I hate doing this last minute, but I may need an extension. Not a long one, just an hour or two. I woke up late today. I already have my entire post mapped out and am about a third of the way done, but I'm not sure I can finish by the deadline.

M9 | Robert Hope vs. Danny Diamond Empty
PostSubject: Re: M9 | Robert Hope vs. Danny Diamond    M9 | Robert Hope vs. Danny Diamond EmptySat Aug 09, 2014 12:36 am

The two extraordinary wrestlers stare down one another from across the squared circle, every bit of tension that has been building up over the past month pulsing through their veins. Slowly, Hope and Diamond inch close to each other, eventually coming face-to-face as an exchange of words begins. Only those with the power to read lips can tell what they're saying, but whatever it is ends with a very abrupt slap to the face from the man whom used to call himself Kanimaniac. Danny turns his head as he gets smacked and rubs his cheek with the palm of his hand, before turning back to Robert. In one swift, fluid motion, Danny lunges forward, taking out the legs of Hope and dropping him spine-first onto the canvas before pouncing on him with punch after punch. The strikes come quick and hard as the audience cheers wildly for the Englishman beating the holy hell out of the villainous Robert Hope. The cheering comes to a very abrupt halt, however, as Hope quickly pokes Danny in the eye, causing him to back off. The apparent Hall of Famer gets back to his feet and nails Diamond with a kick to the mid-section, forcing him to bend over, before clubbing him over the back repeatedly with forearm shots. Robert latches onto the head and trunks of Danny, looking to send him out of the ring, but Danny puts on the brakes whilst landing a quick, yet effective elbow strike to the mid-section of his opposition, proceeding to send Hope through the ropes just as he had planned to do to the Englishman. Robert hits the floor outside of the ring with a thud, as Danny takes a moment to regain his vision after being poked in the eye. He notices Hope getting back to his feet on the outside of the ring and he raises a fist into the air, garnering cheers from his beloved fans, before rushing towards the ropes opposing where Hope is. Danny rebounds off of those ropes and then speeds in the opposite direction before leaping into a Suicide Dive! However, Hope managed to move out of the way, but Danny saw this just as his feet left the canvas, so he quickly raised his arms up, blocking himself from going out of the ring by having his arms hit the top rope! Robert stumbles away, thinking Danny had just crashed and burned, whilst Diamond decides another aerial tactic, as he climbs the turnbuckle. Slowly but steadily, Danny makes his way to the very top of the turnbuckle, looking to come away from this with a big move in mind. The first ever UltraViolent Champion reaches the top rope and leaps as high as he can, a leap that would make many in the Basketball industry jealous, coming crashing down on Hope outside of the ring with an absolutely beautiful Cross Body! The fans continue cheering rowdily as Danny pulls himself back to his feet, excitedly, before slamming his hands on the ring apron and then throwing them into the air.

Ted Cedar
"The action is already fast-paced in this match as Danny takes Hope down with a huge Cross Body!"

Joey Miles
"Yes, he can do a very basic high flying move. Whoopdy-fucking-doo. I'll be impressed when he does a 630 Corkscrew Shooting Star Senton."

Ted Cedar
"Is that even possible?"

Joey Miles
"I don't know. I'm sure Mack's botched an attempt at trying one."

Danny, finally beginning to settle down, looks at the downed Hope with a grin on his face. He grabs the madman by his head and begins pulling him back to his feet, before latching onto his wrist and attempting an Irish Whip. The valiant Hope reverses, however, as he seends Diamond unstoppably rushing towards the steel post, Danny connecting head-first with it. The fans jeer Hope's reversal, but he's far from done. The maniacal one sizes up his foe before leaping into the air and connecting with what would normally be a beautiful Dropkick that has turned very ugly as he kicks the side of Danny's head, crushing it into the steel post! Fans all throughout the arena cringe at the sight of Diamond's head getting sandwiched between Hope's feet and the steel post, as Danny drops to a knee, only being able to stay up that much because he's got an arm wrapped around the steel post. By now, Hope has realized that XWA referee Ryu Sanu has been counting and has reached a count of five. He quickly slides into the squared circle and then back out, forcing Ryu to restart his count from the beginning, much to his dismay. As Sanu yells for Robert to get back in the ring, he ignores the official's wishes and heads back over to Danny, whom he grabs just under his chin, pulling him back to a vertical base. Hope wraps his arms around the mid-section of Danny and runs straight forward into the security barricade, Danny's back hitting hard against it. He follows this up with numerous Shoulder Thrusts to the mid-section of "The Prized Gem", each one causing his back to bounce off of the barricade, which is known to have very thin padding. Following the Shoulder Thrusts, Robert slowly takes a few steps back, leading up to the side of the ring, making sure to take in the atmosphere as he does so, wanting to savor every moment of this beating. He lets out a sadistic grin before rushing forward at Danny only to run straight into the boot of the former World Heavyweight Champion! The raised boot to his face causes Robert to stumble backwards, resting against the ring apron as he tries to shake off the cobwebs. He doesn't get long to recover, however, with Danny rushing straight towards him! Thinking quickly, or perhaps acting on reflexes, Hope ducks down, flipping Danny over-head and sending him crashing, Diamond's legs hitting the ropes as his back slams hard against the very hard ring apron! Danny bounces back, due to his legs hitting the ropes, and falls to the floor outside of the ring following the Back Body Drop. Hope shakes his head quickly, continuing to try getting rid of the pain in his face, before smiling at the pain he sees Danny is in.

