M9 | T.K. vs. Robert Hope Empty
PostSubject: Re: M9 | T.K. vs. Robert Hope   M9 | T.K. vs. Robert Hope EmptySun Jun 15, 2014 8:35 am

DING DING DING!

The deranged Robert Hope begins to pace back and forth, clearly not happy tonight. His big Hell in a Cell match is this Sunday, and now he has to adapt in order to survive the Evolution of Man, T.K. The towering brute of power and technical prowess stands in front of him, eager to get some momentum behind him, heading into the match that decides his career this Sunday. Both men have a lot riding on Sunday, and neither can even dare to look past this match right now. For Hope, he knows fine well that T.K could choke him out in a second. As for T.K, he has that big red monster Cerberus to look out for. The Prophet, the self-professed King of XWA begins to throw venomous words at his larger opponent, making sure to keep his distance from the Evolution of Man. T.K stands still, unimpressed at the jabs from Hope, knowing fine well that he is only trying to get in his head. Both men slowly begin to circle the ring, each of them preparing themselves to lock horns in the centre momentarily.

|Cedar| “Here we go, ladies and gentlemen. Here we have The Crimson Giant, perhaps one of the greatest to step into an XWA ring against this sick and twisted despot, The Prophet Robert Hope. Both men have a lot riding on their matches this coming Sunday, so it's going to be interesting to see how they approach this match.”

|Miles| “I just hope we can enjoy this match without hearing you flap your gums like that. Blah blah blah tactics, blah blah blah strategy. Can you not just enjoy two guys beating the hell out of each other?”

|Cedar| “That's your job. I'm here to call the action, give insight and so on, you're here to babble on about some menial crap and make believe you have some semblance of a personality.”

|Miles| “...harsh, Cedar. HEY. HEY CERBERUS! Teddy wants round 2. Come and get him!”

Much to Miles' dismay, Cerberus pays no attention to his request, watching T.K closely as he moves around the ring instead. The Crimson Giant makes his way to the centre of the ring with Hope, and after a brief hesitation, both men lock up in the centre of the ring. T.K, being the larger man by a considerable margin, has no trouble in getting the advantage on his 5 foot 11 opponent, pushing him around with relative ease. Hope desperately tries to anchor his feet into the mat, trying to fool himself into thinking he can actually withstand the power of his larger foe. T.K quickly pulls Hope in for a headlock. The Prophet starts to struggle against the pincer-like grip of T.K's arm around his head, and the referee gets into position to check the hold. He's not there long, though, as T.K quickly switches to a waist lock position, squeezing the midsection of Hope. The Prophet worms his hand under the grip of his opponent, and manages to break the hold, turning out into a wrist lock, putting pressure on the arm of The Evolution of Man. T.K grunts under the strain of the hold, dropping to a knee for a moment. Hope wrenches the wrist hard, gritting his teeth as he begins to apply more pressure. He suddenly finds himself on the back foot, though, as T.K rolls through and up to his feet, where he spins Hope around into a hammerlock hold, wrenching Hope's shoulder and causing him to let out a little yelp. The self-appointed King of XWA slaps his shoulder, and checks over either of his shoulders to see where T.K's head is, before flinging an elbow back with his free arm. This proves to be a mistake, though, as T.K manages to hook his arm around Hope's flailing limb in a half-Nelson, then hooking his hand with Hope's other arm which is still in a hammerlock in an impressive half-Nelson hammerlock type move, using his other arm to stabilise Hope's body. Hope cries out in pain as the referee checks if he wants to give up in this early stage of the match.

|Cedar| “A beautiful bit of strategy from T.K here, ladies and gentlemen. He's keeping the wild Prophet in arm's reach, away from those wild, unpredictable strikes that we've seen Hope unleash before. He's also, at the same time, weakening those arms somewhat to prevent Hope from getting as much force from a potential Hope for the Future; that devastating hangman's neckbreaker. Solid strategy.”

|Miles| “I like the way he did that thing with his arms. It looks like he's trying to turn Hope into some sort of piece of modern art.”

Hope furiously struggles against the hold, gritting his teeth and letting out a series of short, sharp grunts of pain. T.K keeps the pressure on The Prophet, who now needs to quickly find a way to escape the clutches of the submission artist. Hope tries to pull his arm free, but only finds himself being rag-dolled out of it. The Prophet manages to hook his arm around the neck of T.K, then jump off his feet and take T.K over with a snapmare, managing to break the hold, as T.K rolls through. Both men return to their feet, and just as Hope runs for T.K to unleash a flurry of strikes, The Crimson Giant suddenly drops to a knee and takes Hope down with a tackle, dropping the madman to his back, then leaping on to him with an inverted headlock (similar to a crossface, but with T.K's hands at the back of Hope's head). Hope flails his arms towards T.K, swinging at his arms and head in an attempt to free himself. T.K anticipates a strike, and catches one of Hope's arms and flips him onto his stomach from the hold, and locks him in a ground headlock. The crowd applaud T.K's masterful groundwork, impressed with how deftly he managed to neutralise Hope. The Prophet pounds the mat in frustration, not happy with the fact that he's spent the majority of the match so far in T.K's clutches.

|Miles| “This is what T.K doesn't want to do. You can feel the anger and frustration bubbling in Hope like he's a volcano. He doesn't want to try to keep a lid on that, because that's when bitches get stitches.”

|Cedar| “Something tells me that T.K has interacted with many men like that sick freak. I don't think he has that to worry about. Not only is he a former multi-time champion for various companies, he's a very skilled martial artist. He knows just what to do with Hope, and when.”

|Miles| “Careful, Cedar. You're going to get slobber all over his balls if you continue like that.”

