Robert Hope was born Robert Michael Anthony Hopewell on 21st December 1989. Raised in rural Ohio as an only child, Hopewell was often left to his own devices to do whatever he wandered in to. Son to foster parents, Hopewell often exhibited unpredictable and violent mood swings and often put on grand displays for attention. Hopewell would often be left alone for several hours through the day while both foster parents worked, only watched over by his teen babysitter, and kindred spirit. The babysitter would often encourage Hopewell to indulge in destructive activity for his own amusement. The babysitter, Anthony, would then allow Hopewell a taste of any alcohol he wanted from the cabinet in the house as a reward, and spend hours upon hours indoctrinating Hopewell on the 'thrills of being bad'. This behaviour nurtured Hopewell into becoming an emotionally jaded and damaged man, who, in later life, would not be able to hold down a job or formal education, despite his keen mind and exceptional intelligence. He would, however, mould these facets into committing a number of petty thefts, black mail and extortion. Robert was also well versed in manipulating those around him into letting him get away with a myriad of abhorrent activities. Eventually, after getting his 14 year old girlfriend pregnant, he left his home at the age of 16 and hitch hiked his way to California. He got into wrestling, wanting a way to vent his anger he has inside himself, but instead belittles and berates everyone around him. In recent years, he has developed a Messiah complex of sorts. He honestly believes that it is his duty to destroy those who are not 'Hopeful', and he does so with reckless abandon.

Has links to former XWA champion, Kanimaniac. Though the true nature of their relationship is not known.

A violent and calculated wrestler, who does his level best to hurt his opponents in the most twisted way possible. He believes that he is on a crusade to cleanse XWA of people who he deems to not have hope for the future. It is unclear who he means exactly, or what parameters one must reach to be deemed 'hopeful', but those who he targets are often beaten until they can barely remember their name.

Also goes under the name "King Robert the Dragon Tamer", after appointing himself the King of XWA after claiming he was actually Kanimaniac under the Dragon Tamer's mask. On the Vendetta after United Xtreme, Hope proclaimed that it was his right as 2010 King of Xtreme (as Kanimaniac) to state his claim to a throne in XWA, and he did just that.
