Triple H will be making what is said to be a huge announcement on WWE RAW tonight. The Game said on WWE SmackDown last Thursday that he would be putting an end to the Royal Rumble controversy. Many are hoping that this means he will be changing the main event of WrestleMania. Meanwhile others believe Triple H will be announcing a few different things.
A lot is rumored tonight from a Brand Split to another Championship being added. Honestly, it is uncertain. WWE has done a great job about keeping this announcement to themselves.
What is up in the air is how this will affect Dean Ambrose. WWE put out an instagram recently involving the “Lunatic Fringe.”
They had a picture up with him on the official WWE Instagram with the words, “How will @tripleh announcement tomorrow on #Raw affect #DeanAmbrose? #Unstable #WWE”
Most would think that this was simply going to be WWE throwing out various WWE Superstars and Divas asking something similar. Interestingly, that was not the case. So many are speculating that WWE will be doing something interesting with Ambrose.
Currently, there are no plans for Ambrose at WrestleMania. Seth Rollins has a rumored match with Randy Orton on deck and Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler will most likely face each other. WWE would like to give Ambrose an important match at the event, but it is uncertain what type of match they will give him. No one wants to see him face Kane or The Big Show. He has been a thorn in the side of The Authority however, so it would make sense to see him take on one or both men.
Since WWE does not want to anger fans anymore than they already have, it is possible that Ambrose could be added to the main event in some way. The only issue with this is that it currently would not make any sense.
It was rumored that Triple H could announce a match at new PPV WWE Fast Lane that would potentially change the match at WresteMania 31. Interesting rumors such as a play-in match or Reigns getting his title match at Fast Lane instead of WrestleMania have both been thrown out there. Sadly, no one exactly knows. The only clue we currently have for tonight is the Instagram involving Dean Ambrose.
So did WWE give us a hint at the announcement in some way, or shoot a red herring our way in hopes for us to not consider other possibilities that the company might be going with? We’ll have to see on WWE RAW tonight.
