There were people backstage that were surprised to see Bray Wyatt defeat Dean Ambrose clean in their Ambulance Match on last Monday’s WWE Raw.

This is a sign that WWE is not completely focused on protecting Ambrose and that Bray Wyatt is a much more important piece heading into WrestleMania 31.

There was a feeling after Wyatt’s Raw win that it could be a sign the company believes Taker is coming back.

Taker is obviously an all-time great and his body of work should be respected, but at this stage in the game, I just don't see how getting a match booked with the Undertaker at Wrestlemania is something prestigious.  Especially when you consider they broke his streak last year.  What's the point now?  I think if they planned to keep trotting Taker out for Wrestlemania, they should have prolonged the streak until he either said he was done, or they decided he couldn't put on the type of performance they were looking for.

His performance last year probably would of been better had he not gotten that concussion.

I don't disagree, but my point is now that he doesn't have the Wrestlemania streak, what's the draw of a Wrestlemania match with the Undertaker?

Honestly, I don't. If the streak were still alive, I think that would certainly be true, but as it stands now, I can't think of a single reason why I'd want to see Bray Wyatt fight an old, decrepit man.

I'd love seeing Taker at WM. Whether it's against Sting or Bray (which is more likely right now.) - I just know it'd be awesome somehow.

I hope it does happen. Finally there would be a storyline with Taker that isn't revolved around the bloody streak, because towards the latter years of it, it was getting pretty unoriginal with the storylines.

Honestly, I just wanna see Taker retire before he gives himself serious health repercussions down the road.

I'm with you, I don't want to see an old version of taker wrestle. A lot of current WWE fans remember Ric Flair as a wheezing, old geezer rather than him in his prime. I'd hate to have taker remembered the same way.

I'm actually really pumped up for this match. It can be the passing of the torch. I rather see Wyatt get this opportunity over Sting.

As we noted in the past, WWE wants to keep Bray Wyatt strong heading into WrestleMania 31 should The Undertaker decide he is able to compete at the big event. If ‘Taker is able to go, then current match plans call for The Dead Man to face Bray Wyatt at the PPV.

According to The Wrestling Observer, when Bray Wyatt defeated Dean Ambrose in an Ambulance Match on Raw last week, some people backstage in WWE took the clean win as a sign that top-level WWE Execs feel Undertaker is ready to compete at WrestleMania 31.

Others in the company took the win as a sign that Dean Ambrose might be turning heel soon, but the likely reason why Wyatt won the match so decisively is because WWE wants him to look like a serious threat to The Undertaker at ‘Mania.
