This match has been extended until noon on 2/23. Both guys are east coasters, so I think we're all on the same time schedule.

M6 | Hitman Alex vs. JHalc Empty
PostSubject: Re: M6 | Hitman Alex vs. JHalc   M6 | Hitman Alex vs. JHalc EmptySun Feb 23, 2014 12:56 pm

[i]DING! DING! DING![/b]

Hitman and JHalc both step forward out of their corners, and start to circle each othis around the center of the ring. JHalc keeps his hands high and tight, then throws a leg kick which is caught by Hitman who immediately allows a smile to cross his face. Jay pulls his foot away from the former world champion in a struggle to free himself. Alex lets go of his leg and surges forward while he is off balance but the Intercontinental Champion is able to duck under the clothesline attempt and counterstrike with a three punch combination to his opponent's head as he tries to turn around to face his attacker. Jay sizes the man up and leaps into the air, finishing with a head kick attempt, but Hitman ducks his head and watches as Jay comes up with nothing but air before falling flat to the mat. He reaches down to take advantage but the Intercontinental scurries away and puhes back to his feet quickly. He is right on top of him as he wheels around to face his though.

Ted Cedar
Hitman is doing his best to avoid Jay's attacks so far.

Hitman fakes a punch, then drops down and dropkicks JHalc in his notoriously bad right knee. The impact throws his leg backwards and he barely avoids falling to his face on the mat by landing on the unimpacted knee. Hitman stands up, knowing he is in control. He hooks the head of JHalc for a DDT and whips himself backwards hard, spiking the crown on his head on the mat which receives a gasp from the crowd. Alex pops right back up, and tries to help Jay up to his feet to stay on the attack. As Jay gets back to his feet he shoves his off, sending his to the middle of the ring.

Ted Cedar
Jay not allowing Alex to capitalize.

Joey Miles
Hitman able to stay on his feet.

Hitman runs at JHalc who tries for a high kick. Alex again ducks the kick and moves around behind him. When Jay turns, the former world champion takes no chances, cutting him in half with a kick to the midsection before hooking him up and lifting him into the air in a suplex position. Alex holds him up for a few moments and then spins on his heel, driving Jay to the mat and positioning himself to land on top of him.

Ted Cedar
High impact offense from Hitman.

Joey Miles
Jay is going to have to try harder to stay in this one.

Hitman pins Jay but before the referee can count, he kicks out, pushing him away. Alex is back up quickly though, sending a stomp to Jay’s chest that drives the air from his lungs. He reaches down to once again assist him to his feet but Jay reaches up and thumbs him in the eye causing his to reflexively snap backwards.

Ted Cedar
Jay quickly avoids, smart guy despite bending the rules.

Jay rolls away under the ropes and stands up on the ring apron and Hitman runs at him. Hitman tries to go for a spear through the ropes but the Jack of Hearts, slingshots himself over the top rope just avoiding Hitmans spear, Hitman goes crashing through the middle rope and down to the floor.

Joey Miles
That’s the Jay we all know. Always one step ahead.

Jay rolls towards the ropes and slides out of the ring. The referee screams at him to get the action back to the inside, but his demands fall on deaf ears. Jay shakes his head and goes back to plotting without a second thought.

[1]

Jay surveys the space around the two, trying to figure out exactly what it is that he is going to need to do to capitalize. The Jack of Hearts turns his attention to the ring post before a smirk crosses his face.

[2]

He bends down grabbing Hitman by the legs. The former world champion struggles to free himself but Jay steps down hard on his midsection, driving the air out of his lungs and ceasing his struggle.

[3]

Jay firms up his grip on the man's legs and then spins him around in the air. He uses all his might and swings Hitman into the ring post. Jay actually gets scattered boos from the crowd but it does not seem to bother him in the least.

[4]

He turns towards the screaming referee and slides into the ring before immediately rolling back out and starting the count over again. The referee had shown a sign of relief with the Intercontinental Champion sliding back in, and is immediately irritated when the champion rolls back out, laughing as he goes.

[1]

Alex, showing his resiliency turns over onto his stomach, holding his side and tries to crawl away.

[2]

The Intercontinental Champion stalks him from behind, and as he rises, Jay rushes forward, spearing him hard in the side and pinning him against the barricade.

