- She and Bret were pretty much coke fiends together throughout the 80's and 90's. A lot of recreational drugs partaken in between the two of them. She wasn't innocent.
- Bret was a strange bipolar dude. One minute he was warm with her, the next he was calling her names
- On Canada Day in 1998, Bret never came to pick the kids up for the fireworks. Julie told them about his affairs and constant pot use. Bret shows up drunk and high, and subsequently grabs her by the throat and starts choking her out until Dallas their son begs him to stop. The cops asked if she wanted to press charges.
- His Italian wife Cinzia was a mark he met at an autograph signing, a year older than their daughter. His kids were appalled at his HOF speech because he thanked her for nursing him to health, when it was actually Julie that did, and he hasn't met her until afterwards. Julie was also supposed to be at the HOF but Bret told her to fuck off once word got out on the Internet. If Julie went, Cinzia would divorce him.
- The stroke did not change his personality and he still treated her bad
- A few days after marrying Cinzia, he showed up at Julie's house with a turkey and tried to seduce her
- He would always ask her to come have coffee with him, which would lead to his having his way with her (once they were split)
- After the split, they re-filmed a scene for Wrestling With Shadows. Bret then had his way with her.
- Sometime around 2006, Julie was flat broke and Bret couldn't loan her $9,000. She ended up taking a job as a janitor at a junior high school for $14/hr.
- Bret and Julie both were experiencing symptoms of hepatitis in the early 2000's. Due to the number of girls he was with and drugs used, Bret got tested and recommended Julie do the same. She never says test results.
- She says in the book that Bret came home when he was in WCW and informed her he had failed a steroid test. Showed the level they saw Bret at in a way, because I remember Perry Saturn said they only tested the people at the Benoit, Raven, Saturn, Jericho level and below. The likes of Hogan and Nash would never have been asked to take a "random" drugs test.
