The verizon Centre is lit up like a christmas tree on this particularly mild March night, and the latest edition of XWA has come to the nation's capital to put on the usual quality of sports entertainment that you would see each and every week.

Danny Davis and Paul Mitchell, two of Washington's local independant wrestling stars, are making their way through the parking lot to their respective vehicles, discussing their upcoming matches and shows that they are involved in, what tryouts they're due to recieve for which promotion, and of course how they feel their dark match tryouts for XWA went this very evening. Danny feels positive that his tryout went well against one of XWA's developing talents, however Paul Mitchell, the slightly larger of the two feels that his opponent simply tried to make him look bad on purpose, and refused to really put up much of an effort.
Paul reaches into his bag to retrieve his car keys when they are shocked and startled by the sudden appearance of a figure in front of them, one that given his recent activities would give them cause for some alarm.

"Just wanted to say you guys performed really really well this evening, i think management is really impressed with both of you,"

The source of the sound remains off camera but the look of uncertainty across both men's faces is clear, they do not usher a word as the faceless voice continues,

"Come on guys, what's the matter? We're all professionals here right?"

finally Danny feeling marginally calmer than Paul stutters into spoken word.

"It's.... It's... Just that noone's really expecting you here tonight Man, word from the locker room was that you were suspended?"

"Oh that? Yeah, i guess you could say i'm technically suspended, but that just means i'm excluded from sanctioned competition. that ends just around Chain Reaction so you shouldn't be surprised to see me here keeping a close eye on things, i mean, guys... We all gotta get paid right?"

Paul and Danny look at eachother and understand this anonymous voice's point of view, the independent scene for Professional Wrestling can have you eating Rice every day, sleeping in cars, washing your ring gear in the bathroom sink at the arena after your match which could potentially have been for the entertainment of maybe only a small handful of people, before you try to make the long journey to your next destination and the cycle starts again.

The anonymous figure steps into view between the two independent wrestlers and places his arms over each of their shoulders as a show of comradery, it's Dylan Breywell.

"Now come on, let's go get a beer and we can discuss what we saw tonight huh, who's driving?!"

Paul nods towards his car and motions as though he wishes to leave without going for the proposed after work beverage with Dylan, and Danny's car is parked right next to it as the central locking lights are set off on both cars. Both Danny and Paul look to pull away from Dylan's grasp but they seem unable to, Paul pipes up.

"Listen Dylan we appreciate the offer but we've got a show to get to by tomorrow evening and it's at least half the night's drive away, so we haven't really got time, sorry dude"

once again they try to pull away from Dylan's grasp and do so unsuccessfully,

"Well boys that's a real shame... it's a real shame that we can't sit down and politely go over the little nuances of your match and i can't then calmly and politely point out to you that if you try to come back to XWA again trying to steal my spot that i'll cripple both of you, so i guess i'll have to bring the schedule forward..."

Dylan takes their heads in each of his hands and thrusts them both through the glass pane at the rear of the Paul's car, shattering the glass. Both men slump back clearly having been knocked silly by this violent act, and Breywell begins inaudibly muttering to himself about new guys coming in and trying to take his spot and compromise his push for legitimacy in the Sport.

He works himself up to such a point where he just turns and smiles at nothing, seemingly coming to a realisation. His eyes are wide, his gaze is far and his dilated pupils suggest that mr Breywell is feeling particularly unhinged this evening, he reaches down and pulls both of his victim's away from the car, each of them has begun to lose significant amounts of blood having gone through the glass, Breywell drags them across the cold hard concrete towards Danny's car, which is a 4x4 and has a very low rear tailgate, Breywell sits on the tailgate and places their heads in his lap and begins to whisper to them that he's sorry he has to do these things but it's for the sake of the future.

He pushes them back and opens the tailgate to Danny's vehicle, he first drags Danny's body and twists it into place, Danny's body is contorted up so that his buttocks rest on the rear bumper and his legs are actually in the trunk of the car, Dylan reaches down and positions Paul's body in much the same way, but instead of Paul being on his back like danny, Dylan positions Paul on his front so that the tops of his thighs are resting on the bumper.

Dylan turns to address his onlookers,

"I just want to say that i arrived at this arena tonight of my own free will, it was my decision to come, I AM suspended and i do NOT have a match tonight... not even a dark match, XWA has noone that they can find who'll fight me, it seems that Riley Williamson is not the only competitor in this company unwilling to test their mettle and will to compete against me.

And so once again i was told 'Stay home Dylan,' now why the hell would i wanna do that? Would someone please tell me? Surely not with all this fresh meat around, i'm the perfect person to test a newcomers potential, but no, instead they gave it to two dev trainees who have worked for the company only a very short while, i don't think that anyone's listening to me yet are they? I'm yet to hear or see any form of response from our oh so righteous Hardcore champion, he's refused to address to my challenge, maybe he's not taking me seriously... so if nothing else that surely shows you the level of character that XWA gives the opportunities to around here, people that aren't going to rock the boat, aren't going to push for change, aren't going to respond to a LEGITIMATE CHALLENGE...

And so here i am, once again, without pay, making my point, to the fans, to other talent, to RIILLLEEEYYY... and of course to management.

I am Dylan Breywell,

Breywell means change,

Breywell means progress,

BREYWELL IS LEGITIMACY!"

As he finishes his tirade of abuse and gesturing Dylan calmly winks and turns back to the car behind him, he places his hands on trunk lid and once more looks over his shoulder to display his joy at what he's about to do. He takes a deep breathe into his lungs and as hards as he can slams the heavy boot lid down onto the legs of Danny Davis and Paul Mitchell's whose screams of pain and agony can be heard all across the parking lot.

Dylan turns back around with a sinister smile across his face

"Is everybody paying attention now?!"

and he stalks off into the night as bystanders attempt to chase him off, Emergency medical technicians attend to the young wrestlers that have suffered at the hands of this psychotic madman and it doesn't look good for either of them, specifically Paul Mitchell who the EMTs believe could have suffered what looks like a double leg break at the femur.
