According to NorthAmericanWrestlingRankings.blogspot.com, which started keeping track of wrestlers’ records and ranking them as of Nov. 2006, when Dolph Ziggler lost to Dean Ambrose at The Night Of Champions on 9/15/13 it was his 100th televised singles LOSS! That makes him the first wrestler to reach this unfortunate milestone!

Also, when The Miz defeated Fandango at the same event it was his 100th televised singles win. That makes him only the 11th wrestler to reach this milestone, behind only C.M. Punk, John Cena, Randy Orton, Sheamus, Kane, Jeff Hardy, Kofi Kingston, Big Show, Mark Henry, and Alberto Del Rio. Ironically, Ziggler has 97 wins and is next in line for 100 wins.

The point is, according to this information, Dolph is virtually even in his televised win/loss record. He has 100 losses and 97 wins. The only reason he's close to hitting these made up records is because he wrestles frequently on every show.

Majority in a technical sense, but let's not pretend three is a big number. He's three wins away from hitting a hundred of those, too, and the list above of other wrestlers who've hit that are all main eventers.

I don't understand what the issue is... Ziggler's never going to be a mega star, he'll always be an upper carder who makes everyone else look amazing. It's not glamorous in any sense but he'll have a job for life so long as he keeps doing it well.

His ring skills allow him to be a main eventer, though.

TNA also allows everyone on the roster to be a main eventer, but that's besides the matter.

Abdel, if ring skills alone made you a main eventer, a lot of people would be main eventers right now.

I never said he ONLY had ring skills, and thus should be a main eventer based of them. He is amazing on the mic and can cut great promos, too.

Ziggler isn't amazing on the mic, but he's solid.

I think he could be a great upper mid carder, occasionally facing main eventers, but I can't see him as a legit main eventer. Even when he was the WHC I couldn't take him seriously.

maybe it's because WWE doesn't take him seriously. I mean him winning the world title was big...but it was like Rock or Triple H winning the IC title back in the day...but that's is being nice

I disagree. I just don't see HIM as a big star. Not his gimmick (if anything his gimmick HELPS him), it's not WWE's fault that I PERSONALLY can't picture him as a big star. He just doesn't seem like that kind of person to me.