Robert Hope squirms against the headlock, trying his level best to break the hold of The Crimson Giant, who at this point, is just grinning to himself. He knows he is in firm control, but won't relax until he sees Hope lying on the mat, defeated. Hope reaches one of his hands up and tries to grab hold of T.K's short, gelled up hair, but finds himself getting his hand headbutted away by the intense T.K. Hope lets out a frustrated yell, cursing out his larger opponent, as the referee checks the hold for a choke. The Prophet manages to get up to his knees, and after a moment, he pushes against T.K's body to free himself from the hold...only to find himself quickly set upon and pressed to the mat again with a chancery, pushing him to the mat. The frustration of Hope shines through like a beacon cutting through thick fog.

|Hope| “Get the fuck off me, you big bastard! AGH!”

As it happens, T.K doesn't appreciate being called a bastard, so decides to bind his arm around Hope's neck with the chancery. Hope's arms flail, with one of them pounding the mat out of discomfort and frustration. The referee is quick to ask Hope if he submits, taking the hand pounding the mat as an indication.

[b]|Hope|
“...GUH...Fuck...off...UGH!”

I guess that's a no, then... T.K pulls at Hope's head, lifting it off the mat, then slamming it down again in a kind of improvised DDT of sorts. T.K releases the hold, as Hope rolls away holding his face. The pained Prophet quickly scurries over to the ropes, still holding his nose from the impact with the mat, but is suddenly stopped when T.K wraps two hands around one of his ankles and pulls him back. The Crimson Giant then quickly gets to his feet and drops an elbow into the back of his opponent, crushing him with his 255 lb. frame. Hope lets out a shout of pain, and T.K quickly rolls him over for a cover attempt.

|Referee| “1! 2!”

Hope kicks out aggressively, holding his back and trying to nurse the sharp pain in his spine. Hope sits up, which plays right into T.K's strategy, who holds his head and begins to deliver a series of hard, clubbing blows to his chest from behind his back. The thuds are sickening, and the pained sounds coming from Hope's mouth with each strike indicated this. With each strike, his arms jerk from the pain. The crowd begin to count each strike from T.K, like the match is some deranged version of a Sesame Street episode.

|Crowd| “...3 – 4 – 5 – 6 – 7 – 8 – 9 – 10!”

T.K stops his beating as the crowd cheers. Though he's not one to revel in the cheers of the audience. Instead, he chooses to lift Hope up to his feet and push him to the ropes. The Prophet holds his chest, which has almost been tanned by the massive forearms of The Crimson Giant. T.K backs Hope up to the ropes and begins to deliver hard knee strikes to the midsection, doubling The Prophet over in brutal fashion, then whipping him across the ring to the opposite ropes. Hope returns across the ring, and is easily thrown up in the air with a back body drop, almost sending Hope up to the rafters. He drops with a sickening thud, and once again tries to escape out of the ring. Once again, though, T.K stops him, this time pulling him back by his tights. Hope finds himself lying face down in the ring, holding his back in pain from the massive backdrop, but then suddenly finds himself off the mat. He's suddenly looking at the audience, being held off the mat. His confusion can only occupy him for a little while, as he feels himself being thrown backwards to the mat in a beautiful and impressive looking dead lift German suplex, which folds him up and causes the crowd to cheer wildly at the amazing showing of strength from The Evolution of Man. The Prophet is folded in half, but then slowly flops to his side, motionless from the move. Cerberus watches him closely, perhaps looking for a certain cue of some description from his mentor. T.K quickly dashes to the ropes near where Cerberus is standing, and kicks them to keep the monster away, which works to some extent. The Crimson Giant rests against the top rope, and glares down to The Hound of Hell, who simply steps back to meet his gaze, with neither men showing a great deal of emotion, but filling the arena with an unfathomable tension.

|Crowd| “Oooooooh!”

|Cedar| “Oh my, T.K just fired a warning shot at the monster Cerberus. He wants to make it clear that he's ready for any interference from The Hound of Hell.”

|Miles| “It's his funeral. If Cerberus grabs hold of T.K, he's not going to be The Crimson Giant only by name. He's going to be covered in his own blood.”

