicely executed German Suplex! The back of Michaels head hits the mat and his entire body rolls over, until he is face down on the canvas. Travis reaches over, pushing him onto his back, for the Lateral Press.

2....
Shoulder up!

Michaels is barely able to get his left arm off the canvas, as he is still feeling groggy from that kick. As he attempts to sit up, Travis immediately catches him with a Side Headlock. Travis puts extra leverage on the hold, wanting to create an injury early on here and it appears to be working, as Michaels shows little sign of attempting to get out of, what is usually, a simple hold. The fans begin clapping for Michaels, trying to get behind him, but The Showstealer is obviously struggling here and the applause soon deflates back down to just booing Levitt. Eventually Michaels does manage to start getting back up to his feet, albeit without his usual swagger of confidence, and lays in a few Elbows into Levitt's gut. The Dragon's grip is broken and Michaels shakes the cobwebs from his head, before dashing to the ropes as fast as he can. He bounces off and ducks a Clothesline attempts before hitting the opposite set of ropes. Running back in, this time he manages to duck a Back Elbow, before bouncing off the ropes yet again. He runs in for the third time and as Travis turns around, Michaels leaps up into the air and sits on Levitt's shoulders before dropping all his weight backwards, looking for a trademark Hurricanrana. However Levitt is quick to block the move and lifts his opponent back up...before racing backwards and falling back, dropping Michaels head and throat first onto the top rope! Michaels violently is sent flying backwards across the ring and slams into the mat, holding his already hurting head, as his temporary momentum comes crashing to a halt. Levitt reaches over and hooks the far leg.

2....
Shoulder up!

Michaels gets his right shoulder up before the three count, to the delight of the watching audience.

Cedar:
"...only two! Michaels is really struggling here, as Levitt is targeting that head to full affect, Joey."

Miles:
"Well the best strategy this Dragon man can go for is to scramble Michaels head. He's already a sandwich or two short of a picnic, so Levitt going af--"

DC:
"...I once went on a picnic."

JHalc:
"Why wasn't I invited?!"

Miles:
"...eerrrmmm...I was talki--"

DC:
"I didn't know you then!"

JHalc:
"That's no excuse..."

Carnage:
"WAS THE PICNIC IN DC?!"

Nova:
"That's a terrible pun...."

Miles:
"...I was in the middle o---

DC:
"No, Carnage, it was not in DC...just because my name is DC Hennig, doesn't mean I come or go to DC..."

JHalc:
"It would be pretty...PHENOMENAL...if you did, though."

Carnage:
"I FOUND THAT FUNNY!"

Nova:
"You find everything funny..."

Cedar:
"Levitt now, picking Michaels back up to his feet, looking for his next piece of offence."

Miles:
"AS I was saying...Levitt will hopefully continue to knock Michaels sens--"

DC:
"You know, I did go to DC once you know."

JHalc:
"Oh really?!"

Miles:
"GOD FUCKING DAMMIT!! YOU GUYS ARE MORONS!"

DC:
"Woah...easy there, Josephine. Who pissed on your bonfire?!"

JHalc:
"Chill the fuck out, asshole...and I said stop swearing, bitch."

Carnage:
"I DON'T LIKE IT WHEN PEOPLE SWEAR!"

Nova:
"Except when I do it...andddddd excuse me gentlemen. I have work to do!"

