Jurassic World has officially passed The Avengers as the third highest-grossing film of all time. The film has brought in $1.522 billion worldwide, just over the $1.520 billion earned by The Avengers in 2012. It’s behind Titanic (#2, $2.186 billion) and Avatar (#1, $2.788 billion). Furious 7 is in fifth place with $1.511 billion.

For those curious, Jurassic Park is at #18 on the all-time worldwide list with $1.029 billion, as a result of both the original 1993 release and the 2013 re-release for the 20th anniversary.
