The XWA Universe is pumped up for the rematch between Jared Jerusalem and World Heavyweight Champion, Minkaro. The last time these two all-around stars faced, Minkaro got the upper hand and defeated The Piece of Eden. Will history repeat itself?

Ted Cedar: The fans are certainly caught within a crossroad on who to cheer for. We've got two very athletic competitors ready to tear each other apart. TWICE!

Joey Miles: Fuck it. Even I don't know who I should shit on for this main event.

Before the match could even begin, the two men already have a contest to see who's better. Jerusalem extends his arms sidewards with his fists cuffed, posing for the fans as they reciprocate with a very loud pop, also some extra cheers from his valet, Empress, who's outside of harm's way. From the shoulder, Minkaro raises his World Heavyweight Title belt up in the air in a proud manner. The audience also cheers for the champ, garnering a reaction slightly louder than Jerusalem's.

DING! DING! DING!

The bell finally tolls thrice, which signals the start of this must-see battle. Before Minkaro could even think of setting his title down. The Great Malevolence, Jared Jerusalem sprints ahead. The people in attendance rise up very early in the match as the former LionHeart Champion clasps the World Champion with a running big boot. The loud sound caused by the boot sends shockwaves to the fans in the arena. Minkaro falls sidewards from his corner as his title belt lands outside of the squared-circle. Double J immediately goes for the first fall of the 2 out of 3 falls match as soon as The Bionic Technician descended down the canvas.

ONE!

TWO!

KICKOUT!

Ted Cedar: GEE WILIKERS THAT WAS CLOSE! It's the start of the match and these two have already fired up the crowd.

Minkaro immediately powers out of that pin and roles away from his aggressive adversary. Jared Jerusalem quickly stands back up and, leans against the corner, placing his hands on the two ropes beside him as if he was stalking his opponent. The Pioneer Anomaly gets up on one peg. He stares angrily at the man who almost pinned him within just a few seconds. The Technical Messiah pants heavily, probably out of relief from that shocking start. While as The Self-Proclaimed Savior of Xtreme Wrestling Association glares cockily at the World Heavyweight Champion, as if he was daring the man to attack him. The fans begin to trade chants as two sides are torn between "LET'S GO JARED!" and "LET'S GO MINKARO!" chants. However, the two English-natives seem dead focused on each other. The duo, slowly circles around the ring, silencing the crowd with their intensity that could easily be felt if you were present that night. The Bionic Technician extends his one arm and slightly crouches, challenging Jerusalem to contest of technical and grappling ability, however The Piece of Eden backs away. He knows that trying to beat Minkaro in his own game would be a death sentence. Furious over Jerusalem's denial, The Twisted Mind chases Jared, causing the Hypocrite Hunter to slide out of the ring in fear. The Blackpool-native ignores the Shrewsbury-native as he has his back turned and takes a moment to breathe, while the World Champion is inside the squared-circle and is thinking about something big. The Last Rock and Roll Star slowly backs away, takes a deep breath and starts sprinting towards his opponent outside. Jared Jerusalem's manager, Empress interrupts Minkaro from doing a suicide dive. She places herself in her man's place, as if she would sacrifice herself for him. However, her attempt to save JJ was short-lived as Minkaro intimidatingly orders her to move aside. Empress moves out of the way in fear, while Minkaro runs to the opposite ropes and back to try the suicide dive again. Jared turns around to see his charging opponent. The Great Malevolence hastily spins around and just as Minkaro attempts for a suicide dive, Jerusalem knocks him back inside the ring and down to the mat with a discuss forearm. Luckily the former XWA LionHeart Champion was able to connect as soon as the former 2WWF LionHeart Champion's head stuck out of the middle ropes.

Ted Cedar: Oh Jesus freaking Lopez! That looked like it hurt.... Well everything in wrestling hurts. Damn, the fans buzzed like crazy when they saw that discuss forearm.

Joey Miles: Shit! They say that Jerusalem's forearms are one the most painful in the business.