With that said, Nova takes off her headset and heads over to the ring, reaching into it and shouting some words of encouragement to Michaels. Levitt argues with the ref, before getting back up to his feet and stands behind Michaels, who is stalling in getting back up to his feet. Levitt holds his arms out wide, looking as though he's going to go for his finisher here - The Dragon Suplex (Full Nelson Suplex)! As he goes to lock in the move, Nova suddenly reaches in and grabs a hold of Michaels leg and gives it a yank, encouraging him to roll out of the move and out of the ring. Travis looks terribly annoyed at the tactics on hand here, as he's accustomed to being the underhanded one himself. The fans, on the other hand, don't particularly care and start a Nova chant as Michaels struggles over to the announce table area, Nova checking he is OK. Travis goes to walk out of the ring, but gets on the apron and thinks twice about it, as both Carnage and DC both stand up and stare at him. Travis shakes his head and complains to the ref, who climbs out of the ring and informs the two members of D-Volution to sit back down. As they do, Travis is quick to take advantage and climbs out of the ring. He then runs forwards, latches onto a chunk of Michaels' hair and drives him face first into the steel ring post! Nova managed to jump out of the way at the last second and sees her long time friend smashed face first into the post. This act brings Carnage and DC out of their seats once again, however this time the pair rip off their headsets and makes their way over to the ring. Levitt is quick to slide back into the ring and uses the ref as a shield, as DC leaps up onto the apron and begins hurling all sorts of insults his way. The ref orders DC to step down off the apron, but he isn't having any of it - of course only D-Volution can play the unfair game in this company!

Cedar:
"Well Travis is certainly playing a smart game here and now he may have just have got D-Volution's attention in this match...not sure if that part is very smart, mind you."

Miles:
"It work's for me purely to get these idiots off off damn commentary."

JHalc, in his wheelchair, wheels himself over towards his tag team partner and, as any loving partner does, gives him a swift kick in the back...and then yells at him to get up. Nova looks at him, wondering if Jay is all there, but id kind of works as David rolls over and slaps Jay's leg away, before pulling himself up using the apron. Once the ref finally gets DC Hennig to get off the apron, Michaels begins to climb up on the adjacent side. As he sticks his head through the ropes, Levitt bursts into action and grabs hold of his head with his left arm and drags him across the middle rope, before dropping him down face first into the apron with a DDT! The crowd boos heavily, as DC turns around dramatically in anger, as Travis hooks the far leg.

1...
2....
Michaels gets his near leg on the bottom rope, which pleases the fans.

Travis sits up and looks at the leg on the bottom rope, as the ref points at it like it was on fire! Nova whacks the ring apron, with the crowd soon following her rhythm with applause. The Dragon gets to his feet and ponders on his next move, before informing DC Hennig that he sucks and reaching down to pick Michaels up via his long hair. Once upright, Levitt stands beside him and wraps Mchaels left arm over his head and holds onto his left thigh with his free right arm. He then lifts Michaels up and looks for his trademark move, The Arkham Slam (Angle Slam). As he does, the crowd roars with cheers as David manages to wriggle out of it in mid air and snaps to the mat, reversing it with a variation of an Armdrag! Levitt rolls across the mat, completely caught off guard with that reversal. Picking himself back up, Levitt races across the ring towards a still groggy Michaels...but Michaels still has the whereabouts to drop to the mat, sliding feet first under the legs of his opponent. Travis, rather comically, looks under his legs wondering where Michaels as gone, while Michaels himself clambers back up to his feet and grabs a hold of the waist of Levitt, before charging him forwards towards the ropes. Michaels goes to bounce him off, into a roll up, but Levitt holds onto the top rope. Michaels rolls backwards, losing his grip of his opponent. Levitt then turns around and jogs towards Michaels, but The Showstealer manages to finally get the upper hand by leaping into the air ans Dropkicking Levitt square in the face. The fans cheer, as Levitt crashes to the mat and Michaels lands on his stomach, taking a few seconds to recover.

Cedar:
"Michaels with a beautiful Dropkick, catching Levitt off guard there. Can he finally get some momentum now Joey?"

Miles:
"Fuck, I hope not."

Michaels then stumbles back up to his feet, as his opponent begins to do the same. Michaels leans in on him and whips him against the ropes, sending him to the opposite set. As Levitt rebounds back in, Michaels ducks down at the last second and lifts him high into the air, dropping him down onto his spine with a Back Body Drop. The fans cheer as Michaels then wanders over to the ropes, climbs out onto the apron and up to the top turnbuckle. DC Hennig applauds such an act, until Levitt gets back up to his feet and walks over to the corner, smacking David right in the face with a right hand. Michaels stumbles back, as Levitt climbs up to the top rope with him. The pair begin to trade right fists, until Levitt gets the best of it and lays in a few clubbing blows to his head with his forearm. Levitt then holds onto Michaels head. He lifts him up entirely onto his feet and looks for a Superplex, but Michaels isn't having it. The former three time XWA World Heavyweight Champion blocks the Superplex attempt the best he can, by just punching Levitt in the ribs, but Levitt just gets mad and hits him in the head. He then lifts Michaels up into the air and looks for the Superplex...but David Michaels shifts his weight in mid-air and manages to reverse the move in a Cross Body Block, slamming Levitt into the mat with a thud! Michaels quickly looks to take advantage by hooking the far leg.