Ted Cedar
"Ouch! Danny was just thrown back-first into that ring apron! Remember folks, the ring apron is the hardest part of the ring. Getting thrown into it, especially in a way such as that, will definitely hurt."

Joey Miles
"Ahh, the risks of being a wrestler. This is why I stick behind the commentary table."

Ted Cedar
"But aren't you a wrestler for HK—"

Joey Miles
"Shut the fuck up, Theodore."

With Ryu now at a count of six, Hope grabs Danny by his head and pulls him over to the ring, sliding him in under the bottom rope. He then follows in after him, making sure to push the Englishman away from the ropes before going for a cover. Ryu's hand comes down once, but before it can come down a second time, Danny kicks out. The violent man stands on his knees, as he looks down at Danny. "This is an unwinnable war, Daniel. You shouldn't have ever questioned me," the sinister superstar says to his opponent. He yanks him back up to a perpendicular base, grabbing a hold of his wrist as he does so and proceeding to Irish Whip "The Shine" into a corner of the ring. Robert slides back into the contrasting corner of the ring, shaking his shoulders in an attempt to loosen up a bit. "The Prophet" grabs a hold of the top rope with both hands, one on either side of him, leaning forward as he does so to stretch. Once he's ready to attack, Hope speeds forward, going as fast as he can towards Danny before crashing into him, crushing the Englishman between himself and the turnbuckles! Diamond, groggy from the attack, drops down into a seated position in the corner of the ring. Hope begins stomping into his adversary, relentless in his attack, despite the official's warning to let him out of the corner. As Ryu starts a count to five that could end with the disqualification of Hope, the formerly masked wrestler stops stomping on Danny and takes a step back, letting the referee see that he's stop bending the rules. This doesn't last very long, however; Hope quickly pressing the sole of his boot against the neck of Danny in a blatant attempt to choke him. Again, Ryu tries to step in and force the break, but it's to no avail, so he once more has to resort to counting. Much-like last time, Hope stops his assault at a count of four, taking a few steps back just after he does so. Hope points at Danny with both hands, a sick grin still plastered on his face. The malevolent man rushes forward, attempting to bring his knee into the face of his seated adversary, but Danny quickly rolls out of the ring and Hope connects knee-first to the middle turnbuckle! "Son of a bitch!" yells Hope, as he grabs a hold of his hurt knee, only to quickly be pulled backwards into a roll-up! Ryu goes for the count, as the fans all throughout the arena chant along, almost reaching three, but Hope kicks out just in time! The two men shoot back to their feet after the kickout and Robert absolutely drills Danny with a Clothesline that is heard all throughout the arena! The audience boos as Hope has once again taken control of this match.

Ted Cedar
"Danny almost had it with that roll-up, but Hope was able to kick out and deliver an absolutely brutal Clothesline."

Joey Miles
"Danny didn't almost have it. What the fuck match are you watching? All I saw was Hope kick out, with plenty of time, and then proceed to take Danny's fucking head off like the guillotine that killed Tom in the episode of Tom and Jerry that scarred me for life."