Ted Cedar
What an Impact!

Joey Miles
He's gonna feel that tomorrow.

[3]

JHalc pulls himself away and lets Alex slide down the barricade into a sitting position. The Intercontinental Champion isn't going to let him catch a break though, and instantly reaches down to take him by the head, forcing the man back to his feet.

[4]

Jay wastes little time walking Alex over to the ring post, trying to smash his head into it as they pass. Alex gets his arms up and puts his hands on the post, stopping short of slamming face first into it. Jay tries to force him, but Alex raises an elbow that catches Jay right under the right eye.

[5]

The champion's hands immediately go to protect his face, but as soon as he releases his hold on Alex, the former world champion does to him exactly what Jay had been trying to do. Hitman takes him by the head and slams him into the post face first. The Jack of Hearts rebounds backwards, with a cut opening across the top of his forehead.

[6]

He takes a few steps back towards the barricade, and Alex charges in on him again, only to be caught with a drop toe hold. Alex is tripped and falls forward, smacking the bridge of his nose against the guardrail as he falls.

[7]

Ted Cedar
I don’t know if that was intentional or not but Jay may have just saved the match for himself.

Feeling the tide turn his direction, Jay wipes the blood from his brow and pulls Alex to his feet. As he stands he takes his by the wrist and whips his back towards the ring. Avoiding contact with the apron, Alex dives, sliding into the ring and rolling away from the ropes.

[8]

Jay expected his to do as much, and sprints to the side of the ring, climbing quickly up to the apron, and then up to the top turnbuckle. JHalc Jay waits for Hitman to stand up.

Ted Cedar
This could cost him though, he should not be going high risk!

Joey Miles
You should know by now that Jay doesn't have a whole lot of wrestling skill. His whole offense is high risk.

Hitman stands up and JHalc jumps off the top turnbuckle hitting him with a shoulder block. Alex hits the mat with his neck and shoulders first as Jay manages to land on his knees. Both seem shaken from the impact but it is Alex that seems to be worse for wear, favoring the side of his ribs that Jay has been working over during the match. JHalc gets back up to his up and lifts Hitman to his feet before whipping his to the ropes. Hitman rebounds into a picture perfect dropkick to the face that puts his on his back in the center of the ring. Breathing heavily, Jay again wipes at the blood on his brow, trying to keep it out of his eyes as he plots his next move.

Joey Miles
That was a beautiful dropkick that really seemed to hit the mark!

Jay pulls on the Hitman's head to drag him back up from the mat again. As he gets his feet planted under himself Jay takes him by the wrist for a second time and runs him to the ropes again. The Intercontinental Champion fakes a high Kick forcing Hitman to duck. Unfortunately that was the move Jay was expecting him to make and lifts Hitman up and tilt-a-whirls his around before bringing his down into a backbreaker. He motions the official over, and hooks his far leg for a pin attempt.

One!

Two!

Hitman kicks out!

Jay lifts Hitman to his feet and pulls his down back first across his knee. His arms shoot out from his sides, and he arches his back in pain. The Jack of Hearts isn’t done with him though. JHalc Jay pulls Hitman up and lifts his to his shoulders in fireman’s carry position. JHalc runs to the middle of the ring and jumps, driving Hitman down with a death valley driver that brings the crowd to life. Again he hooks the far leg and waits for the referee to make his count.

ONE!!

TWO!!!

THR- Kick Out!

Ted Cedar:
It seems like it’s only a matter of time now.

Joey Miles
The end could be near for the former world champion!

Jay lifts Hitman to his feet and then tucks his head between his legs in a power bomb position. He raises both of his arms in the air, signaling for his old finisher, the RJB which sends the crowd into a frenzy. Jay wraps his arms around his midsection and goes to lift Hitman, but he isn’t done fighting. In one seemingly effortless motion Alex shows his power and stands up, dumping Jay over his shoulder with a back body drop. He turns around the find the Jack of Hearts trying to roll away but he drops down, hooking him by the ankle with his feet and then falling forward to grab his head. With Jay trapped he locks in an STF, making sure to keep his crossface-like grip across his bleeding forehead.

Joey Miles:
He has that locked in across that cut instead of around Jay's neck. That's vicious. I love it.

