The leading candidate to induct Razor Ramon into the WWE Hall of Fame next weekend is former world champion Kevin Nash (aka Diesel). The two are long-time friends, and made the jump to WCW together in the '90s to form the NWO. However, it appears WWE is trying to downplay Scott Hall's role in WCW and play up his WWE career for this year's event, hence him going in as "Razor Ramon". There's been some talk of Shawn Michaels doing the induction. If a big name like HBK were to appear at the Hall of Fame, an announcement will likely be made on Raw next week to promote the appearance.
SummerSlam Sold-Out
The 2014 WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view is already sold-out on Ticketmaster. For the sixth year in a row, SummerSlam will take place from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA. The arena holds between 14,000 – 17,000 fans at max capacity.
WWE Buying WWC Library?
It is possible that WWE is inducting Carlos Colon into the Hall of Fame this year because they are attempting to buy-out his World Wrestling Council tape library. WWE has been slowly acquiring tape libraries for years, many of which are now showing up on the WWE Network. Obviously that would allow WWE to show footage from the Puerto Rican wrestling scene that most American wrestling fans have never seen before.