Hope, quite angered by the persistence of Danny in this match, rains down stomps all over the anatomy of "The Rubix Cube". He heatedly hauls Diamond back to his feet and begins hammering away at the Englishman with elbow shots to the cheek. Each shot staggers Danny, whom dazedly stands there, unwillingly taking each shot from his adversary until Hope decides to go for something else. He pulls his opponent into another Irish Whip, this one sending Danny towards the ropes, which he ricochets off of. Hope bends over, looking for a second Back Body Drop, but instead all he finds is a kick directly to his chest that shoots him straight back to a vertical base! Now it's Danny's turn to fight back with elbow shot after elbow shot to the face of his opponent. Danny's shots aren't as calculated as Hope's, him aiming for whatever he can hit instead of going after the same spot each time, but they're damn sure just as effective. Now with Hope feeling a bit unsteady, Danny turns around and rushes towards the ropes. After bouncing off of them this time, things don't go as well for Danny as they did the last time, Hope quickly spinning into a Discus Lariat that turns the well-liked superstar inside-out! Danny lands face-down on the canvas as Hope stumbles a bit, trying to maintain his composure after all of those elbow shots to the face. He looks at the downed Danny and then over at a corner of the ring, before turning his attention back to Diamond. "The Prophet" nods his head, as if he's agreeing with himself on what he's about to do next. He heads over to the nearest corner of the ring and hops onto the apron, before beginning to ascend the ropes. Steadily, making sure not to slip on the sweat-covered ropes and turnbuckles, Hope makes his way to the very top where he stalks his opponent like a vulture on a dead animal. It's apparent he's setting up for his signature Diving DDT, but for that to work, he needs Danny on his feet. This soon becomes a reality, as "The Prized Gem" finally begins getting back up to a perpendicular base, slowly but surely. He cracks his neck as he makes it up to one knee, trying to alleviate some of the pain he's feeling after taking that brutal Discus Lariat and the earlier Clothesline. It appears Danny has noticed Hope out of the corner of his eye, however, so before he makes it all the way back to his feet, he quickly launches himself at the ropes, bouncing down on the top rope and causing a vibration that forces Robert to slip on the turnbuckle! With Hope landing in a very uncomfortable way, Danny heads over to his opposition and nails him with a hard right handed strike to the face. He follows this up by climbing onto the middle turnbuckle, proceeding to wrap his arms around the waist of Hope. With the audience looking on in excitement at what's about to happen, Danny pulls Hope with every bit of strength he has, flipping him off of the turnbuckle and releasing him, whilst falling backwards, with a humungous Avalanche Northern Lights Suplex! As Hope and Danny crash on the canvas, the audience bursts into cheers at the big move!

Ted Cedar
"What a huge Northern Lights Suplex by Danny! Can he capitalize?!"

Joey Miles
"Fuck! Hope's not moving. Cerberus, get down here you bag of cuntjuice!"

Both men are down as the referee looks on, unsure of whether or not he should begin a ten count. That question is answered for him as Danny slowly begins to crawl towards his opposition. He manages to lean himself against Hope and slightly hook the leg, but he's not able to put the effort in needed for a full hook. Nevertheless, the pin is there and Ryu goes for the count, but Hope manages to get his shoulder up at two and a half, much to the fan's disappointment. Danny angrily slams his hand off of the canvas, due to frustration beginning to set in, but he keeps his eyes on the ball. "The Prized Gem" grabs Hope by his head and begins pulling him back to his feet, whilst also himself getting up in the process. Robert fights back, however, landing plentiful punches to the mid-section of Danny. He makes it back to his feet and now he starts throwing rights into the face of his opposition. Each punch causes Danny to inch back a tiny bit, until his back is up to the corner of the ring and he has nowhere to go. With the referee again getting on his case for not letting Danny out of the corner, Hope turns around and walks away, heading to the opposite corner. He cracks his neck as he makes his way there, but swiftly turning around and rushing forward at Danny. This time, Hope leaps into the air, looking for a Stinger Splash, but Danny is able to move out of the way just in time and Hope goes face-first into the top turnbuckle! The damage to his head doesn't stop there, however, as Danny quickly drills him with a powerful Roundhouse Kick to the back of the head that echoes all throughout the arena. Hope, fortunately for him, doesn't drop to the canvas. Instead, he falls forward, leaning against the turnbuckles. Of course, this doesn't stay fortunate for long, as it gives Danny an idea. Diamond spins Hope around and proceeds to power him onto the top turnbuckle in a seated position, following up by pulling Hope's feet over the top rope and having him face the outside of the ring. The Englishman then heads onto the ring apron, as the fans look on, very interested in seeing where this goes. Danny rises up the turnbuckle, reaching the middle where, where he wraps his arm around his foe's neck in a Uranage position. Whilst making sure to maintain perfect balance, as this is a very dangerous situation for both men, Danny steps up onto the top rope, pulling his opponent with him as he does so. Danny looks behind him, seeing nothing but the thinly padded floor outside of the ring and he takes in a deep breath, ready for what's about to happen. "The Shine" leaps into a back flip, pulling his opponent with him and the two men crash all the way to the outside courtesy of a Danny Diamond Seismic Toss, otherwise known as a Uranage Back Flip or a C4! "This Is Awesome" chants start up after a brief moment of heavy cheering for the huge move, the fans loving every minute of this match.

