Last week on Revenge. Almandine Trek beat Kaylenna Parks in a tight match up. This week, she will be facing Alex Madsen.
"I have mentally prepared myself. I am fully aware of what could happen. I'm not afraid of facing a man. I have wrestled Ivan Snap in the past in an old indy promotion. He beat me once and I beat him. That's not to say I didn't walk away without a few bruises here and there. My ankle was swollen by a miscalculated drop and I finished the match but I had to sit out the following week. I faced another male and I dislocated my shoulder. It was definately a scary moment for me. I thought my dreams of being a wrestler were over as I couldn't imagine going through surgery then therapy. But I have grown and I know the risks and I will take them." The screen cuts to black.
"Do you think that was good enough?" Almandine asked tiredly as she hit the rewind button.
"You can only show so much emotion in the moment until you have to repeat it over and over" Ivan replied, legs crossed in front of him.
The two were in the rec room of her hotel apartment recording her promo for Revenge. She came up on screen.
"I look awful" She said and put a hand to her head.
"Headache?"
"I've been in here all day and all I came up with is that" She dramatically put a hand up at herself speaking on the screen.
"It's not that bad"
"You're right. I do have a headache" She said agitated, getting up and leaving the room.

At the FedExForum Arena, Almandine Trek stood by Ricky Wilbur, both smiling cheerfully. He finally got his interview. He wasted no time in getting into it.
"Thank you for joining me here Almandine" He said and she gave a small nod.
"It's great to be here in Memphis Tennessee" She replied.
He pulled out a piece of paper, looked it over and stuffed it back in his pocket. He gave her a goofy smile.
"Your win last week against Kaylenna -?"
"It's something I wont forget anytime soon, but if I can pull a win against some of the bigger guys here, then that should prove to people it wasn't a fluke" Almandine gracefully interrupted him. Not wanting to be reminded of what she had to do last week to get the upper hand. Ricky didn't seem to care. Just happy she was into the question. He continued to nod with a smile.
"You'll be facing Alex Madsen. H-he has over 130 pounds on you. How do you plan to take him down?"
"He won't be the only guy I face who will have more pounds on me. If I only focus on that, knowing that someone bigger than me can take me down easily, it would do my head in. Besides, I can't give away my defense, Ricky, you'll have to wait and see"
"Whoever wins goes to the qualifying match next week."
"I know. Let me get through this and we'll talk again."
Behind them, someone came up, you could barely see his face as he grazed passed Almandine as he walked by. It took them a moment to realize it was Alex Madsen.
"I guess he has his game face on" Ricky blurted the obvious, then added "Best of luck in the ring, Almandine"
"Thanks Ricky" Almandine said, before walking off screen.
