As the match began, the overwhelming size difference between Khideep and Ryan became an early and major factor, with the Australian forcefully manhandling his opponent at every turn. Khideep fought tirelessly, but her every attack seemed spurned by the larger and more experienced Quill, whom it seemed would effortlessly take the night.

In spite of this overwhelming advantage, nothing Quill doled out against his smaller for seemed able to keep her down for the count. Time and again, Khideep managed to weasel her way out of one attempt after another, clinging to what little odds she had with all of the strength. With every try though, it seemed to grow more certain that the 265 pounder would squash his dainty prey. Things seemed grim for the XWA newcomer until she lashed out at Quill with a drastic enzugiri late in the contest. The clap of boot on flesh came across especially thunderous and Ryan collapsed into a heap on the mat. Whispers began to abound, as the star clearly seemed to take much longer than typical to recover from the assault, leading many to speculate that he may have suffered damage to his inner ear or a concussion from the kick.

Following the fateful shot, Ryan's assertion began to slip, providing the opening Khideep needed to work her way back into the contest. With the tables turning against him, Ryan fired away with a Roundhouse Kick that nearly took the young woman's head off, but between his disorientation and her speed, Horn was just able to evade the manuever before catching Quill across the skull with The Sting, her trademark finishing move a la the more famous 'Chick Kick', landing the blow across the previously affected ear before taking advantage and getting the "1-2-3!" and a huge victory under her belt.