The twisted Robert Hope lies in a twisted mess on the mat, holding his back as the pain from the beating he has taken courses through his body. The Crimson Giant, however, is not about to let him get off easily. He stands over Hope's head and brutally wrenches him up to his feet. Hope's arms flail around as T.K lifts him up into a hellaciously quick snap suplex, pounding Hope against the mat with amazing velocity, and pushing the air right out of his lungs. Robert arches his back in pain once again, completely oblivious to the fact that T.K is on his feet once again, and charging towards him from the ropes. It is only when he sees The Evolution of Man suspended in mid-air that he realises he's in trouble, as he is squished by a big leg drop, compressing his chest. Hope splutters out a few coughs, and is quickly covered.

|Referee| “1! 2!”

Hope manages to kick out again, despite the pain that T.K is subjecting him to. Hope groggily tries to crawl away from his aggressor, clearly not having a good day at the office tonight, which makes for especially worrying prospects at this Sunday's Pay Per View. It seems as though Hope is very keen on simply getting the high holy hell out of this match, regardless of the result, if he has any hope in hell of competing at 100%. T.K, on the other hand, is in the exact opposite position. Not one to rest on his laurels, T.K follows his downed opponent. He is quickly in front of Hope, and lifts him up from the mat so Hope's head is between his legs. He looks around at the swelling crowds, then quickly hoists Hope up into the air for a powerbomb. At least, that's the idea. Instead of being able to drop him down to the mat, he is subjected to an eye rake, which causes him to drop his opponent. Hope crashes to the mat from a height, but still manages to capitalise on his handy work. With The Crimson Giant temporarily blinded, he charges at him and begins to attack with hard lefts and rights to the head and gut, trying his best to inflict as much pain in this short window as he can. Fighting through the pain, he unleashes hellfire on The Evolution of Man, managing to get him to one knee. Hope then positions himself behind T.K and sticks his fingers in his mouth, stretching it wide in a grim “smile”. The referee steps in to admonish Hope and demands that he stops, which Hope complies with, only to quickly sink his teeth into the forehead of The Crimson Giant and savagely gnaw away, trying to draw blood, causing T.K to let out a pained bellow. The referee grabs Hope by the waist and tries to pull him away from T.K, but doesn't manage to peel him off, so instead begins to count him out.

|Referee| “Get off him, Hope! 1! 2! 3! 4!”

The Prophet casually releases the head of his opponent, and staggers away. The referee rushes over to admonish him for the blatant infringement of the rules, but Hope simply spits at his feet, as if to spit out a piece of T.K's flesh. The referee recoils in disgust, then warns Hope that if he breaks the rules again, because of that showing of unsportsmanlike conduct, he will be disqualified immediately. Hope rolls his eyes and responds with a pantomimey nod, then returns to T.K.

|Cedar| “This guy is sick. You'd think that he has a taste for human flesh with the amount of times that he has done that to opponents. I guarantee that if the referee hadn't stopped him, he'd have gone through to the bone. That's how sick this man is.”

|Miles| “Wah wah wah. Anything more extreme than swatting a butterfly is the worst thing in the world for you. Hey Cedar, I squashed a fly this morning. I guess that makes me a sick bastard too, huh?”

|Cedar| “Nice straw man argument there, Joey.”

|Miles| “Thank you, I've been practicing.”

The Prophet boots The Crimson Giant (who is now standing) hard in the gut. As his larger opponent drops to a knee, Hope dashes across the ring and rebounds off the ropes, intent on delivering some big-time punishment to T.K. His opponent has other ideas. On Hope's return, T.K hops up to his feet and snaps off a devastatingly beautiful tornado kick, almost snapping the head off Hope's shoulders and sending it into the crowd. The Prophet falls to the mat in a tumbling, topsy-turvy spin and rolls to the floor outside.

|Miles| “Holy fucking shitballs. He's dead.”

|Cedar| “That was brutal!”

Hope lands in a pile of human body on the outside, barely conscious. Cerberus walks over to him to check on him, and sees his mentor rolling from side to side in a daze, as if he was an upside down turtle, trying to right itself. Hope's eyes dart around the arena, a clear indication that he isn't all there at the moment. T.K drops his guard and walks over to the ropes in order to follow Hope, but suddenly realises the presence of Cerberus to his left hand side, who obediently watches his mentor. The Crimson Giant slowly makes his way out of the ring, while the referee counts both men out.

|Referee| “1!”

Cerberus approaches T.K, who doesn't back down one inch from him. The two towering men close the gap between them without hesitation, and stand staring each other out.

|Referee| “2!”

Hope is still gasping for breath and holding his chest, as he watches his Hound of Hell lock eyes with his tormentor. Cerberus cocks his head at T.K, who simply returns a cold, penetrating gaze. The crowd slowly begin to buzz with anticipation that these two giants are going to lock horns.

|Referee| “3!”

T.K steps back and glances over to Hope, very wary of Cerberus and trying his best not to be blind sided by the monster. But he knows that he can not afford to let Hope get the best of him, either.

|Referee| “4!”

The Crimson Giant makes a snap decision to return to Hope, deciding that he's going to take his chances by turning his back to the monster. Cerberus sees the large X scar on his back, almost like a target, but holds off.

|Referee| “5!”

