Making the report a bit more suspect is the fact that The Expendables 4 has not yet been confirmed by anyone, though Stallone has said that there are plans for a fourth entry. The third entry hasn't even opened yet; it does so on August 15th. However, Stallone has reportedly been lining up names and Pierce Brosnan said last month that he was signed on for a future entry in the franchise, so it is entirely possible.