1...
2....
Kickout!

The fans give off a giant groan, as Michaels nearly caught his opponent off guard. Michaels pulls himself back up using the ropes and starts to get his wheels in motion. As Levitt gets back to his feet, Michaels runs towards him and knocks him down with a solid Clothesline. Levitt bounces off the mat and straight back up to his feet, where he is caught by a quick second Clothesline from Michaels. Levitt pops back up again, but is a little slower the second time and once back onto his feet Michaels jumps up into the air, lands on Levitt's shoulders in a seated position and flips backwards. This time the move works and Michaels nails him with the Hurricanrana! Levitt flips to the mat and before he can even think about recovering, Michaels unleashes a flurry of right hands to his temple. The ref gets to a count of three before David lets go and gets back to his feet, looking pretty pissed off now in comparison to the start of this contest.

Cedar:
"...and Michaels looking alllllllllll kinds of fired up here!"

Miles:
"God dammit'. What is this guy's head made of? Freakin' concrete..."

Levitt holds onto his face, not sure what hit him, as Michaels walks over to the corner and motions that this match is all but over to the crowd. He then holds onto the top rope to his left and begins to quickly stomp his right foot into the mat, the entire crowd doing the same, as Nova thumps her hands into the mat too. Levitt slowly clambers back up to his feet and turns around. He spots at the last moment a certain right boot shooting for his face, so he reaches out and grabs it before it can make contact. Then, in the blink of an eye, Levitt, still with the leg in hand, moves round to Michaels side and grabs his arm. He then lifts David Michaels into the air and finally connects with the Arkham Slam (Angle Slam)! The back of Michaels already hurting head hits the mat hard and Levitt is quick to hook the far leg.

1...
2.....
Shoulder up!

The fans cheers, as Michaels shoots his right shoulder up before the count of three! Nova nearly dies on the outside, while DC begins to lose patience yelling things at Carnage. Levitt sits up and looks at the ref, before thumping the mat frustrated that he couldn't keep Michaels down for the three count. Michaels rolls onto his back, holding the back of his head, which has taken the brunt of Levitt's offence in this match. Levitt then takes advantage and stands over his opponent, seating himself down on his back. He pulls him onto all fours and pulls his arm back around his legs, before locking both his hands around his chin and sitting into the hold as much as he can with a Camel Clutch! Nova yells at the ref on the outside that this hold is obviously illegal...when obviously it isn't, but it was worth a try regardless. Michaels' hair is all over his face, as Travis shows he has great match strategy by continually targeting Michaels head area. He yanks back on his head as much as he can, which forces Michaels to respond if he doesn't want his neck broken. So The Showstealer, riddled with pain, manages to push his back upwards and gets back on all fours, before slowly pulling his legs out from under him and getting back up to his feet. Travis keeps hold of his face with both hands, now only able to have a loose Chin Lock held in. Michaels takes a moment to think on what to do, before quickly side stepping around him to behind Levitt, grabs hold of his right leg and lifts him up and drops him down spine first with a Teardrop Suplex! Both men lay on the mat, hurting, as the ref starts his count.

Cedar:
"Michaels able to reverse the Camel Clutch there and now both men are down. You have to believe, which ever one gets to their feet first, will have the advantage in this contest."

Miles:
"Travis has this assbutt covered...that sounded terrible, didn't it?"

Cedar:
"Yes...yes it did."

Miles:
"Good. I'll write that shit down for later..."

