According to TMZ, Roddy Piper’s cause of death has been revealed to be a pulmonary embolism (a blood clot) in his lung, which triggered his heart attack. Piper reportedly suffered from hypertension for years, resulting in chronic high blood pressure, and the high blood pressure can cause clotting.