The Ex-Knockout King member hops up on top of the apron and slicks his hair back in a show-off manner. He then slingshots himself over the ropes with a senton. He flips forward, but lands back-first on the canvas as the Metal Machine rolls out to the top of the aprons, evading the high-flying move. Double J groans from that hard miss. Minkaro pulls himself up to a vertical base, with the assistance of the ropes. He stares down at Jared's laying body, but is surprised as hell when The Great Malevolence bursts back to life with a kip up. The two immediately stare at each other again as the fans begin to sway to Jerusalem's side with their generous cheers. The former Tag Champ goes for a strike, but the Metal Messiah dodges by ducking down and hitting Jerusalem in the mid-section with a shoulder block. Jared staggers back a bit while he's bent down from that shoulder block. Minkaro enters the ring, going through the middle ropes, but Jerusalem gets back in the game and runs towards his foe, who's now inside the squared-circle - but the current XWA World Heavyweight Champion leans down forward and throws his adversary over him with ease, tossing Jerusalem outside of the ring. The Great Malevolence takes a bad fall as he arches his back in agony. Minkaro limbers up, warming up his arms and legs as he awaits for the Piece of Eden to get back up. Jerusalem slowly tries to return to a vertical base, with his one hand pressed against his back due to the pain. While as the World Champ is leaning forward, staring at his fellow combatant with his two hands resting on his laps. The Great Malevolence gets up to his feet, but unknowingly has his back turned from Minkaro, who starts running like crazy towards Jerusalem. The Metal Messiah lunges through the middle ropes and this time, successfully hits the suicide dive onto Jared Jerusalem - knocking Double J down and taking himself out in the process. The fans scream loudly from that big move!

Ted Cedar: Oh Lordy! Lordy! Both men are down! And the ref's already starting to count since both of them are knocked down!

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!

FOUR!

Minkaro begins to show signs of moving.

FIVE!

SIX!

So does Jerusalem, but Minkaro's already up on his feet.

SEVEN!

The World Heavyweight Champion picks up his opponent. The Shrewsbury-native places Jared's head under him and between his legs, in preparation for a powerbomb or something like that. He carries Jerusalem successfully up, though looking like he was about to drop him a couple of times. The Twisted Mind, looking to perform a devastating powerbomb, however The Hypocrite Hunter is able to grab the middle rope. The champ tries to push on with that powerbomb, but Double J has that firm grip on the ropes. Jerusalem then uses his boot and kicks Minkaro in the mush twice. The Lone Wolf lets go and staggers backwards, giving Jerusalem time to pull himself up to a balanced standing position. The Blackpool-native then jumps on the ropes and springboards from them, he flips backwards as he does a springboard moonsault! However, The Last Rock and Roll Star evades by moving slightly backwards, causing Jerusalem to miss - but luckily, Jared lands safely on his feet. Minkaro looked content there for a second but was knocked down easily as JJ followed up by flipping backwards again and kicking Minkaro's forehead with his shin, this time hitting a pele kick. The move sends the Technical Messiah down

Ted Cedar: HOLY MOLY! HOW DID HE DO THAT!?

Joey Miles: Aerial technique baby!

Jerusalem quickly gets back up, even though he seems exhausted. He tries to pick Minkaro up, but gets kneed to the mid-sectio, causing Jared to lean forward in pain as he yelps. He then grabs Jared by the arms and forcefully irish-whips him to the hard steel part, that is covered by the aprons. Minkaro then charges towards to Jerusalem and hits him perfectly at the facial structure with a running bicycle kick. Shades of what Jared tried to do early in the bout. Jared almost falls down, but the Metal Messiah keeps a hold of Jared. He then slides JJ back inside the ring and follows by rolling inside. The Lone Wolf slowly lifts the former XWA LionHeart Champion back to a vertical base, but as soon as he does, Jerusalem shoves him away and surprisingly hits Minkaro with a thunderous superkick! The fans light up with a loud "OH!" as they witness the champion knocked down with a superkick. Jerusalem also descends down after successfully performing his trademark move, but lands on top of the downed Minkaro. The referee considers this as a pinfall and starts counting.

ONE!

TWO!

THR-- KICKOUT!

The World Champ hastily raises his arm up in defiance, right just before could slap the canvas for the third time. Jerusalem comes to his senses, and realizes that he was not able to successfully garner the first pinfall. A little bit of frustration starts to set in the facial expressions of The Great Malevolence. He stands back up and raises his foe up, despite Minkaro feeling a bit like deadweight. He successfully forces the Metal Machine to a vertical base. The former XWA LionHeart Champion then sprints quickly to the ropes, then ricochets back towards his wobbly opponent at the center of the ring. He spins around and goes for that running discuss forearm, but Minkaro ducks down. The Lone Wolf wraps his arms around Jared from behind and tosses him over him with his trademark German suplex! The way he did the German suplex was so strong that it caused his fellow Brit to be flip backwards and land torso-first on the canvas. The impactful thud creates some noise from the fans. Jared rolls to the corner in retreat, and the camera gets a shot of the Piece of Eden's chest lit up in bright pinkish-red after that collision to the mat. The Last Rock and Roll Star gets back up to his feet, despite some exhaustion, and realizes that Jared's trying to get up at the corner area. Minkaro realizes this and crouches down. The champ pulls his long Jesus-like hair back in preparation for his finishing spear. If he can do this, he will win the first fall of this two out of three Falls Count Anywhere match. Jerusalem slowly pulls himself back to his feet, not knowing the terror that's behind him. However Empress, for the second time in this bout, enters the fray. This time with a steel chair to threaten the World Heavyweight Champion. Minkaro returns to his normal standing stance and stares at the woman with his eyebrow raised, as if  he didn't  believe that she could actually hit him with a steel chair. Empress seems hesitant and scared, but still raises the chair against her man's opponent. Minkaro looks at the crowd, who seem to be chanting "Finish her!", he stares back at the mastermind behind Jared Jerusalem and derails her with a running spear! The fans explode, seeing The Lone Wolf almost rip Empress in half with his finishing move. Minkaro gets up, without taking his sights off of the broken Empress. However, as he looks back to his actual opponent. To his shock, Jerusalem runs towards  Minkaro and hits him with his own finishing move. The spear! The crowd rallies on their feet as they see  a ring full of downed bodies.(except for the ref's) Jerusalem drags his lifeless laying body towards Minkaro's and goes for the cover.