Ted Cedar
"The Seismic Toss all the way to the outside! Both men are down and the official is starting his count! Will either man be able to get back into the ring in time?"

Joey Miles
"Man, that would be anticlimactic as fuck if they couldn't."

Both men are down and Ryu has no choice but to begin a ten count. The audience is still chanting "This Is Awesome" at the last moment of the match, though those chants slowly quiet down as fans notice the condition both superstars are in after the huge fall. Neither superstar is moving an inch all the way until Sanu reaches a count of four. Finally, Danny begins to stir, albeit very gradually. He crawls over to the ring, steadily, not wanting this match to end in a draw or even a count out victory. Using the ring skirt for help, Danny begins pulling himself back to a vertical base. By the time the referee reaches a count of seven, Danny slides into the ring and quickly back out to force him to restart the count, as the fans cheer for Diamond not wanting to win by count out. Danny stumbles his way over to Hope, still a bit disorientated from the Seismic Toss, before pulling him back to his feet. Now it's Danny going for an Irish Whip, which he does with so much force, sending Hope into the steel steps, that he crashes knees first into them, not only flipping Robert over the steps but also causing the top half to pop straight off! Not wanting to let up an inch on his attack, Danny heads over to Hope, beginning to feel a bit less disorientated, and he yanks the slightly heavier man back to his feet. Grabbing Hope by the back of his head, Danny slams him face-first into the bottom half of the steel steps! He repeats this process a good four times, forcing Hope's face into the steps over and over again until he was satisfied. After finally letting go of Hope's head, he stumbles away, towards the security barricade. Danny is far from done, however, so he stalks his opposition before spinning him around and drilling him with a right punch to the face, followed by a left and then another right. With something in mind, Danny kicks Robert in the mid-section, proceeding to apply a Front Facelock and hooking Hope's arm around his neck in the process. Danny attempts to lift Hope off of the ground and send him stomach-first onto the barricade with a Gourdbuster, but Hope fights it! Hope plants his feet firmly on the ground and punches Danny in the mid-section before reversing his Gourdbuster attempt into a Suplex; Danny crashing back-first on the very top of the barricade! The fans let out a very loud, yet very negative reaction to what they just saw as Danny screams in pain from the awkward landing he just suffered. With the official nearing a count of ten, Hope quickly slides into the ring and back out, breaking the count again as he has Danny right where he wants him and he doesn't want a cheap win right now. He wants to prove that he's definitively better than his opponent. Hope pulls Danny off of the barricade and drags him back over to the steel steps that are still missing the top half. Hope walks up the steps, pulling Danny with him before placing his head in between his legs. Not even sporting his sick grin, due to the fatigue he's feeling, Hope pulls Danny upside-down, holding him there for a brief moment to let the blood rush to his head and, more importantly, let the audience watch as their hero is about to be destroyed. Hope leaps into the air, before bringing Danny down head-first on the steel steps with a massive Jumping Piledriver! Some fans cringe as others boo heavily, but Danny simply slumps down to to the canvas, unable to even move after that devastating Piledriver.

Ted Cedar
"Oh my God! Danny might have a concussion after that Piledriver!"

Joey Miles
"I love being a part of a company where Piledrivers are legal. DO IT AGAIN, HOPE! BREAK HIS FUCKING NECK!"

