2.) Dwight Lights vs Rellim Strife Empty
PostSubject: Re: 2.) Dwight Lights vs Rellim Strife   2.) Dwight Lights vs Rellim Strife EmptySat Oct 12, 2013 3:29 pm

The ring is brighter than it had ever been with the arrival of Dwight Lights, who parades about the centre of the ring arms raised high in a grand fashion despite the dead reaction from the crowd, Dwight removing his banana yellow belly shirt and slouching back in the corner of the ring as the referee does his thing…

Cedar:
"And the arena is less than abuzz with the arrival of Dwight Lights as usual, we haven’t seen a great deal of him in a few weeks, but he certainly looks focused tonight."

Dennis:
"You know Ted, here’s the thing… James Best, Dwight Lights, whatever you want to call him is a complete mystery to me, I just… I don’t know… I don’t get it."

Cedar:
"I actually like Dwight Lights, he’s one of the most under-rated talents on the ros--"

Dennis:
"Oh stop sugar-coating things Ted, under-rated?  How can you possibly say that?  The guy is almost always voted to win in his matches come poll time, he’s apparently a six/seven time world champion in places nobody really cares about, his record here isn’t exactly impressive, he’s pretty much blown every big match opportunity he’s had in the last two or three  years and the only time he shows any hint of promise is in matches that don’t really go anywhere… just watch, he’s going to kick the crap out of Rellim Strife tonight and go out on a bender drinking Fosters next week, he doesn’t take this seriously and it’s no wonder the fans have zero interest in him, I certainly have no interest in him either."

Cedar:
"...Well I guess you’re mind is already made up.  Lets err… get started?"

DING...DING...DING!!!

The bell tolls in the distance and the match is underway, with both men wasting no time in ferociously clashing together in a collar and elbow tie-up, a contest of strength quickly won over by "The Unmistakable" Rellim Strife, forcing Dwight Lights toward into the corner behind him as the stronger man although Dwight Lights shifts his step, managing to swing Rellim into the turnbuckles instead, stomping the toe of Rellim’s boot and headbutting Rellim’s bandaged head, Rellim doesn’t take too kindly to this and shoves Dwight backwards, closing the gap between them by sprinting with a tremendous lariat, coming to a stop and bending forward with his hands on his kneepads, recomposing whilst Dwight Lights lethargically unravels to the sanctuary of the ropes.  Rellim stands upright and he is pissed, turns back to Dwight and reaches down to grab him by the head and neck, pulling him upon his feet and unleashing a swift forearm to the face, rinse and repeat for good measure with a second blow. Taking Dwight by the wrist and slinging him across the ring with an irish whip, Dwight bouncing back from the ropes only to be torn to the mat once more with a leg lariat, Rellim dropping down and gambling with an ambitious pin, but Dwight gets a shoulder up at the two count… shaking off the daze only to be stomped right on the fingers… Strife clearly not taking things too ‘lightly’.

Cedar:
"Rellim with a little payback, a finger foe a toe I guess you could say, things becoming very heated very quickly."

Dennis:
"Rellim is already in a bad mood, he had his head smacked in with a sledgehammer literally knocking him out of the KOX tournament and here’s Dwight Lights trying to cheap shot him.  Bad form, Dwight. "

Rellim backs away with his hands on his hips, allowing Dwight Lights the opportunity to stand up and face him, Lights on one knee showing his palms out to Rellim as he rises, only to snatch the referee and shove him at Rellim, surprising Strife placing Ryu aside enough to come clobbering back at him with wild punches, and Dwight Lights clobbers Strife back against the ropes, setting upon him like a pitbull going for the jugular in the distractin, clipping Rellim with a bionic elbow right on the head, stumbling Strife into a surprised daze and Dwight Lights leaps with a near perfect dropkick in the face, spilling Rellim over the ropes and crashing across the ringside mats, Dwight grinning it all up and tapping his temple, beginning to clap dramatically, to an unimpressed crowd, before sprinting across the ring and bolting back toward the rising Rellim Strife on the outside, folding him in half with a high calibre suicide dive, smashing Rellim against the barricade behind him, Dwight recoiling from the high impact and blowing the barrel of his smoking gun index finger, grsbbing hold of the camera and shouting “BOOM, That just happened!”