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!

Jerusalem successfully gets the first fall!

The referee takes hold of Jared’s shoulder, carefully guiding him away from Minkaro so that the obligatory break between falls can be observed. His confidence boosted by earning the first pin, Jared allows himself to be moved across the ring, watching as Minkaro slides under the bottom rope and out to the arena floor, evidently wanting even more distance between them. The referee joins Minkaro outside the ring, appearing to ask him if he can continue in the match. If looks could kill, the official would likely be a mere smear on the floor by now, as Minkaro glares at him. “THAT WAS MY BLOODY MOVE” he can be heard to bellow. As the referee patiently tries to explain to Minkaro that he does not actually own The Spear, and that it has been part of Jared’s moveset for a long time now, The Hypocrite Hunter sends Empress to the back, clearly concerned for her wellbeing after Minkaro’s Spear. Meanwhile, outside the ring, Minkaro now has his back turned to the match official, his arms folded, and is refusing to listen to any explanations, looking for all the world like a giant, beardy, petulant child. Before long, and understandably, the referee gives up on trying to get Minkaro to participate in the match, rolling back into the ring and starting to count Minkaro out. Loud boos at the attitude that the Shrewsbury native is showing can be heard, but his ruse soon becomes apparent as he charges the ring on the count of nine, dashing towards his opponent only to be floored with a stern dropkick, Jared’s feet meeting his chin with a satisfying crack.

A wagged finger of reproach greets Minkaro as he returns to a vertical base, and he roars in frustration, a wild left hook easily ducked by Jerusalem is answered by a kick to the midsection, causing Minkaro to stumble sideways across the squared circle. With the current World Champion off balance, Jared is able to shove him back into the corner of the ring, his spine thudding against the turnbuckles. A couple of punches to the temple serve to dizzy Minkaro, allowing Jared the time that he needs to back up and hit a Running Forearm Smash. As Minkaro staggers forwards, Jared slips behind him, wrapping his arm around his neck as he does so, in order to lock in a Sleeper Hold. This course of action proves to be ill-advised as The Metal Machine’s superior size means that he is able to force Jared back into the very same corner that he himself once occupied, the force of his back meeting the turnbuckles meaning that he has little choice but to relinquish his grasp upon Minkaro’s neck. Borrowing from his adversary’s earlier tactic, Minkaro swings an elbow behind him, the contact dazing Jared, and allowing Minkaro to wrap his arms around his opponent, and bring him overhead in a Belly to Belly Suplex that sees Jared soar across the ring, landing heavily on his back, and skidding slightly.

A sickening smirk emerges upon Minkaro’s face now, as he stalks his downed prey. This is the kind of smirk that a snake might smirk, were it able to do so. Grabbing hold of the Blackpudlian’s ear, due to his hair not being long enough to grab, Minkaro drags him up to his feet, and pulls his head between his thighs in the Piledriver set-up position. The full nature of Minkaro’s plan soon becomes apparent as he twists his hands over each other, signalling that he is going to attempt Jared’s own Millennia finishing move, an act of revenge for the supposed theft of his own Spear earlier in the match. Unfortunately for Minkaro, this Bond villain style pause to mock his opponent proves his downfall, as Jared is able to suddenly straighten up, twisting his body as he does so, so that he has Minkaro across his shoulders in a Fireman’s Carry. Learning from The Lone Wolf’s mistake, Jared does not pause before he tosses Minkaro into the air, catching him around the head and bringing him crashing down to the canvas in the cutter move that he calls The Unprettier. Sadly for Jared, and those supporting him, the impact of hitting the mat causes Minkaro to bounce away, and the energy exerted in performing that move means that Jared Jerusalem is unable to make the cover immediately, instead having to crawl slowly across to drape his hand across Minkaro’s chest. One…two…th… no! Minkaro’s shoulder departs the mat in time to escape the pin.