Hope is dragged to his feet by T.K, then unceremoniously tossed into the railing to rough him up a little bit. T.K looks back to Cerberus, as if showing off his strength in some alpha male display, which receives no response. The Evolution of Man picks Hope up again, this time throwing him into the apron, and causing him to collide with a crash.

|Referee| “6!”

T.K decides that enough is enough, and pushes Hope back into the ring. Hope rolls into the ring, and then grabs the referee, pulling him down to the mat and complaining of an injury, slurring his words from the hard hit he took to the head. T.K immediately clicks on to what Hope is trying to do, but is too late to stop the massive clothesline from Cerberus that drops him to the floor. Cerberus knows he only has a moment to capitalise on this distraction by Hope, as he grabs a somewhat stunned T.K off the floor and throws him aggressively into the railing outside, prompting the crowd to boo loudly. Cerberus begins to throw hard shots at the head of T.K, who tries his very best to block against them. The Hound of Hell knows exactly what The Crimson Giant is capable of, so wastes no time in lifting him up again and throwing him head-long into the steps. The crash alerts the referee somewhat, but he is quickly distracted by Hope, who now has him by the back of his head and is crying out in pain and favouring his shoulder. Hope looks past the referee to see Cerberus lifting a chair from under the ring, and measuring his downed opponent. The mugging on the outside concludes with a hard, Earth-shattering chair shot, echoing through the arena. The referee certainly hears this, but before he can react, he is pushed away. Hope scurries to the outside and begins to deliver shot after shot to the back of the head of T.K, as Cerberus casually walks away, discarding the chair. The referee looks out at Hope, then over to Cerberus, as they pull off another one of their deceptive attacks, with only the loud boos of the crowd to tell him something just went down. Regardless, the referee can't call what he didn't see...

|Cedar| “And there we go again! Hope, once again, uses his monster to get the advantage in the match. He was losing fairly to T.K, but he can't get himself back into the match fairly, so he resorts to that. What a coward.”

|Miles| “Coward?! How dare you mock the King like that? That was perfectly sound strategy. He didn't just turn the tables, he flipped them right on top of T.K. Amazing. Just an incredible example of how cunning and smart our King is. Hail him, you sack of shit.”

Hope decides to quickly lift The Crimson Giant up to the apron, and push him into the ring with great effort. The referee warns him as he does, but Hope simply holds his hands up as if he's innocent of any wrongdoing. The Prophet pulls himself back into the ring, then slowly stalks The Evolution of Man as he crawls on the mat. Hope then charges at T.K, booting him directly in the ribs, almost cracking them. T.K drops to the mat, still in pain from the brutal attack from Cerberus moments ago. Hope exhibits no mercy whatsoever, as he begins to boot away at his downed opponent's midsection, all the while still fuzzy from the brutal kick. He stumbles as he kicks his opponent, but knows that he has to keep it together now in order to capitalise on the extremely dangerous T.K. Robert Hope steps over to the ropes, using them to prop him up as he waits for T.K to get up. After a moment of The Crimson Giant pausing to regain his breath, he pushes himself up to his hands and knees, just in time for Hope to pounce on him and drop him with a vicious snap DDT, driving his head into the mat with aggression. The Crimson Giant falls onto his back, spread eagled on the mat, and Hope hooks his leg for the cover.

|Referee| “1! 2! TH-”

T.K kicks out just before the referee's hand hits the mat for 3. Hope looks at the referee in disbelief, but doesn't quite have it in him to argue the decision. Instead, he slowly pushes himself up to his feet, still unsteady on them, and pulls T.K up by his hair. The giant slowly pushes himself up as Hope has two hands full of his hair, then rests on his knees, while Hope darts away from him again. Making a bee-line for T.K, Hope notices him stand up for some kind of counter, so rather than charging right at him, Hope slides down between T.K's legs and stands behind him. The Prophet quickly gets to his feet again, then (rather bravely) attempts to lift T.K up into the Year of the Dragon! Hope manages to get The Crimson Giant a couple of inches off the floor, but ends up losing grasp as he rolls off his back and lands on his feet. Hope staggers forward, but doesn't get far, as T.K spins him around, kicks him in the gut, then lifts him up into the De-Volution! Hope does his best to squirm out of the hold, in an attempt to escape, but T.K has his arms locked in too tightly! The referee gets into position to ask Hope if he would like to submit, when out of desperation, The Prophet kicks the referee square in the face! The referee falls to the mat instantly, rolling out of the ring and holding his face. The crowd boo Hope mercilessly as, once again, he takes the easy way out. The Crimson Giant doesn't realise that the referee is out of action until he notices he isn't asking Hope if he would like to give up. T.K turns around with Hope on his back, and sees Cerberus climbing into the ring where the referee should be.

|Cedar| “Oh no, not now. Come on, this isn't right!”

Cerberus gets to his feet in the ring just as T.K throws Hope off his back. The two monsters square off again, with T.K ready and willing to fight. He puts up his hands and challenges Cerberus to take a swing.

|T.K| “Come on, big man... You want to do this? Let's do this.”