The ref is now at the count of six and both men are beginning to stir back up, with Michaels moving himself towards the ropes and leaving Levitt to get up on his own accord. The ref slaps his hands together, as his count is broken and Michaels surges forwards, smacking Levitt in the face with a nice right hand. The fans cheers, only for it to be replaced by boos as soon as Levitt replies with a right of his own. Michaels stumbles back, before hitting him again with another hard right fist. This second shot rocks Levitt, almost knocking him over, but he manages to keep his ground. He then loads up his right hand and hits Michaels twice as hard. So much so, David Michaels is rocked backwards and he bounces off the ropes. Inadvertently, this gives Michaels enough momentum to launch a third right hand and this one knocks Levitt down to the mat. Michaels follows the momentum through and lands on the top rope, leaning over it as DC tells him to win below. He turns around and walks over to a recovering Levitt, grabbing him around the waist and lifting him into the air. He drops him down on his right knee, with an Inverted Atomic Drop. Levitt bounces up and down on the spot before Michaels whips him into the corner. Levitt's spine hits the turnbuckles hard, as Michaels jogs over to the opposite corner. He shakes the cobwebs from his head for a moment before charging across the ring. As he reaches three quarters of the way, he hops up and flies through the air, nailing Levitt with a Stinger Splash! Levitt stumbles out of the corner, as Michaels regains his footing. Michaels walks round Levitt and kicks him in the gut, before bouncing off the ropes and jumping up again. This time he brings his right leg over the top of Levitt's head and forces it to the ground, with the Fameasser! The crowd roars as Michaels hits one of his trademark moves. Levitt rolls onto his back, as Michaels hooks the far leg.

1....
2.....
SHOULDER UP!

The fans can't believe it, as Travis Levitt shows he's no joke by popping his shoulder up. Michaels sits up and looks frustrated, as he adjusts the left knee pad under his tights. Michaels looks at Nova, who offers him a few words of encouragement, before he gets back up to his feet. Michaels then pulls Levitt up and picks him up, Scoop Slamming him into the centre of the ring. Michaels heads out onto the ring apron again before climbing up to the top turnbuckle. This time Levitt doesn't follow him and is laid out on the mat, so Michaels stands up straight and leaps off, going for his trademark Top Rope Elbow Drop! The camera flashes go wild, but they don't capture the intended image, as Travis rolls out of the way at the last second and Michaels is left to only Elbow Drop the canvas. Sensing that Michaels is in trouble, Nova leaps up onto the ring apron and the ref runs over to her, trying to get her down. Meanwhile, Michaels is hurting, bad, as he tries to get back up to his feet. With his back to his opponent, Michaels wanders backwards across the ring and suddenly finds his arms underhooked from the rear. Travis locks both his hand together behind Michaels' neck and pops hi hips, shooting Michaels backwards through the air with his wonderful and deadly finisher, the Dragon Suplex (Full Nelson Suplex)! The rear of Michaels head smashes into the mat and knocks him out, as Travis has the perfect bridge for the pin...

But...Nova has the referee distracted and no count is made. Travis can be seen looking around while in the bridge, wondering where the hell the ref is. Eventually he decides to let go and sits up, as Michaels floats over his head onto his chest. Travis sees that Nova has the ref distracted and isn't remotely pleased.

Cedar:
"And the antics of D-Volution have perhaps caught Travis a little off guard here, as Nova STILL has the ref distracted."

Miles:
"Perhaps?! Are you kidding me, Michaels should be disqualified for this..."

Travis looks at Nova, placing his hands on his hips and decides he's had enough of her. He stomps over to where she's standing and shoves the referee out of the way. He then goes to grab her, but with the ref down for a moment, Nova takes advantage and holds onto his head before leaping down off the apron. Levitt's head and neck whiplash off the top rope and his body jolts backwards. As he does, he stumbles back first into a hurting Michaels. Once Michaels realises what's happened, he turns around and leaps up into the air, pushing his knee into the spine of Travis and pulls him backwards, nailing him with the Backstabber. The fans cheers, as Michaels and Travis lay in the middle of the ring, back at square one.

Cedar:
"D-Volution certainly derailing Tavis' chances there of winning the match and he fell for Nova's trap."

Miles:
"This is getting ridiculous. Why can't the rest of Michael's shitty ass group just stay the hell away from ringside?!"

