'Gavin & Stacey' actress Ruth Jones has hinted the TV show could be turned into a film.
The popular BBC comedy, created by Ruth and co-star James Corden, ended after two-and-a-half years in 2010 but the actress is determined to bring it back.
The Welsh star told the Radio Times she would ''definitely'' work with James again, who starred as Smithy in the show, alongside her character Nessa.

Talking about the comedy returning in the future, she said: ''We haven't any concrete plans but we will at some stage.
''It might be a Gavin & Stacey special or it might be a film...''

James Corden previously said it was ''too good'' to not to return to the small screen.
He said: ''It would be a crime not to, it's a great show. Writing with Ruth is a gift, I definitely plan on doing some more.''

Thousands of viewers tuned in to the last episode to watch Smithy finally get together with Nessa - while Gavin and Stacey - played by Matt Horne and Joanna Page - revealed they were expecting a baby together. The show also stars Alison Steadman and Larry Lamb.

After the comedy went off air 14,000 people signed an online petition begging for it to return.
Ruth has also said she would like to turn the show into a musical and reunite the characters for special TV episodes.
