TNA has announced a replacement for Drew Galloway, who has been ruled out of action for this Sunday’s TNA Bound for Glory pay-per-view with an injury. Eddie Edwards, a former two-time X-Division Champion and five-time TNA tag team champion, will replace Galloway in his match against Aron Rex (former WWE Superstar Damien Sandow) to crown the first ever Impact Grand Championship.

Maria's the Knockouts Champion? I didn't even know she was wrestling. I thought she was just there to continue being Bennett's valet.

from what I know she someone handed it over to her, so she didn't win it by wrestling and I think she has someone wrestle in her place. Least from what i know

I don't think just because you are a jobber in one place you are a jobber for life.

As much as I don't care about TNA, I think it's a good thing that they give talented people opportunities when WWE fails to utilize them to their potential.

That's not what I'm implying. Sandow, who was used as nothing more than a laughing stock in WWE, is in TNA for barely two months and gets a title. This seems to happen a lot in TNA.

He's over. While he was used as a laughing stock in WWE, he was still over as fuck. People who are over tend to be pushed (aside from in WWE, half the time).

AJ Styles became WWE Champion only, what, half a year with the company, and had huge feuds immediately upon joining. Granted, he was pushed heavier where he was before WWE than Sandow was while in WWE, but Sandow won a new title, not their top championship. TNA pushes guys like Sandow immediately because that's what a lot of their fans want. There's a reason people often-times say they want underutilized wrestlers in WWE to leave and go elsewhere; because they'll be given more opportunities and used better outside of the WWE.

TNA tries to pander to the people who are sick of WWE and wrestlers they like not getting pushed, which does probably make up a large portion of TNA's fanbase. Well, that and anyone on enough drugs to enjoy Matt Hardy right now.

And this is also one of many reasons why fans are turned off by TNA. It has been an issue for TNA since 2006, once Christian Cage made the jump to TNA. Everything started being about WWE, anyone who was 'Future Endeavored' from WWE came into TNA as a disgruntled Ex-WWE Guy. The first thing every former WWE guy who goes to TNA does is 'shoot' on WWE going as far to make the claim 'TNA is the place where talent is pushed' without any evidence backing this claim up.

No other wrestling company has indirectly advertised WWE as much as TNA.