Just then, Cerberus takes a lunge towards T.K with a big right hand, but finds nothing but air, and stumbles a little. T.K takes his chance to pepper the monster with a spinning back kick to the spine, knocking The Hound of Hell chest first into the ropes, and back again. Cerberus turns around to find himself struck by another kick, this time a high roundhouse to the head. His head snaps back, but he doesn't go down. Instead, he rocks on his feet slightly, which prompts the cogs to spin in T.K's head. He knows that, at this point, he has to get rid of Cerberus before he can get to Hope and put him away. The Evolution of Man knows damn well that if he doesn't put the beast down now, he will be in for some headaches from him. With that, T.K delivers a few more hard kicks to the legs and chest of his monstrous aggressor, causing biting pain through his body. With one last lunge, T.K connects with a Thai kick right to the gut of Cerberus, then hooks him under his legs. He wastes no time in hooking the arms of the monster and attempting a Natural Selection to drop him. The Crimson Giant jumps in place, but is suddenly halted by a face full of red mist from Robert Hope! T.K has no option but to release Cerberus and hold his face from the mist attack, which leaves him wide open for Cerberus to grab him by the neck with his gloved hand. Knowing he's in danger, however, T.K will not stand by and allow himself to be chokeslammed. He grabs Cerberus' arm and pulls it down towards him as he drops to the floor and tries to put Cerberus in a triangle choke! He can hear the beast howl in pain, and Hope barking orders at the monster to get him to fight out of it. The immense burning in T.K's eyes may prevent him from seeing, but in no way prevents him from attempting to quickly choke out the Hound of Hell and prevent further injury. Suddenly, he feels himself being lifted in the air, as the mammoth strength of the masked monster hoists him in the air. What T.K can't see is that Hope has climbed the top rope, and while he is being held in the air, The Prophet leaps on to his opponent and hits a flying Shining Wizard from the top rope, knocking T.K down to the mat with a thud!

|Cedar| “Oh my God! Hope nearly took T.K's head off from mid-air. That was brutal.”

Cerberus takes a moment to tend to his hurting arm, but is quickly shoved by Hope, who is screaming for him to get the referee. Hope smacks Cerberus in the head and tells him to snap out of it, which returns the monster to his compliant state, and prompts him to leave the ring.

|Cedar| “Come on, this isn't right. Hope's going to steal another win. This isn't right, god dammit.”

Cerberus hoists the referee up under the bottom rope, shaking him to consciousness. The referee barely knows what's going on, but hears Hope shriek at him to count.

|Referee| “1... 2... 3...”

|Cedar| “Dammit!”

M9 | T.K. vs. Robert Hope Empty
PostSubject: Re: M9 | T.K. vs. Robert Hope   M9 | T.K. vs. Robert Hope EmptySun Jun 15, 2014 11:06 am

As Vendetta returns from commercial break, the next match up is mere moments away.  In one corner, the recently returned T.K. stands, mentally prepping himself as he looks not only at his opponent, but at Cerberus who stands behind him.  Robert Hope appears to be oozing with confidence, knowing his foe has no possibility of staying focused on him.  The Prophet is currently sat down in the corner, possibly calculating how to teach his foe a lesson for his actions against a member of the Hopeful last week.

“The Tension in this arena could be cut with a knife, two of the best in the business, and neither of them want to head into the Big Ass American Bash with a loss!”

“Don’t forget they’re both Hall of Famers Teddy boy, two of the best in the entire excuse for a hall of fame I may add.”

“Joey, just because he says he’s Kanimaniac doesn’t mean he’s telling the truth!”

Regardless, T.K. doesn’t seem to be completely sure of that idea, having been in the ring with the Dragon Tamer in the past.  However, he’s not going to let the Prophet stick in his mind, in the end, he’s an opponent.  A challenge to overcome.  With everyone settled in, Ryu Sanu walks into the middle asking if both men are ready.  Hope rises to his feet as Sanu rings the bell to start this match up.

“DING DING DING”

Before the ringing of the bell is even over T.K. charges forward, attempting to clothesline Hope right from the get go.  Robert demonstrates excellent reflexes instead, ducking under before dropping down and knocking the big man off his feet with a spinning low kick!  The Prophet instantly takes this moment to gloat as he’s proven basic superiority at the beginning of this contest.  He doesn’t carry on long however, as he knows that he can’t overpower his foe tonight, he has to outsmart, and out wrestle him.  Hope begins to stomp down on the Evolution of Man, aiming for the knees, the weak spot of any big man.  The big man doesn’t plan to stay down for long however, rolling out of the way before starting to force himself back up to his feet.  Robert’s eyes dart from side to side, hoping to find an easy way to bring his foe back down.

“Hope’s surprisingly kept T.K. back for the early moments here, but can he keep it up?”

“T.K.’s a beast, you try and hold him back!”