Hope, now letting his sick grin shine through, despite the pain he's suffered throughout this match, takes a moment to truly appreciate what he's just done, as if he had just painted a masterpiece. "This is your hero now!" shouts the demented wrestler. He gets back to it, remembering that there's a referee in the ring counting both of them out right now. Picking a damn near unconscious Danny back up is a harder task that it may sound, but Hope manages to get him in the ring. He slides in after him and again makes sure he's not close enough to the ropes for a rope break before going for a cover. Ryu smacks his hand off of the canvas twice, damn near making the third count before Danny kicks out! "What?!" yells Hope, clearly aggravated by this kickout. He slams his palm off of the canvas before getting back to his feet and getting in the face of Ryu Sanu. The referee is clearly intimidated, but he tries his best not to let it show as he reminds Hope that he's the official and if he puts his hands on him, this match will be over. Hope turns his attention back to Danny and, feeling the end has got to be near, his grin pops back on his face, "The Prophet" realizing what he's about to do. "Let's end this thing, shall we?" Robert rhetorically asks, before pulling Danny back to his feet. It's clear what the insane one has on his mind, his finishing maneuver, the Hope For The Future, otherwise known as a Hangman's Neckbreaker! The fans boo heavily as their hero may be about to lose, Robert setting up for the move by latching onto his opponent's head. He spins around so the two are back-to-back, but Danny begins fighting back! He lands an elbow shot to the ribs of his adversary, followed by a second and then a third! The third shot causes Robert to let go and Danny, perhaps running on adrenaline alone, spins Hope around and drills him with a loud European Uppercut! He proceeds to Irish Whip the alleged Hall of Famer into a corner of the ring, before racing towards him, leaping into the air and drilling Hope with both of his knees to land the Reconstruction! Hope stumbles out of the corner, almost dropping, but Danny catches him before he can, not being done yet. He kicks his opponent in the mid-section, before placing his head between his legs and applying a Double Underhook. Danny quickly raises Hope upside down into the air, before jumping into a seated position and pulling Hope head-first into the canvas with a Piledriver of his own, better known as the Tiger Driver '98, but known to Diamond's fans as the Smell Of Death! Danny goes for the cover, as the crowd counts along with the referee! One! Two! Thr—But Robert gets the shoulder up! Now it's Danny beginning to get frustrated, but he tries to remain cool. The Englishman gets back to his feet and looks around, the audience cheering him on. His next plan of action pops into his head, as Danny drags the downed Hope towards the nearest turnbuckle, leaving him laid out in front of it. Danny hops onto the apron and ascends the turnbuckle to the very top, each step seeming like a mile for the tired and worn out superstar. Upon reaching the top, and getting his balance just right, Danny stands up-right and leaps into the air, twisting and contorting his body as he looks for the Diamond Press; a Corkscrew Shooting Star Press! Instead of landing flush, however, Danny lands with his opponent's raised knees pressing into his mid-section!

Ted Cedar
"Danny went for the Diamond Press, but Hope was able to get his knees up just in time to avoid the maneuver."

Joey Miles
"Yes, that's what happened. That is exactly what everyone saw happen. Everybody saw it, with their own eyes, yet you insist on telling them what they just saw. Go to hell."

Once again, both men are down. The fatigue is really setting in at this point of the match, as the two don't move an inch in the ring. Ryu is forced to start a ten count that could potentially lead to a draw, much to the crowd's dismay. The fans cheer passionately, in an attempt to will Danny back to his feet or even get Robert up, as long as the match doesn't end in a draw. By the count of five, both men begin to stir. Hope rolls over to the ropes, which he uses to help begin pulling himself back to his feet, as Danny tries to stand in the center of the ring. With the fans continuing to cheer them on, Ryu gets dangerously close to ending the match as he reaches eight, but he notices Hope finally making it to his feet and the match will continue! The two men try to regain their composure, but as soon as Hope sees Danny standing, he nails him with a vicious right hook. Danny, albeit slowly, responds with a punch of his own. The two men begin exchanging slow, but powerful shots that nearly drop the opponent each time. With each punch from Hope comes a lot of booing from the audience, but with each punch from Danny comes cheers. It's "The Prized Gem" whom comes out victorious in this battle of punches, landing a few unanswered shots before turning around and running to the ropes. He rebounds off of them and returns, ducking under an attempt punch from Hope, before leaping into theair and landing on the middle rope, which he uses to springboard himself into a back flip, Danny looking for a Moonsault! Hope moves out of the way, but Danny manages to land on his feet, showcasing his cat-like reflexes. He goes for a second Roundhouse Kick to Hope, but the leader of The Hopeful ducks under it and drills Danny with an elbow shot to the face! He follows this up with a few punches, alternating between each fist, staggering the Englishman. Hope takes a few steps back before hurrying forward and looking for a Clothesline, but Danny ducks and Hope nearly crashes into the referee! He stops himself just in time, but as he turns around he sees Diamond's foot aiming for his throat, Danny looking for his finishing Superkick dubbed the Sudden Death! Hope quickly dodges to the side, but Ryu wasn't as lucky, being stricken straight in the throat by the sole of Diamond's boot! Danny looks down at the referee with shock on his face, as he clearly didn't mean to do what he just did. Suddenly, Robert comes from behind with a low blow that drops Danny to his knees, as the audience jeers heavily.