Ted Cedar
Hitman is trying everything to get himself back into this match.

Jay uses his free leg to push as far away from his body as possible. He gets his boot as planted on the ground as he possibly can and pushes hard as Alex tightens his grip, resulting in the two almost rolling over, putting Alex on his back. He is forced to let go of his grip to defend himself but as he raises his arms Jay grabs his by the wrist and wrenches his arm up over his head trapping Hitman in an Anaconda vice.

Joey Miles
Great counter.

Alex moves his body around, only acting to tighten Jay’s grip if he is out of range of the ropes. He stretches his legs out, waving his boot around to feel for the ropes, but coming up with nothing. Jay sits back, placing as much pressure as he can on his neck, but gives his a chance to slide further towards the ropes. Finally, he feels it with the tip of his boot and stretches out his leg so that his foot is on top of it, before calling for the rope break.

Ted Cedar
Great ring presence by our former world champion!

Joey Miles
I thought he may have been done for after that counter!

Jay releases the hold quickly, knowing that the damage is done anyways and wanting to hastily move on to the next part of his plan. He stands up, allowing Alex to roll closer to the ropes. He pushes himself up to all fours and takes a few deep breaths before Jay charges in. He throws back his right boot before propelling it forwards with everything that he has behind it. He aims for his ribs but Alex turns to his side and drops onto his knees, raising his arms to catch his boot. He lets the momentum of the upswing help his up to a standing position and then shoves Jay back as hard as he can. He sprints towards him while he staggers and levels him with a clothesline. He hits the mat hard, but is up in a flash. Alex hits the ropes again and drives him down with a clothesline once more. Jay is slower to get up this time, and Alex descends on him, hooking his arm up around his neck and powering him up, first to his feet and then up into the air in another suplex-like maneuver. Jay’s quick thinking bails him out of the jam though, as he turns his body in the air and frees himself, landing on his feet behind the champion. It's hardly a safe place to be though. Alex reaches over his shoulder, grabbing Jay by the head and looking for an out of nowhere HKO. Jay pops his head free before Alex can bring him down and shoves the former world champion hard, propelling him into the corner.

Joey Miles
Counter after counter between these two!

Ted Cedar[/b]
They have to be getting gassed though.

Jay runs in and high kicks Hitman to the back of the head. The Intercontinental Champion lifts Hitman up to the top turnbuckle and climbs up with his. Jay stands on the second rope behind him and sets Hitman up for a back body drop but Alex again shoots an elbow up, catching him in the widening cut on his head and causing him to fall flat on his back in the ring.

Joey Miles
Reversal!

Ted Cedar
Now Hitman is on the top rope while Jay is down on the mat! He could hit something big!

Hitman stands up slowly on the top turnbuckle looking a bit out of his element. He looks down at JHalc Jay who is quick up to his feet. Hitman leaps off the top turnbuckle but he has no control and turns slightly away. Jay sees the man awkwardly falling and puts his boot up in the air, catching Alex in the lungs as he comes down. Hitman hits the ring on his feet but Jay doesn't let him stay there for long. He hooks his legs, crosses them and then powers the man into the air before inverting him and driving him head first into the mat with The Killing Joke. Jay holds Alex's legs for the pin and waits for the referee to get into position.

“HOLY SHIT!” “HOLY SHIT!” “HOLY SHIT!” “HOLY SHIT!” “HOLY SHIT!” “HOLY SHIT!” “HOLY SHIT!” “HOLY SHIT!” “HOLY SHIT!” “HOLY SHIT!” “HOLY SHIT!” “HOLY SHIT!”

Ted Cedar
IT'S OVER... IT'S OVER!

Joey Miles
That had to be it!

ONE!!!!

TWO!!!!

THREE!!!

The referee calls for the bell.

[Ding Ding Ding]

Ted Cedar
What a rebound for JHalc, who has been on a losing streak as of late.

Joey Miles
He seems to be getting back on track.

Laura Watts
Here is your winner.... The Intercontinental Champion JHALC!!!!!!

Jay slowly gets back to his feet, with a huge smirk on his face. He wipes the blood off of his face and then shakes his hand out over Alex’s downed body as an insult to injury.