Hope attempts to knee the Evolution of Man in the gut before he can unleash his wrath, unfortunately T.K. is faster, spinning out of the way of the knee strike, before thwacking the Prophet with a Spinning Back Fist!  The fans cheer as the leader of the Hopeful falls back onto his ass before rolling out of the ring as he attempts to recover his thoughts.  T.K. almost goes right after him only for Cerberus to step up to the apron to take the Crimson’s Giant’s attention.  Sanu attempts to talk the monster down, but his complaints come on death ears.  “GET OUT OF MY WAY!”  T.K.’s famous temper immediately leads to him getting face to face with one of the few men bigger than himself.  The fans are on their feet.  This match may not last very long if these two start going at it!

“Oh my, things might be about to pick up in a very very big way!”

“Fuck this match, let those two beat the shit out of each other!”

It’s not to be however as Hope looks to take a good opportunity, taking advantage of his anger driven foe by sneaking into the ring and going for a quick roll up!  “1…2.!”  T.K. kicks out with ease as the Hound of Hell steps off the apron and back to the sidelines so to speak.  Hope’s hound may have stepped down a bit too soon, as the Evolution of Man is up to his feet in the blink of an eye before grabbing Rob by his hair and throwing him across the ring with it! The crowd instantly cheer as Hope lands in the corner flopping like a rag doll. The Crimson Giant lets out a roar before charging towards the turnbuckle as the Prophet is trying to pull himself up before getting sandwiched by the big man!  “By the time I’m done with you, Michaels won’t even have a challenge!”  The crowd cheers as T.K. pulls Hope up to a standing base by his hair before smashing him in the face with an elbow strike, not once but twice.  Sanu jumps in now to separate the two men as its clear T.K. plans to corner his foe.  “1.2.3.4.” T.K. backs off following a head-butt as Hope dazzlingly drops down onto the ropes.

“T.K.’s starting to go too far, he’s no better than Hope right now pulling dirty tactics like that out!”

“Since when did T.K. ever care that much about the rules?  Hope tried to get off a cheat shot, T.K.’s punishing him, and it’s fucking awesome.”

T.K. glares a hole through the referee who simply pleads that he’s simply doing his job.  The former world champion scoffs before turning to continue his onslaught only to get a thumb to the eye from the Hopeful leader!  T.K. cries out in surprise, as Robert takes him down with a double leg, before holding on and turning his ill-tempered foe over into a Boston Crab!  The Evolution of Man howls as he feels the pain shoot through his spine.  The Grand Slam Winner curses himself for being reckless as he reaches for the ropes. Thankfully they weren’t far due to where the submission took place, unfortunately, it’s just out of his reach, meaning the big man is going to have to work for it. Hope arches back further, making sure to get everything he can out of this.  The more punishment he does now, the less likely T.K. can continue to toss him around.  The Crimson Giant pushes himself up regardless, fighting through the pain before crawling a few spaces forward and grabbing the bottom rope.  “1…2…3…4…!”  At the very last moment Hope let’s go, backing off as now Sanu is yelling at him.

“Poor Ryu, I don’t know if he can maintain any sense of order here.”

“He should just give up and let it go.  Bitch is ruining all the fun.”

T.K. starts pulling himself together, but Hope isn’t just going to back off for Sanu, shoving the official out of the way as the Crimson Giant is climbing the middle rope.  Before T.K. can finish his climb, Hope runs towards him before leaping up and hitting him with a double knee strike pushing the big man throat first into the ropes!  The nearby fans cringe as T.K. bounces off and begins coughs for air.  The Prophet is merciless as he stomps his boot right down on to his downed foes throat, forcing Ryu’s hand once more.  “This is your last warning Hope, no chokes!”  Robert scowls as he releases the choke, before spitting on T.K. as he backs off and grins.  He’s brought a hall of famer of T.K.’s status to the ground.  What could Michaels possibly do to him at the Bash if he’s manhandling someone who could be considered a greater threat?  Well, it’s never truly that easy, as while he’s busy gloating to himself, the Evolution of Man grabs him by the leg and pulls him right off his feet!

“Man, this is brutal, I love it!”

“This is hardly even a legitimate match, these two are just doing whatever they can to gain the upper hand, and it’s turning into a straight up brawl as a result!”
T.K. doesn’t take any time to think about how graceful his choice of move appears as he simply crawls over the surprised Prophet before hitting with a powerful haymaker as the former MMA fighter applies a sloppy mount against his opponent.  The Evolution of Man doesn’t hold up either as he begins to unleash a flurry of blows that make everything the two have thrown at one another seem like nothing as Robert feebly attempts to block the strikes with little avail.  Finally he has a short reprieve as T.K. stops to regain his breath.  “Now you see, mind games and tricks don’t win you matches!”   Hope smirks for a moment causing the Crimson Giant to stall his impending attack.  “Oh, but they do keep brothers apart don’t they…”  Hope lets these words drift off, a gamble of a jest really.  Yet it appears to work as T.K. hasn’t pounded his face further into the canvas.  This hesitation is all the Leader of the Hopeful requires as he bucks upwards causing T.K. to fall forwards, giving Hope more than enough room to slip under the Giant’s legs.

“And the mind games begin, can T.K. keep his cool?”

