- Heath Slater's win over Adam Rose at the May 25th WWE live event on Long Island was his first win of 2015. Going into the weekend, Slater had the worst live event record in the company - 1-44. Other talents who went into the weekend with bad records were Bo Dallas with 3-39, Rose with 5-56 and Cameron with 2-35.

- WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins spoke at Wizard World in St. Louis last week and credited Joey Mercury for saving his career. While in WWE developmental, Rollins had heat as he believed he was the best and was frustrated with being there for so long. Rollins said he was almost fired but Mercury helped lay everything out for him and put him on the right path, saving his job.

The ultimate jobbers in WWE right now are Adam Rose and Bo Dallas which absolutely sucks considering how popular they were on NXT. That just shows how good WWE is at fucking up talent! I can see Adam Rose get released at some point in the next 2 years.

To be fair, Tyler Black was an average to decent in-ring wrestler when he held the ROH World Title but was trash on the mic.

Cesaro/Hero shouldn't have been in development though.

Nigel McGuinness, Austin Aries, Chris Hero, Claudio Castagnoli, Kevin Steen, Kenny Omega, Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley were all better in-ring workers than Black was at the time of his reign. Or at least in my opinion.

Tyler Black was good, but a lot of guys were a lot better overall. Doing NXT and Shield were the best things to happen to him because he was able to be grow on the mic and his psychology in the ring. If he went to the main roster right away and wasn't apart of the shield as soon as he signed with WWE Rollins wouldn't be the man he is now. Hell he probably would have been the fourth man in 3MB. Losing to Ryder on Superstars.

So what I am saying is

Seth Rollins > Tyler Black no question about it

Making up hypothetical scenarios like that don't help your argument. The only difference between mine and yours is mine is closer to the truth

You could list as many names as you want but that doesn't mean he isn't a great wrestler. There's a whole lot of wrestlers that I like more than John Cena but I don't go around saying he's not great.

Maybe I just saw something in Black that you didn't or maybe I was just such a mark for him at the time. But look where he's gotten today. In my opinion I don't think we need to thank the guys in Florida for the wrestler he is today.

Tyler Black was a typical indy spot monkey who couldn't cut a promo to save his life. He would just be another Kofi, Evan Bourne, Justin Gabriel. The fact he went to NXT which is Triple H's baby Hunter was able to see something in him. Being apart of the shield Rollins was able to grow with both in the ring and on the mic. If he just went straight to the main roster you probably have tyler black back in ROH by now because he wouldn't have lasted long.

So again

Seth Rollins > Tyler Black any day of the week.

I wouldn't say Black was a spot monkey, and I wouldn't say he was terrible at promos just that there's been a huge improvement. He could be very lazy in the ring at times in RoH and I was a huge Black mark (back in the emo days when anything DifH/AoTF was cool) but could see he could be lazy. As for that list Moose; if that many people are better than you, I just can't find it in myself to call him great. Good - don't get me wrong - but not quite great.

I actually take my Kings of Wrestling comment back. If Brian Danielson has to go through development then e'erybody gotta go through development.

to me tyler black was nothing special. just a typical indy guy. it wasn't until I started to see him grow as Seth Rollins when I started to give a damn.