With Travis down, Michaels reaches over and places his left arm over the chest of Travis, making the loose cover.

1....
2......
Shoulder up!

Once more, Travis kicks out and shows he is one tough cookie already in his short time here in the Xtreme Wrestling Association. Michaels sits up and is still having issues with his head, as he looks at the ref asking why he didn't count faster. In the meant time, DC Hennig has decided to place himself back on commentary...

Cedar:
"...and we are joined once again by DC Hennig here...DC, this really isn't the way to go about winning matches, is it?"

Miles:
"OH FINALLY! Your fatass agrees with something I say for once..."

DC:
"No. You're right. It isn't...as Davey Boy is yet to win this yet, so clearly we need to try something different."

Cedar:
"Honestly, without sounding rude DC, Michaels managed to defeat Robert Hope inside that Hell in a Cell without anybody's help...so why does he suddenly need four other people to help him win?"

Miles:
"Because he's a useless fuck?"

DC:
"OK, let me get one thing straight for you two worthless idiots - Michaels, and nobody else in this group, NEEDS help to win a match. So why are we out here? Because he damn well want to be, that's way. We told you we were going to Devolve this company and run this place and that's exactly what we're doing..."

Cedar:
"It's a tad silly, if you ask me...the people won't cheer for these antics forever, you know."

Miles:
"That I agree with...although, fuck the people!"

DC:
"Well it's a good job no one asked either one of you for you opinion now, is it? Michaels was right and I proved a point coming back here - being a generic jackass this company wants you to be gets you nowhere. No look at me. I piss in the face of XWA Management, burng a few T-Shirts and suddenly everyone loves to see someone being themselves. THAT...is D-Volution."

Miles:
"...it's a croc a shit."

DC:
"Alright, fine. Watch then as none of us will interfere in this match again."

While DC calls the rest of the group away from the ring, Michaels gets back up to his feet and slowly pulls Travis up with him, smiling to the fans in a arrogant manner feeling as though he is about to finish this match. Then, just as he is about to start hitting a move, Travis Levitt pushes Michaels forwards and lifts his right foot up, nailing Michaels straight in the side of the head with a Roundhouse Kick! Michaels bolts down to one knee, as he blanks out for a moment. Travis then holds onto Michaels head from behind and drops backwards, hitting him in the middle of the ring with a Reverse DDT! Michaels is left laying, out of it, as Travis gets to his feet and motions to the crowd this one is over. The fans boos him heavily, as he makes his way to the top rope. Travis then leaps off and connects with a Diving Headbutt, cracking his own skull into that of Michaels'! Travis could have gone for the pin there, but decides to get back up to his feet and stalks his opponent. Travis looks over at D-Volution near the commentary table and informs them all they are 'number 1' in his book, before turning back to stalking Michaels.

Cedar:
"Well it's good to know Travis is making good friends out of you guys here at ringside."

Miles:
"I certainly agree with his visual and let it be known, DC, if I didn't have a professional duty out here on commentary, I too would inform you that you are number one!"

DC:
"Oh touching, Joey...but we'll find out who's number in when the fat lady is singing."

Miles:
"...Cedar's a woman?!"

Michaels slowly begins to get back up to his feet, not knowing where he is. Once back up, Travis kicks him in the gut and wraps his left arm over his head. He then shoots backwards and looks for the Capitol Krunch (Evenflow DDT), wanting to implant his head into the mat...but Michaels, at the last moment, reaches out and holds onto the ropes and lets Travis slam spine first into the mat! Travis hobbles back up to his feet, almost drunk like, and turns around. Michaels gathers himself and jumps into the air, presses both his legs into his chest this time and nailing Levitt with The Heartbreaker (Codebreaker)! The Dragon surges backwards across the ring and land dead set in the centre, while Michaels takes a moment to pull himself up and gather himself. Michaels then climbs onto the apron and up onto the top rope. This time he goes as quick as he can and leaps off, finally connecting with the Top Rope Elbow he's now went for twice prior in this contest! Michaels hits it perfectly, planting his elbow in Travis' chest. He clambers back up and leaps up and down, feeling the electricity finally running through his veins as the fans also all stand up in unison. Michaels looks ready for the kill and walks over to the corner, repeating the process from earlier of stamping his feet into the canvas. He preys on his opponent, wanting to send his right foot crashing into him so hard. Travis takes his time getting back to his feet, not looking to good hear. Michaels begins to become rather twitchy and just when it looks like he's moments away from pulling the trigger, a roar of boos wave around the arena as a familiar theme song is played through the arena speakers...

