Sorry may seem be the hardest word, but Sir Elton John swallowed his pride and apologised to a steward at his concert on Sunday (June 7).
The singer was performing at the Kingshold Stadium in Gloucester when he became unhappy that stewards appeared to be banning fans from waving their arms in the air.
According to ITV News, he shouted from the stage: "You f**king stewards, who do you think you are? This is my f**king concert, who are you?"
He then singled out a female steward, and said: "Especially you with the f**king blonde ponytail, you're a f**king c**t. Yes you, this isn't f**king China, now piss off.
"My fans have paid good money and if they want to wave their f**king arms they f**king can. Do you hear me? Now piss off!"
The steward was reduced to tears by John's rant and quickly walked off. However, fan reaction prompted the singer to issue an apology a few songs later, bringing her on stage to join him.
Sharing his piano stool with her, he described his behaviour as "highly inappropriate" before giving her a kiss on the cheek.
John recently praised Ed Sheeran and predicted that the 'Bloodstream' singer has a long career ahead of him.