Dennis:
"Oh please… what a snake."

Cedar:
"He certainly is quite the slippery customer, Adam but that dropkick is one of the cleanest in the business."

Dennis:
"The irony is that Dwight Lights is just dirty… a dirty, dirty man."

Rellim’s chest inflates and deflates rapidly as he struggles to regain his composure, peeling from the barricade and staggering along the perimeter of the ring, Dwight Lights taking his sweet time in following behind him, snatching him by the shoulder and spinning him around, wrenching Rellim in a headlock as if they were the best of mates, complete with noogie, pointing to the steel steps with the silliest of expressions across his face, which could only spell someone was about to get bulldogged, as Dwight breaks into a sprint however the veteran instinct in Rellim refuses to let this happen, and Strife simply thrusts Dwight,  smacking his head into the steel ringpost and Dwight spirals into a dramatic crash across the steps below, Rellim shaking off the daze, glaring at Dwight and given the fact that Dwight was stretched across the steps like a silver platter, it would be rude not to help himself, jumping and blasting Dwight deep in the sternum with an elbowdrop!

Dennis:
"You know what is fascinating about all of this action, there is absolutely no count-out happening here.."

Ah yes, the count-out… almost on cue with Adam Dennis’ remark, Ryu Sanu finally leans over the ropes and screams “ONE!!”.  Dwight Lights eyes pop out of his head as he sinks from the top of the steps to the floor, steel tooth by steel tooth although Rellim shows no mercy, taking Dwight from the mat and dumping him inside the ring, Dwight rolling on the ring mat back and forth as Rellim slides into the ring as well and wastes no time in taking Dwight from the mat, throwing him into the corner of the ring, Strife wasting no time in pancaking Dwight with a stinger splash, flipping Dwight’s shit almost immediately after with a vintage-Rellim EXPLODER SUPLEX and the crowd go ballistic as Dwight is flung through the air into a dramatic crash in the ring, the overwhelmed  Australian struggling to find his feet as Strife aligns to strike from the corner behind him with the ever popular Spear, Rellim picks his moment and sprints from his post toward Dwight like a greyhound, Lights boots Strife in his head however, preventing any further signature move madness, sinking beneath Strife’s right arm for the Side Slam Backbreaker he calls AC/DC, certainly gaining the height  before snapping Strife in half, not looking to showboat this time around, kicking Rellim over onto his gut and snatching the leg of Strife for his deliciously wicked Sharpshooter-meets-Anklelock means to an end and Rellim Strife is… Unplugged.

Cedar:
"Oh my… Rellim is in trouble here, Dwight Lights has him trapped in the sharpshooter after the turnaround, these matches really can change on the spin of a dime…."

Dennis:
"Or a kick in the face for that matter, Ted!  Sharpshooter, Anklelock, whatever you want to call this move, it is very effective.."

Cedar:
"Am I detecting admiration, Adam?  Perhaos you are a Dwight Lights guy after all."

Dennis:
"This match is about to end Ted, be a bit more dramatic… and NO!!"

Rellim Strife screams in agony, on his stomach smashing his fists upon the mat, as the most punishing submission move cripples him.  While Rellim’s pain threshold had enabled him to brave the Sharpshooter, the hyperextension into the Anklelock proves too much for the crowd favourite and Rellim taps out for dear life, left with absolutely no choice…

DING DING DING!!!

Cedar:
"And the winner of this match… by submission… Dwight Lights!!!?"

The Brightest Man In Wrestling drops everything and simply glares into the camera whilst “Electric Funeral” by Black Sabbath fills the arena, Rellim Strife curling and writhing on the mat behind him, Dwight Lights reaching down to pull the Unmistakable athlete  up upon his feet, spin on a dime and ferociously clobber Rellim with a discus elbow impact and Rellim’s head flaps back at the neck, much to the horror of the crowd

Cedar:
"Oh come on, now!"

Dwight Lights swipes his mouth and drops down upon both kneepads, closing his eyes with his arms out as Rellim lethargically rolls to the ropes and flops out of the ring, Dwight Lights clearly overcome with himself as he simply grins a maniacal grin…

And the show goes on.
