| Watched Smackdown for the first time in forever for this (Probably why they advertised it ahead of time.) He looked like he was having the time of his life when he was attacking Owens and Zayn. I just hope he really is okay, and he doesn't end up doing long term damage somewhere down the road. |

| I love him and he was my favorite wrestler from the this era. First time I seen a Ring of Honor card I thought he was the greatest.
It's sad that he killed himself over 5 minute RAW matches that meant nothing. I think highly of him but that was stupid. He could have learned a thing or two from guys like Austin Aries or Davey Richards. They had a fun match on a TNA pay per view while clearly not caring enough to damage their bodies so they took almost zero bumps. It was really a beautiful thing. While you got Bryan Danielson falling on his head for a RAW match.
I hope he doesn't hurt himself. I know he wants to get back in the ring but I don't want to see him become The Dynamite Kid. |

| Man all the doctors medically cleared this dude except the one Vince is paying. They kept him out of the ring for almost 3 years when he coulda been ready to go last year |

| And that's another thing I wanted to bring up. I think this is happening now because they know Bryan Danielson wants to wrestle again. He's not interested in WWE pay checks if he can't do what he loves. And these days and can get a big contract offer from New Japan or Ring of Honor. They been teasing a possible match between Cody and Bryan and WWE couldn't let that happen. |

| Oh yeah, they 100% did this to make him happy so he wouldn't leave. That also confirms that they intentionally didn't clear him despite him being medically ok to wrestle because they don't want him to succeed. It's still good to have him back. |

| I'm actually so annoyed to the point of being disgusted about this. I was so tired of this guy and glad he was gone from the ring... he's talented I won't say he's not... but Bryan is overrated and the "YES!" fingers stuff is way past its expiration date. Just boring |

I don’t think they were holding him back because they didn’t want to see him succeed, I think it was more of the fact that they were scared shitless of something going wrong and facing another lawsuit and bad publicity over it, especially at a time where concussions and how they are handled are under intense scrutiny right now. |

| I feel like it was a mix of that and not wanting him to succeed ELSEWHERE. I'm sure Daniel requested a release after they wouldn't clear him, because he absolutely wanted to leave and go back to ROH or to NJPW or something so he can continue wrestling, but they wanted to keep him for as long as they can.
Also, can we revoke Burdur's access to wrestling forums? |

| The fact that Daniel isn’t 103% testosterone and is still as popular as the guys that were 20 years ago challenges Burdur’s fragile masculinity and insecurity over watching a show about sweaty men grappling and rolling around on a mat. Probably |

That was definitely also a factor, but the concussion issue itself was totally also an excuse to stop pushing him |
