Contracted wrestlers to Lucha Underground have not heard about the next set of television tapings, according to reports. Because Lucha Underground gets first priority for anyone under contract, many talents are hanging around and not able to officially book indie dated in August and September. Lucha Underground also tapes on weekends, which is when the majority of Indie shows tape.

Also, Lucha Underground officials have discussed bringing indie star AR Fox in. Lucha officials wanted both Fox and Rich Swann at first but they were under contract to EVOLVE. Fox is no longer under contract and is a free agent.

EVOLVE did not want to let Lucha to pick up any of their talents without paying a hefty price. They did this to get Ricochet to come in as Prince Puma.

However, they made the decision not to do that with anymore with other talents as they wanted Ricochet as a franchise star.