Cedar:
"Now wait just a minute here...what does he want?!"

Miles:
"Revenge, obviously, you idiot! I think anyone in their right mind would want to kick the shit out of this group of morons, let alone if they attacked you earlier in the night."

DC:
"Oh so the Shitman wants some more, huh?!"

DC gets to his feet, looking on at the entrance ramp as Hitman Alex comes racing down the ramp! Michaels suddenly loses all interest in his opponent and wanders over towards the ropes facing the entrance stage. Michaels readies himself, while DC has a hard time holding Carnage back from running over and ripping his head off! Michaels is ready and waiting for the fight, as Hitman Alex hits the bottom of the ramp. Hitman then leaps up onto the apron and goes to climb in...when he halts and just stares at his Revolutionary Wars opponent dead in his eyes. The two have clearly got a lot of bad blood inside of them and the fans are now wanting them to lock horns. Michaels motions for him to get into the ring, begging him to give him a reason to attack him once again. The XWA World Heavyweight Champion, however, slowly begins to shake his head and starts to smile, before pointing to behind Michaels. While he was distracted, Travis Levitt was able to recover and get back up to his feet. Unknown to David, Levitt has his illegal Fireball ready. Usually Travis would be crafty and do it behind the ref's back, but after the antics he's had to put up with, just burning this annoying man's face is more than enough. Michaels turns round and flames are spit out of Travis' mouth, as they go flaming several feet forwards in Michaels' direction. But the fans all cheer at the top of their lungs, as David Michaels leaps out of the way and the flames go straight into the face of Hitman Alex! The World Champion, who clearly isn't having a good night so far, is sent flying back off the apron and lands on the entrance ramp, holding his face. Travis leans over the top rope and looks down, not really giving a damn he just sent a fireball into Hitman Alex's face for the second week in a row. In fact, it brings a little smile to his face...until he remembers that he's in a match and turns back round...SMACK! Michaels picks himself back up and sends his right foot into the jaw of Travis Levitt courtesy of the Shattered Teeth Symphony! The crowd all cheer once more, as Michaels drops down and hooks the far leg.

DING...DING...DING!!!

Watts:
"Here is your winner...The Showstealer...DAVIDDDDD MICHAELSSSSSSS!!!"

Cedar:
"In a bizarre set of circumstances, Michaels gets the duke!"

Miles:
"OH COME THE FUCK ON!!!"

Cedar:
"Hitman Alex's plan backfires and he gets burned for the second week running!"

Miles:
"This is bullshit! Michaels should have already been DQ'd dammit'!"

DC:
"Hey, don't look at me! I kept my word and didn't interfere in this match at the request of you fine gentlemen...and our moronic World Champion kept good on the predictable level and got his ass burned! Now, gentlemen, if you would excuse us I believe D-Volution has a victory to celebrate."

Michaels sits up, holding his head, as he looks out onto the ramp and sees Hitman Alex scuttling around holding his face! Michaels gives off a little grin, as the rest of D-Volution get in the ring...all except JHalc, who rolls around to the bottom of the ramp in front of his comrades and starts laughing at Hitman Alex's screw up here. The World Champion backs off up the ramp, holding his face with one hand and using his other to point at Michaels. DC places his arms over his buddies shoulders, smiling and feeling more alive than ever, as D-Volution get the best of Michaels' opponent for the second time tonight. JHalc looks back and up in his chair, reaching up and slapping hands with both Michaels and DC, as this partnership appears to be already working a treat!

The show fades to a commercial break, as D-Volution are left waving Hitman Alex off. One thing is for certain, however - this isn't over and Hitman Alex will want payback...and bad!
