As The Undertaker looks to extend his undefeated streak to 22-0 at WrestleMania 30 against Brock Lesnar, I thought it would be a good time to look back at two men who were considered to end the streak.

A couple of years ago, Kurt Angle revealed to WrestleCast, via The Sun in the UK, that Undertaker wanted him to break the streak at WrestleMania 22 in 2006. Angle said that 'Taker pitched the idea to Vince McMahon, since he had never had a five-star match at WrestleMania up until that point. Vince obviously had different ideas, and Mark Henry went on to lose to Undertaker at the event.

Speaking of Henry, former WWE Executive and President of MLW Court Bauer and I discussed the streak on Wrestling Inc. Weekly last year, and Bauer noted that at one point it was discussed to have Henry end the streak. Henry was on a roll as a heel, and Vince said that it might be time for Henry to end the streak. If it ended right now, I wouldn't even feel as bad about it being broken than I would have if it had been broken earlier by either of those guys. Seeing the streak continue for several more years has given us more great matches to look forward to.

Agreed. If anything, the streak's been most important the past 7-8 years or so than it has ever been before.

I want to see Taker vs. Cena so everyone can have one more legitimate "Will that break the streak?!" moment.

I think the best way for it to end would be in a 3 vs 1 against The Shield... that way the streak isn't wasted on one man but instead all three benefit.

I think that just makes them looks like chumps who had to gang up on Undertaker to beat him.

Well, Undertaker held his own against the three on Smackdown before they took him out. If Undertaker is "Supposedly at his strongest at WM" I can see them being "even."

Plus, it's more about the win. It makes the streak look good since it took three people to end it, it puts The Shield over, and it's more beneficial than one person ending it.

Nonetheless, I wouldn't want to see it end.

I'm against protecting the streak at the expense of three great workers with a lot of potential.

Which is why I said I'd only go with one of those two options.

Cena should end it purely to see the IWC go into meltdown

If anyone does end it, whomever it would be would get a career's worth of incredible heel heat for it.

if it's someone young who is the one who ends it, WWE should be grooming them to take over the top spot. However I believe it should not end whatsoever.

Beating the Undertaker will not propel anyone to the #1 position in the company, sorry, it wont. Consistent booking however, will. Sadly, WWE doesnt know how to do such a thing.

The streak should NEVER be ended in my opinion.

Agreed, but he should face Cena just so people have that little bit of doubt about it ending back.
