SHOW OPENER | Dominik Diveraz - "Llega Un Nuevo Campeón"

Pyros go off on the stage following the opening video package for XWA Vendetta as the fans go wild. The show's theme song continues to play while the cameras pan around on the many fans all throughout the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan. With an exciting show ahead for them, they cheer deafeningly. That is, of course, until...

"Yo quiero Taco Bell."

Daddy Yankee's "Impacto" remix hits the PA System as the cheers all throughout the arena turn to a very sudden barrage of boos. Dominik Diveraz, the new World Heavyweight Champion, steps onto the stage with his arm around his wife, Samantha's, shoulders. In his free hand, he holds a briefcase.

Ted Cedar
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Vendetta! We're live here from the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It looks like we're going to have to cut the introductions short, however, as our new XWA World Heavyweight Champion is making his way to the ring. It's interesting to note that Dominik does not have the Championship with him, but he does appear to be holding a briefcase."

Joey Miles
"Where the fuck is his Championship? That motherfucker earned that title!"

Ted Cedar
"Well, Dominik doesn't look too upset, so it's safe to say he knows where his belt is."

Upon reaching the ring, Diveraz slides the briefcase in before helping his wife up the steps. He sits on the middle rope whilst pushing up on the top rope to assist Samantha in getting into the ring before entering after her and picking up his briefcase. Diveraz asks for a microphone from XWA's ring announcer, Laura Watts, whom gets one from ringside for him.

Dominik Diveraz
"Finally. ... Finally, I get what I deserve. I am now recognized as the single best wrestler in this company. That is now undeniable, as I have the proof; the simple proof that I'm the best. The XWA World Heavyweight Championship. Now, some of you may be wondering just where that little piece of gold is, right? If I defeated David Michaels, how come I don't have the Championship with me? The answer is simple. I deserve better than that Championship. You see, the World is a vast place, but you know what? Only one country in this World matters. No, it's not America. It's my home land. ¡Viva México! That's why I tossed that piece of trash Championship in the garbage and had this bad boy made."

Dominik opens up the briefcase revealing...

The audience jeers heavily at the blatant disrespect Dominik has shown XWA by getting rid of its Championship and bringing in this new one. Setting the briefcase and microphone on the ground, Dominik raises the Championship into the air with both hands for all to see. The boos get louder.

Joey Miles
"Beautiful!"

Ted Cedar
"Beautiful? Dominik just threw away the World Heavyweight Championship!"

Dominik hangs the new Championship over his shoulder and picks the microphone back up.

Dominik Diveraz
"This little malo niño is called the Mexico Championship; a true Championship to be proud of! Now, I know Davey boy has a rematch clause. I fully expect him to utilize it. I don't know when, but when it happens, I'll be ready, perro. I'll be ready to fight for this and I'll be ready to keep this once I defeat your culo again. Now, there's another little matter that I must attend to. I realized something when I had this Championship made. I realized I'm the only Spanish wrestler, aside from mi amor here, in this entire company. I'm not just going to stand for that. We need more equality! We need to represent what the Spanish culture is truly about; honor, honra! That's why I've decided to start La Revolución Hispana; the Hispanic Revolution! I've gathered a group of Spanish wrestlers ready to take it to XWA and show the World what we can do! I'd like to take this time to introduce you to mi nuevo familia. First up is mi amor's cousin, Luis Claudio!"

A muscular man steps out from behind the curtain as the audience boos heavily; not liking any of this one bit. Luis makes his way to the ring.

Ted Cedar
"Look at the size of this guy! He's built like a brick house!"

Joey Miles
"I'm already hyped for this Spanish takeover, Theodore! I hope Dominik will let me join!"

Ted Cedar
"But you're not Hispanic."

Joey Miles
"Hey, I'm one-fifth Cuban! Pendejo!"

Luis enters the ring and hugs his cousin Samantha before shaking hands with Dominik. Diveraz offers him the microphone, but he can audibly be heard saying, "Nah, I'm good." Dominik shrugs and begins speaking again.

Dominik Diveraz
"Not much of a talker, eh? That's fine, vato. I know you can deliver one hell of an ass beating in the ring and that's all that matters. Up next, I proudly introduce to all of you...Gabriel Best!"

The audience continues to boo as the brother of James Best, known for his brief time in 2WWF thus far, makes his way onto the stage. Cypress Hill’s "Hand On The Pump" blares throughout the arena and out steps the wicked “Mexistralian” himself, rocking his signature poncho over his combat shorts, wasting little time in throwing the camera the finger and spraying his projectile of saliva and Tequila into the camera. The crowd doesn’t take too lightly to this strangely white Mexican as the 2WWF upstart continues to step down to the ramp, slightly off-step, bottle of Jose Cuervo in hand.

"My favourite Caucasian Mexican!"

"Well this is… something. Is he drinking??"

Joey Miles
"The Mexistralian!!!"

