M1 | Marquis Carter vs. Danny Diamond Empty
PostSubject: Re: M1 | Marquis Carter vs. Danny Diamond   M1 | Marquis Carter vs. Danny Diamond EmptyWed Jun 25, 2014 7:07 pm

The bell tolls signaling the beginning of the match as Danny is left hurting from the pre-match beat-down. Nevertheless, in a surprising move from the Englishman, Danny starts off just as he did against Spyro two weeks back, by running at his much larger opponent and Dropkicking him square in the chest! The impact of the move causes Marquis to go stumbling towards the ropes, where Danny runs at him again, this time Clotheslining him straight over to the outside, whilst flopping along with his adversary. Marquis hits the floor outside of the ring with a thud, as Danny is somehow able to land on the ring apron, showing off his agility. He stands up-right on the apron, latching onto the top rope as he looks back at Carter, waiting for him to get back to his feet. "Listen to ya theme song, homie! Move!" yells Demetrius, trying to get his client to move out of the way, but Marquis is too busy dealing with trying to get back to a centered base that he doesn't hear his manager. Suddenly, Danny leaps into the air, bouncing his legs off of the top rope and back flipping into a Suicide Arabian Press that lands to perfection! The audience pops for the athletic high risk maneuver by Danny, as he quickly hops back up to his feet and excitedly raises a hand into the air. Danny runs over to the nearest security barricade and leaps on top of it, yelling as he now raises both hands into the air. It's obvious Danny isn't used to getting this kind of reaction from an audience, as he's loving the cheers and letting then soak in. He jumps back down off of the barricade and turns around, only to be taken inside-out with a humungous Clothesline from Marquis! The cheering fans quickly turn to jeers as Danny lays on the floor, outside of the ring, hurting from the Clothesline.

Joey Miles
"You see this shit, Theodore? Danny, straight off the bat, goes all out and he couldn't even keep Marquis down long enough to boast to these fucking fans."

Ted Cedar
"Marquis is certainly an impressive individual. Danny should really put all of his focus on time tonight, and less on the fans, or this could be very difficult for him."

Demetrius barks some orders at Marquis, as the big man picks Danny up and rolls him into the ring. Marquis climbs onto the ring apron and then does something usual for a man of his size, ascending to the top rope. Upon reaching the top turnbuckle, Marquis looks at Danny, whom is now nearing his feet, before diving off into a Battering Ram-style Shoulder Block! He immediately goes for the cover following this maneuver, but it's a kickout just after a count of two. "That's okay, that's okay! Show him your power, Marq, put that boy down!" shouts Demetrius from outside of the ring. Marquis nods before pulling Danny back to his feet and lifting him onto his shoulder, proceeding to slam him onto the canvas with a textbook Scoop Slam. Following this, he grabs the legs of the downed Englishman and spins him onto his stomach, applying the Boston Crab he, rather controversially, named the Boston's Chicken. The fans let out a majorly mixed reaction, with some booing for Marquis potentially being close to victory and others cheering to help will Danny out of this predicament. The much smaller Englishman remains calm, as opposed to flailing about due to the pain he's feeling. He uses what strength he does have to pull himself inch by inch closer to the ropes, eventually making it and getting the break. "He got 'till five, he got 'till five!" yells Demetrius, as Marquis makes full use of the five count, letting Danny go at four.

Ted Cedar
"Danny managed to make it to the ropes, but the damage has been done to his lower back. Remember, Marquis likes to utilize that Sitout Powerbomb he calls the Back-Attack and if Danny's got an injured back that could be very dangerous for the Englishman."

Joey Miles
"Normally, I'd be up Danny's ass, but he's turned into a bit of a bitch, to be honest. All this fan love and shit. It makes me sick. Marquis, on the other hand, is in it to win it for himself. That's good people. Break his fucking back, Marquis. Make him humble, Shiekie style."