“I hope not, T.K.’s always more fun when he’s angry.  Except that one time he punched me, that wasn’t fun.”

T.K.’s not nearly quick enough to stop Hope from regaining the upper hand as the Prophet leaps up and jumps onto T.K. already damaged spine with a double foot stop that sends the former world champion face first back into the canvas.  Robert grabs both of the Crimson Giant’s arms and pulls them up while pressing down onto the back of T.K.’s head preparing for a clear Curb Stomp.  The Evolution of Man screams out in agony as it currently feels like his arms are going to be ripped out of their sockets.  Of course, they would if it had been Cerberus, but Robert Hope is no strong man.  Thus he doesn’t wait as he releases his hold of T.K.’s arms smashing his head back into the canvas.  The crowd has come to a hush as Hope retains the advantage yet again.  Hope turns T.K. over before going for the pin, clearly seeing this contest as possibly over.  “1…2.”  The big man kicks out, leaving Hope frustrated as he looks over at Sanu as he signals that the referee is counting too slowly.

“Hope is surprisingly holding his own very well against T.K. in the ring, but how long can he keep it up?”

“As long as he needs to Ted, otherwise it’s going to be a very painful ending for him.”

Hope shakes his head again as he grabs T.K. by the arm and slides outside the ring as he struggles to pull the much larger man towards the turnbuckle area.  T.K. makes him regret whatever he planned on doing as the Crimson Giant pulls the Prophet chest first into the ring apron, knocking the breath out of the Hopeful one.  T.K. rolls out of the ring, not letting go of his smaller foes arm before throwing the five foot 11 star into the nearby barricade. “1” T.K. grabs hold of Hope once more, before attempting to throw the Prophet towards the steel steps only for Cerberus to run and catch his leader midway.  “2” Hope takes a moment to balance himself before pushing away from the Hound of Hell only for T.K. to charge forward with a Cambrian Explosion!  “3” Hope ducks down as the Evolution of Man’s signature Power Thrust Kick instead goes towards Cerberus who merely catches the kick and throws the Crimson Giant’s leg down like a toy.  “4!” T.K. takes a few steps back, starting the Hound in the eye, curious to whether or not the bigger fish will attempt something should he turn around to focus on Hope.
"
"This is where things take a turn for the worst, can T.K. keep his attention on just Hope?  Cerberus isn’t exactly a threat that can be ignored…”

“T.K. should just knock the guy out, end of problem!”

“5!”  The count is getting desperately close now as the two giants stare off, of course yet again T.K. seems to be making a mistake as Robert Hope grabs him from behind and whips the big man straight into the steel ring post, face first!  “6!”  With the Evolution of Man dazed, the Prophet forces T.K. to roll in the ring as to continue this match up.  “7”  Hope rolls into the ring, finally returning the match to some semblance of order as Sanu looks fed up with the two’s lack of discipline in this contest.  The man who claims to be the Dragon Tamer continues his attack on the lower back of the near seven foot hall of famer with an elbow drop before turning around and grabbing T.K. by the arm and chin to lock in a cross face submission maneuver!  The fans watch in horror as T.K.’s free hand is more than too far from the ropes to cause a rope break.  What will T.K. do now as he struggles between his desire to win against his need to walk into BAAB fully able to compete.  Hope continues to apply the pressure, ready to win this contest as he’s slowly wearing himself down trying to keep up with his much larger foe.  How many more tricks will he have to pull out of the bag to win this one?

“This match has been a roller coaster of action, back and forth between both men.  I have to wonder what Hope would do without Cerberus though…”

“Likely get torn in half Teddy Boy, T.K. isn’t exactly known for his calming nature.”

The big man struggles as he makes the decision now not to quit.  Despite the clear lack of give in his expression, Sanu still pops the question.  “Do you give up?”  “Fuck off”   Sanu sighs as this contest continues and T.K. begins using his free hand to pushing himself upwards.  Hope’s eyes widen as T.K. basically does a one hand push up with him in tow!  The fans watch in awe at the Crimson Giant’s strength before T.K. rolls them to the side, throwing himself on top of the Hopeful One and grabbing the rope as Hope’s hand grabs the rope.  Leaving them at a standstill as the Prophet holds onto the submission as long as he can.  “1.2.3.4.” As soon as the submission is released the Evolution of Man rolls away gasping for air as he tries to recover from the submission.  Hope rolls back out of the ring, clearly feeling amazing as he looks beat, brawling with a man nearly a foot taller than him is taking its toll.  He can’t stay out for long though as Sanu demands he get back and the ring, and for the first time in this entire contest, the Hopeful one obliges the official leaving Ryu a bit stunned.  T.K. is still working his way up to his feet as Hope returns, giving Rob a short advantage as he runs in and catches T.K. with a running knee smash!  The Crimson Giant stumbles back, nearly falling over, but holding fast.  Hope backs up before running to try and knock T.K. down this time, only for the Evolution of Man to catch him and spin around to slam the Leader of the Hopeful into the canvas with the Spinning Spinebuster dubbed Adaptation Slam!

