Matinee idol Chris Pratt will reprise his cherry-dressed music-loving rebel ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ hero, Star-Lord for Marvel movies outside of that specific franchise. Question is : Which ones?

The actor tells GQ that, “I’m tied to doing three more, or five more, Guardians of the Galaxy or whatever it is, you know, two more Guardians plus another couple,” Pratt confirmed, suggesting that the actor will be a part of the next “Avengers” movies (the “Infinity War” two-parter?), and possibly a solo Star-Lord movie down the line.

With so many Marvel movies in the works – from the new “Captain America” flick to “The Inhumans”, “Captain Marvel”, and a few more “Avengers” flicks – Star-Lord could just about pop up anywhere. Take your pick..

He should just randomly turn up at some point in the movie...

Eventually you know they'll be a film where every damn character is involved somehow...I just don't want that for a while. GotG should really be left to do it's own thing, with smaller things connecting them to the rest of the films.

GotG play a role in Thano's quest to get the gems. I mean, it ends with all of them half dead in space, but they play a role in it.

I mean Captain America dies in the Civil War comic, but will they go through with it in the movie? It honestly really depends.

Doubtful. Keep in mind that one of the most important characters in the Infinity Wars is the Silver Surfer, followed by Adam Warlock. Neither of whom are currently relevant. So I won't be surprised if most of the movies are completely different.

They will be. Thanos is the main villain in both. Silver Surfer isn't coming any time soon. Avengers X GotG vs Thanos is obviously the plan.

I can assume that'll be the deal, but that isn't what was announced here.