"Keep on his back, big boy!" Demetrius continues, giving his client more direction. Marquis lands a couple calculated stomps to the lower back of his adversary, clearly listening to what Demetrius tells him to do. On the other side of the ring, Skye looks on, not worrying for Danny as she knows he can handle the pain. Still, she doesn't appear to be too happy to see Diamond getting beaten down like this. Carter drills Danny in the lower back with his knee before pulling him back to his feet and Irish Whipping him across the ring with so much power that Danny doesn't have any time to spin around, instead crashing front-first into the turnbuckle! Before he has a chance to do much of anything, Danny finds his lower back the target of another attack as Marquis rushes at him, drilling him in that very area with a Shoulder Thrust! Not finished yet, Marquis pushes Danny up into a seated position atop the turnbuckle, with his back to the ring. "You got this, Marq! Keep it up!" encourages Marshall as Demetrius climbs to the middle turnbuckle and sets up for a Back Suplex. He goes for the maneuver, but Danny again showcases his athleticism and agility by doing a full back flip and landing on his feet, whereas Marquis lands on his back! Danny rushes over to the opposing corner of the ring and waits for Marquis to get back up. Once he does, "The Prized Gem" launches himself forward, only to run into the arms of his adversary, whom quickly launches him with a Belly-to-Belly Suplex that sends Danny crashing back and leg first into the turnbuckle! The fans continue to boo as Demetrius yells out more words of encouragement, "That's my boy! Keep on him, dog!"

Ted Cedar
"Some great athleticism being shown there by Danny, but it was all for nothing as the power of Marquis comes through in the end."

Joey Miles
"This guy's a beast. Pound for pound, one of the strongest in the XWA today. Shit, maybe one of the strongest in general."

Marquis looks at the downed Danny before letting out a loud yell and pulling Danny back to his feet, placing his head in between the American wrestler's legs and then lifting him onto his shoulders, setting up for the Back-Attack, his finishing Sitout Powerbomb! Realizing the danger he's in, Danny begins to fight back with punch after punch before he's able to pull his opponent straight off of his feet with a Hurricanrana! The two quickly shoot back to their feet and Danny lands the second Dropkick of the match, taking it straight to the jaw! Marquis gets back up rather quickly and takes a second Dropkick to the jaw, echoing throughout the arena. He gets up once more, but, this time, Danny doesn't have a Dropkick in mind. Instead, he spins into a Discus Lariat dubbed Die Tonight! The fans burst into cheers at the offense that Danny's getting in, as Skye looks on, pleased at what she sees, and Demetrius comments on the situation, "you got this, D! Kick out!" Of course, Danny had gone for the pin right before he said that, but Marquis was able to get his shoulder up just before a count of two. The fans cheer for the kickout, as Danny slowly begins to get back to his feet, pressing his backhand against his lower back while doing so.

Ted Cedar
"Danny with the Die Tonight, but it wasn't enough to put away Marquis. Diamond's feeling the pain in his lower back, still, though. Marquis needs to capitalize on this."

Joey Miles
"I'm sure he will. He's got a smart man looking after him on the outside of the ring. Demetrius knows what Marquis needs to do to win and Marquis will listen."

With both men now standing, Danny tries to get back into this thing with a few shots to the face of his adversary that don't appear to do too much damage. He then kicks Marquis in the gut before attempting an Irish Whip, but the muscular man doesn't go anywhere. He instead pulls Danny in his direction, Irish Whipping him with a single hand toward the ropes. Danny ducks under a Clothesline attempt on his way back and continues running, leaping into the air and springboarding off of the middle rope, twisting his body into a Cross Body! Unfortunately for the Englishman, however, Marquis was able to catch him, showcasing his immense strength! He tosses Danny over-head with a Fallaway Slam, that he impressively lands in a bridged pin attempt, but it's a kickout at two. As Danny gets back to his feet, he ducks under a Savate Kick attempt and pops up behind Marquis. Carter quickly turns around, not wanting to lose the advantage, but he turns directly into the Sudden Death Superkick to the throat from Danny! Diamond goes for the cover and gets the win.

[Obviously not my best effort, but I know Abdel's no-showing so eh. I did put some effort into this, but the ending was complete ass.]