”The Pride Of Far North Queensland” slaps and shoves the hands of the XWA fans that try to reach out and threatening to spit on them shouting “YOU AINT SHIT!!!” Gabriel then jumps up onto the ring apron and throws his bottle of Tequila into the ring before somersaulting over the top rope, rolling onto his feet and snatching the Tequila bottle up as he does so in impressive fashion, nodding his chin up at Luis Claudio as he then takes his place by Dominik Diveraz.

Ted Cedar
"Certainly quite different from the rest of this pack, I guess you could call them. This is very surreal to me, Joey… I’ve never seen a man with such a horrible attitude. He just comes off as disrespectful, and he’s only been in the XWA for a few minutes… I hate him already."

Joey Miles
"Don’t hate the playa Theodore, hate the game!"

Gabriel grins, adjusting his bandana as he breaks into a pace and steps over to the ring ropes, leaning forward on them and asking for a microphone from the ringside help, snatching it viciously as he turns back to the scope of the camera, the boos continue.

Gabriel Best
"I don’t expect you lot to know me over here on the B show, but MY name is Gabriel Best, no not that other bastard James you all like over here in this hole… GABRIEL Best, the more Latino side of the Best family tree! You know something, mate…"

Boos fill the arena, cutting Gabriel off and Gabriel scowls, narrowing his eyes as he slowly turns his head to the fans.

Gabriel Best
"Shut your holes and have some respect, you disrespectful pricks!!!"

Gabriel takes the mic from his mouth and drowns himself with a generous gulp of Jose Cuervo goodness, swiping his mouth and snarling to the fans.

Gabriel Best
"Hold up Dominik, I don’t think these fans like what I’m saying, all just a bunch of feral bastards. I’ve been in an XWA building for about five minutes, and yall were so quick to jump at the chance to point your fingers and say that’s the bad guy and why… because I’m Mexican?!!"

Ted Cedar
"I’m going to tell him!"

Joey Miles
"Shutup you twat!!"

Gabriel angrily takes another gulp of Tequila, tearing the bottle away and growling into the microphone….

Gabriel Best
"That’s exactly the type of ignorance I expected coming here tonight, but that all changes… you may all be a little slow to figure this out but I don’t like you much, I don’t like anyone… anyone that is except my Tequila and the men… the people… in this ring, people I'm honoured to ride with! The current Mexican Champion, Dominik Diveraz… and this other guy… in La Revolución Hispana!!!"

Gabriel takes yet another gulp down of the bottle, and beats his chest, Dominik slapping him on the shoulder with a smirk and taking the microphone.

Dominik Diveraz
"Excelente. Now, our final member of the group, ladies and gentlemen, I introduce to you, Martin Garcia!"

From behind the curtain, Martin runs out, practically ignoring the fact that the fans are booing every action from any one of these men. In fact, he just seems ready to party. Garcia is dressed simply in a pair of jeans and a wifebeater, while his long hair is held back behind his head by a black bandana. It doesn't take him long to get down to the ring as he rolls in, and Dominik offers him the microphone, to which the young star gleefully accepts.

Martin Garcia
"Hola a todos! Mi nombre es Martín García, y estoy listo para patear el culo con mi familia! Nadie va a meterse con nosotros. No David Michaels, no JHalc, no Razor Xtreme, NADIE! La sangre, el sudor y las lágrimas de mis hermanos mexicanos y yo nos vamos a gobernar este lugar!"

The fans boo as the Mexican wrestler speaks entirely in Spanish, not even bothering to translate himself! With an especially upset man wearing an American Flag T-shirt screaming for these 'illegals' to get out of the ring already. Somehow, the word illegal crosses Garcia's ear.

Martin Garcia
"¿Qué acaba de llamarnos? Los ilegales? Usted bastardos blancos crees que eres mejor que nosotros? Te voy a mostrar ilegal!"

Martin drops the mic and attempts to jump out of the ring at the man, only to be caught by Best who manages to just barely keep his suddenly enraged ally in check. Dominik chuckles slightly.

Dominik Diveraz
"Ah, yes. This will be fun. With this Mexico Championship on my shoulder and these Spanish gladiators by my side, there is nothing I can’t do. ¡Nada! Whoever thinks they can take us on, bring it. Fucking. Bring. It. I'm ready for all challengers to my Championships and my comrades are ready to take out anyone who dares attempt to come at us. Somos La Revolución Hispana. Vamos a gobernar. Esta empresa es la nuestra. ¡Viva La Revolución Hispana!"

The audience boos heavily as "Impacto" by Daddy Yankee hits the PA System. The members of La Revolución Hispana exit the ring, together.

"Well, this was certainly...Interesting."

Joey Miles
"WE ARE NOT WORTHY!"

The show fades to a commercial break rather abruptly, as Martin tries to go after the fan in the American Flag t-shirt.

Haha, great, just great. I'm not sure who wrote the Gabriel Best part but that was certainly awesome. Loved the involving of the fans and how you introduced the Mexican Championship. Brilliant promo, even though I didn't understand a single word of what Martin Garcia said.