The boost of adrenaline needed to kick out is also enough to propel Minkaro up to his knees, whilst Jared is in a similar position due to having been on his front when the pin was made. Neither man bothers to complete the journey to their feet, instead both decide to trade blows from this kneeling position in the centre of the ring. Blow after blow meets chin, each delivered with more force than the last, until before long Minkaro is able to land two in succession, Jerusalem’s energy failing him. Leaning forward and grabbing hold of the back of Jared’s head, Minkaro connects with a ferocious elbow that sees his opponent rocking back and forth. Evidently satisfied that he is dazed enough, Minkaro returns to his feet, and takes several backward paces in order to create some distance between the pair. With enough room to charge at his foe, Minkaro does so, extending his foot out before him in a lower level version of the Yakuza Kick. The move never connects, as Double J spots the attack coming, and ducks his head so that Minkaro’s foot sails over it. As Minkaro is put off-balance by the dodge, Jared Jerusalem is able to grab hold of the trailing leg, tripping Minkaro. This allows him to hook Minkaro’s leg within both of his own, whilst grabbing hold of Minkaro’s head, in his signature STF submission hold. The anguish caused by the move is plain to see on the face of the champ, and the distance to the ropes must seem like miles, with the move being applied almost in the exact centre of the ring.

The outstretched arm of Minkaro reach to its full extent, seemingly threatening to pop out of its socket, but from his current position in the ring it would take an Armstrongian level of stretchability to successfully grasp the bottom rope, and despite having the size and weight advantage over his opponent, he does not possess the stamina to drag a grown man across the ring, especially not when that grown man is trying to remove his head. Yet still he reaches, clawing at the mat around him until…success! The steel chair, earlier wielded by Empress, and hitherto forgotten by seemingly everyone in the arena bar Minkaro, now returns to the fray as it is clumsily hurled over his shoulder in the general direction of Jared’s head, the submission meaning that he is unable to aim the weapon with any great amount of precision. A yelp as the steel lands a glancing blow on The Great Malevolence’s ear is just what Minkaro wanted to hear.  The loosening of Jared’s arms around his neck means that breathing comes easier, and he can now kick to free his leg from the hold. Having freed himself of the Blackpool native’s clutches, Minkaro crawls to the ropes, using them to help himself back up to his feet. He clings to the top rope like a child clutching its mother’s arm, watching warily as Jared, groggy after the chair blow, slowly achieves verticality. Jerusalem staggers forwards, doubling over as he does so, his face just happening to align with the steel chair. It is Minkaro who realises the implications of this position first, as he ignores the pain to dash forwards, leaping into the air and bringing his leg down across the back of Jared’s neck, driving him face first into the chair in his Fameasser move known as Famous Last Words.

As a “Holy Shit!” chant spreads around the arena, Minkaro nudges Jared lightly with his foot, almost as if he himself can’t quite believe the violent nature of the move that he just performed. When Jared does not respond vocally or physically, Minkaro rolls him onto his back and covers him. One…two…th…no? Confused murmurs can be heard amongst the crowd and commentary team as the referee halts his count. The camera zooms in and reveals that rather than Jared Jerusalem kicking out of the move, Minkaro raised his shoulder from the canvas on his behalf. Ignoring the referee’s questions, Minkaro stands, staring at nothing in particular, his lips moving rapidly as he appears to be discussing something with himself at length. Suddenly he bursts out laughing, striding towards Jerusalem. Those in attendance soon “get” the Technical Messiah’s joke when he takes hold of Jared’s legs, hooking a leg under each arm, before turning him over into the Walls of Jerusalem. Minkaro continues to laugh through gritted teeth as he avenges Jared’s earlier use of The Spear, which Minkaro saw as the theft of his own move. Behind Minkaro, Jared has regained consciousness, and probably wishes that he hasn’t, such is the force with which Minkaro is contorting his spine. An almost deafening “Jared! Jared! Jared!” chant can be heard as the crowd are sickened by Minkaro’s tactics. Despite valiant efforts to wriggle out of the hold, or grab hold of ropes or chair, the combination of the submission combined with the existing pain inflicted by the earlier Famous Last Words onto the chair means that Jared is forced to tap out or risk injury.

The two men are now tied 1-1, with the decisive final fall due to start AFTER THIS BREAK. (It’s a really quick break, obviously).