Ted Cedar
"The official was just in the wrong place at the wrong time right there. Danny damn near took his head off!"

Joey Miles
"I love when referees get fucked up. It's so much fun to watch."

Hope looks at the downed referee, as the sick grin returns to his face. Clearly having an idea in mind, Robert exits the ring and heads over to the commentary area, pushing the time keeper out of his seat and then proceeding to take that very seat from him! With a steel chair now in hand, Robert folds it and tosses it back into the ring, before sliding in after it. He grabs the steel chair and slams it off of the ring canvas multiple times, loosening himself up a bit as he waits for Danny to get back to his feet, Hope nearly salivating at the thought of nailing his foe with this steel chair. Once Danny's finally vertical, Robert raises the chair before swinging it like the madman that he is, but Danny quickly shoots his foot into the air, Superkicking the chair back into Hope's face! The fans erupt in cheers after the surprising reversal from Danny, whom tiredly drops atop Hope in a pinning predicament, but there's no referee to make the count! The audience counts to six, before Danny finally gets off of Hope and goes to check on the official. Whilst he's checking on Ryu, the audience's cheers turn very abruptly into boos, causing Danny to turn around and see what's going on. He turns right into the hand of Hope's lapdog, Cerberus! The gigantic man wraps his hand around the throat of Danny before lifting him as high into the air as he possibly can and slamming him very powerfully back-first into the canvas with the Hellfire, otherwise known as a Chokeslam! The fans boo heavily as Danny is laid out by this behemoth of a man behind the referee's back. He quickly pulls an exhausted Hope on top of Danny before exiting the ring. Ryu slowly begins to stir, noticing the pin out of the corner of his eye. Ryu slowly crawls over to the two men, so that he could get a clear view of Danny's shoulders, before counting the pin. Despite the very slow speed of the pin count, the audience can feel the match ending, as Ryu slams his hand off of the canvas twice, before looking for the third count. Just in the nick of time, however, Danny raises his shoulder off of the canvas! The audience bursts into cheers as Danny somehow kicks out of the Hellfire and a look of desperation comes across the face of Robert Hope!

Ted Cedar
"How did Danny just kick out of the Hellfire?!"

Joey Miles
"It was a slow ass count! Fucking biased ref!"

Ted Cedar
"Joey, he just got kicked in the throat."

Joey Miles
"So? That just means he should be biased AGAINST Danny."

Hope, clearly very frustrated at this point, slams both of his open palms off of the canvas numerous times. He, little by little, gets back to his feet, still very angered that Danny kicked out. Hope viciously rains down stomps on the Englishman, not caring where they land as long as they hurt a hell of a lot. Once he's finally calmed himself down a bit, Hope looks to continue his onslaught and parlay it into a victory. He grabs Diamond by the head and leisurely begins pulling him back to his feet, when Danny suddenly pushes him back and hops back to his feet, drilling away at him with rights as he again runs on adrenaline alone! The fans cheer the offensive assault from "The Rubix Cube" as he fights with everything left in him right now, before spinning into a Discus Lariat of his own that he dubs Die Tonight! Danny takes a brief moment to catch his breath, as he stumbles a bit, noticeably having a hard time standing right now. Suddenly, he notices something happening at the ropes. Cerberus is making his presence known once again, as he stands on the ring apron, the referee trying to tell him to step off. Danny walks up to the big man, simply pushing Ryu out of the way before drilling Cerberus with a powerful right hook! Of course, as strong as the punch was, all this managed to do was piss off a giant. Cerberus grabs Danny by the throat again. Suddenly, Robert comes up from behind, looking to ram into Danny, but Danny is able to pull Cerberus' hand off of him and move, having heard Hope's footsteps! Hope crashes into Cerberus by accident, knocking him straight off of the apron! Not wanting to take his eyes off the ball, Hope quickly turns around, but he receives a Sudden Death Superkick straight to the throat for his efforts! Both men collapse following the move, due to exhaustion, but Danny manages to land on his opponent as he fell. Seeing this, Ryu quickly drops down, looking for the three count. With the audience counting along with him, Ryu slams his hand off of the canvas three times, the match finally coming to an end!