“And just like that, T.K.’s obtained the advantage, does Hope have any more ideas, or is this the beginning of the end?”

“Fuck yeah, break him in half T.K.!”

“Do you even care who wins this match Joey?”

“Not really, so long as they both win at the Bash, I could give a shit.  I just want to see someone kick someone’s ass.”

“well then.”

T.K. leaps up to his feet as the fans cheer he pounds his chest and takes a moment to stare down towards Cerberus, who looks visibly upset about the current look of this contest.  Not that there’s much he can do without sacrificing the match for his leader as T.K. turns back to Hope as he grabs him by the hair yet again in this contest and tosses him into the nearby turnbuckle.  The fans cheer as they all know what the Evolution of Man is about to attempt as he starts lifting the Prophet up to the top rope, though visibly struggling a bit more than usual as pain shoots through his back from the consistent punishment it’s taken throughout the match.  As T.K. begins to climb up to the top rope, Hope shows some life as he begins to retaliate, striking T.K. with elbow strikes slowing the former mixed martial artist for a moment, only for the Crimson Giant to retaliate with a hard head butt that silences the Hopeful one for the mean time as T.K. climbs all the way up and prepares for his signature Evolving Threat Superplex.  Regardless of the lack of brain cells left after receiving his second head butt of the night, Hope is able to stall as he prevents T.K. from lifting by sticking his leg forward.  The Crimson Giant tries it yet again, and fails, yet again.  The Grand Slam Champion tries one more time only to get shoved forward by his cunning foe sending the near seven foot star falling to the canvas, while taking the official down with him!

“Did… Did Ryu Sanu just stand there and not think that he might be hit?  I, fucking Asian…”

“Now Joey, everything in XWA is hard to predict.  He likely didn’t expect T.K. to fly back that far…”

“T.K. is a fucking giant of a man and he didn’t expect that he may need to be out of the way?  Sure Ted, sureee.”

Robert Hope drops down to sit on the top turnbuckle as he looks down at the carnage in the ring, neither T.K nor Sanu are moving.  The match is of course still going, and there’s no risk of a disqualification due to Ryu being taken out unintentionally.  However, even though his possible victory is being delayed, the Prophet cracks a smile and begins to laugh.  As if he never cared about victory this night, simply more about giving a message he motions to Cerberus who climbs up onto the apron.  The fans immediately begin to boo as Hope drops down to the canvas and mocks his downed foe.  Cerberus picks up the barely conscious Evolution of Man, as Hope gets in the Crimson Giant’s face.  The bad mouthing seems rather harsh before Rob signals that the Hound of Hell can finish him.  Not that the monster of a man really required any command to do so as he wraps his massive hand around T.K. throat before lifting him up in the air and the lights go out!

“What the hell?!”

“FUCKING A!”

The lights come back on to show T.K. back on the ground, no sound of impact as in his place stands Black Dragon!  The fans go crazy, as they aren’t quite sure what to think of this.  T.K. groggily looks up seeing his younger brother standing in the way of the Hound of Hell and him.  Clearly confused, Robert Hope commands Cerberus to take care of the former XWA tag champion.  Dragon ducks under a punch before catching the Hound of Hell with a Pele Kick that sends the near 7 footer into the ring ropes.  Dragon then runs to the other side of the ring before rebounding and hitting Cerberus with a Cactus Clothesline to take both men out of the ring.  The fans are going nuts as everything has dissolved into absolute chaos.  Meanwhile, Hope sees that Sanu and T.K. are starting to stir and realizes that he needs to find a way to finish this and quick.  Lest he lose an opportunity to walk out victorious.

  “This is madness…”

“Madness?  THIS IS VENDETTA!”

“Did you just…”

“I did, now shut up and commentate.”

Sanu gets up to see Hope preparing to apply his finishing Dragon Tamer, and groggily gets in position.  While his dedication is to be praised, he won’t have to be watching for a tap out as T.K. refuses to allow his foe to lock in the finishing hold.  Instead he slowly pushes himself up, and the Prophet with him.  Hope instantly starts hitting T.K. with strikes and kicks, hoping to cut him down to size, with little avail as T.K. stares through him before charging forward and slamming Hope into the turnbuckle before stepping back as the Hopeful one stumbles forward back into his arms as T.K. throws him up with a release belly to belly suplex!  The fans are cheering wildly as T.K. stands proud, before grabbing Hope by his arms and lifting him up into position for an Evo-Bomb!  Hooking the arms, the Evolution of Man lifts the Prophet up, before dropping him down with authority and holding him down for the pin count.  “1…2…3!”

“DING DING DING”

“Here is your winner…. T.K.!”

As Evolution by Korn plays over the arena, T.K. drops back into the ropes, exhausted from the effort, before looking at the stage as Dragon stands staring down at him.  His outfit torn from his brawl with Cerberus, looking like Dragon may not have walked out victorious as the monster grabs his leader and helps him out of the ring, looking none the worse for wear.  T.K. doesn’t take his eyes off his younger brother however, as he knows either they’ll be seeing face to face for the first time in years, or his career will be over.