DING! DING! DING!

Ted Cedar
"Danny wins!"

Joey Miles
"FUCK!"

The official helps Danny back to his feet and raises his hand, the Englishman soaking in the cheers throughout the entire arena, as he tries to keep himself on his feet.

Laura Watts
"Here is your winner, by pinfall, Danny Diamond!"

Ryu lets go of Diamond's hand as he stumbles over to the ropes, using them to keep himself at a perpendicular base. The former World Heavyweight Champion looks down at Hope, whom is slowly trying to pull himself back up. Being the respectful superstar he's become recently, Danny extends his hand to Hope in an effort to help him back to his feet. "The Prophet" looks at the Englishman's hand and then at his face, pondering what he should do right now. After a brief moment of contemplation, Hope accepts the hand of Danny, grabbing onto it and being pulled back up, the two men shaking hands as soon as he reaches a vertical base.

Ted Cedar
"Wow, Robert Hope is shaking Danny Diamond's hand? I never thought I'd see this."

Joey Miles
"What the fuck is this shit? Somebody punch somebody!"

Danny smiles as Hope smiles back at him, the two men continuing to shake hands. Diamond pats Hope on the shoulder and goes to turn around, but he finds himself unable to move away. The reason for this becomes clearly instantly as Danny turns back around to realize Hope has yet to let go of his hand. The smile on Hope's face begins slowly morphing into a sinister grin as he quickly raises his knee into the groin of his former opponent, nailing Danny in his "gemstones". The audience bursts out loud in boos as Danny drops to his knees, proceeding to flop onto the canvas, holding onto his groin in the process.

Ted Cedar
"I should've seen this coming!"

Joey Miles
"Now that's more like it!"

Ted Cedar
"You actually condone this kind of attitude, Joey?"

Joey Miles
"Not only do I condone it, but I also am perfectly okay with it!"

Hope looks out of the ring and notices Cerberus almost back at his feet, after being accidentally knocked down earlier by him. He whistles to get the big man's attention, calling him into the ring. Cerberus does as he's instructed and enters the ring, whilst Sanu checks on Diamond. Once the monstrous man is in the ring, Robert speaks to him, giving him his orders. Like the loyal puppet that he is, Cerberus pushes Ryu out of the way and grabs a hold of Danny by the throat, yanking him off of the canvas and holding him, single-handedly, into the air by his neck before powerfully slamming him back down ala a Chokeslam dubbed the Hellfire! The fans continue to jeer loudly as Danny is thrown about like a ragdoll by this powerful beast of a man.

Ted Cedar
"Come on, enough is enough! You lost the damn match, just get outta here!"

Hope, as if he heard Ted's plea, motions for Cerberus to exit the ring. The two members of The Hopeful go to leave the squared circle, when Hope looks back and notices Danny pulling himself back up, slowly but surely. He stops Cerberus and tells him to turn around, pointing at Danny and demanding he keep him down. Cerberus tilts his head at Danny like a confused puppy, unsure of why the Englishman would try getting back to his feet after taking a second Hellfire. Nevertheless, he's determined to obey his masters orders as he quickly paces towards Danny, whom is now on one knee, before booting him in the side of the head. Cerberus is far from done, however, as he pulls Danny back to his feet before lifting him into the air, turning him upside down in the process and setting up for a Piledriver of Tombstone variety, known as The Damned Driver. The fans all throughout the arena continue to boo, as Hope looks on with a grin as wide as his face will allow it. Cerberus steps up onto his toes before driving down onto his knees, forcing Danny to go head-first into the canvas! The Englishman lies on the floor of the ring, not moving an inch, as Hope calls Cerberus back. The two men exit the ring whilst Ryu quickly slides back in to check on Danny, shortly after calling for help. Hope laughs his way back up the entrance ramp next to his silent partner, as EMTs rush down by their sides.

Ted Cedar
"I can't believe this sick display by Robert Hope and Cerberus!"

Joey Miles
"I can. I'm just surprised Hope has left Danny breathing."

EMTs enter the ring to check on Danny as the show fades out to the next segment.
