[This was co-written by me and Razor.]
After a momentous Vendetta #100 event, the arena is ecstatic for the so-called “clean slate” for Vendetta, starting tonight at the 101th edition of the show! Before the crowd can even fully settle into their seats, they are forced to jump out of them to roar with boos, at the sound of a gone-but-not-forgotten theme.
|tedCEDAR|“OH MY GOD! It’s Smoke Xtreme, the COO of XWA! He hasn’t been around in quite a while!”
|joeyMILES|“Holy shit, Cedar! Do I still have shit in my teeth? God, this is embarrassing!”
Out of the stage, smoke. No, not the COO, but actual smoke, covers the stage in a great, big cloud. Smoke Xtreme then jumps out from behind it, wearing a clean white tuxedo and a long ponytail on the back of his head. From behind him, two hulking figures appear in the shapes of his bodyguards, Reiko and Scorpion! They march down the ramp barbarically, assuring that their owner doesn’t get attacked by any of the angry fans. All three men get to the bottom of the ramp, and then Reiko marches up to the apron and pulls the middle rope down, leaving a big gap in between, before Scorpion raises the COO up on his shoulders and places him on the ring apron, Smoke laughs as he steps foot into the ring and his theme dies out. His bodyguards slide in, to follow him, as Smoke grabs a microphone from Laura Watts’ hand in the most violent and abusive way possible. The fans instantly give a huge, rousing, “BOOOO!” as Smoke chuckles inside the ring.
|smokeXTREME“DID YOU MISS ME, BITCHES?!”
“BOOOOO!”
|smokeXTREME“Damn right you did! Why wouldn’t you? I’m fucking awesome! Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls… I am ecstatic tonight! I am over the edge, I am happy. Why so? Well, last week was the momentous Vendetta 100 and it could not have been more epic of a show!”
Some of the crowd members cheer, agreeing.
|smokeXTREME“That said… I have been watching from the back for the past few months, and I have to say… I am not impressed. Sure, last week was great. But aside from last week, we have been far less-than-impressive. I expect more, I expect MUCH more."
Smoke says this with a completely serious look on his face.
|smokeXTREME"I mean come ON. I left Thomas Barnez in charge because I thought I could trust him, but what has he done with my company? People in the back are angry, I have never had this many complaints! What about my world title? Why are people playing hot-potato with the most coveted prize in the company? Not to mention the fact that it belongs to that insane lunatic MIRAGE, of all people!"
Smoke looks around.
|smokeXTREME"Hey, it could be worse. Some sellout like David Michaels could be holding it, but this is still unacceptable! I blame myself for this. I should have never left my company in such a delicate position. And because of this, I am now officially declaring that I am transferring ownership of the brand back to myself, I am reinstating myself as the General Manager of Vendetta so that I can personally get it out of this rut!"
"BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" This New York crowd is very clearly not pleased with the decision.
|smokeXTREME"Oh please, you need me here and you know it. Under my leadership, this company will rise right back to the top. We will have quality champions, quality leaders, and quality shows. It's a whole new era, as I officially usher myself in as--"
As the hard drums of "Zero Visibility" by Rise Against boom through the speakers, the fans have no choice but to give a powerful mixed reaction. They still don't like this man, but he just cut off the annoying Smoke Xtreme and his tirade. Out of the back comes none other than "The Greatest of All Time" Razor Xtreme! He dons his signature black cut-up robe-like cape, and whatever else he's wearing is irrelevant in comparison, because look how badass that cape looks!
|tedCEDAR|"It's Razor Xtreme! Smoke Xtreme's angry and much tougher older brother! Last time both of these men were out here, Smoke fired him!"
|joeyMILES|"I don't think this is gonna end well. I'm gonna cover myself before the shit hits the fan."
Razor walks down the ramp angrily and quickly, as Smoke looks back in terror at the sight of his evil older brother. Razor marches up the steps as Smoke's bodyguards attempt to intimidate Razor, but Razor ignores them and walks inside the ring. He gets right in Smoke's face as the bodyguards try to force him back. Razor already has a microphone in hand and he instantly begins to speak as his theme dies out.
|razorXTREME|"You have got to be kidding me. Really? You? Every time you put your hands on anything, it shits right in your face, you are worthless, and you should just go back to being useless in your stupid little office!"
Smoke fearfully replies to the only man in the company aside from McDigg who intimidates him.
|smokeXTREME"Razor! Buddy... I see you're still upset."
Razor has to hold back from punching Smoke in the face right on the spot.
|razorXTREME|"Upset? You think I'm upset? Now why would that be, huh? Is it because last time we were in this ring, you decided to ruin my career and fire me when I was on top of the world?"
|smokeXTREME"Whoa whoa whoa, you know that was nothing personal!"
|razorXTREME|"I'M YOUR BROTHER YOU SON OF A BITCH. As much as I'm ashamed to say it, I am your brother, of course it's personal! And now, you wanna come in and try to take over the show? It was just fine when I was GM, if anything you should repromote me, and make up for your biggest mistake! I swore on my life when I left that I would be back for you and I think I might have my chance right now."
Before Razor can pounce, Smoke cowers behind his guards and begins to talk.
|smokeXTREME"Heyy heyyy heyyyyy! C'mon brother, relax! Relax, relax. See, I know I screwed up. I was under a lot of pressure, McDigg was in town and he wasn't gonna let me off the hook, I HAD to do something! But, what if I said I could make up for that, huh? I mean, think about it. These past few months haven't been very good for Razor Xtreme, have they?"
Razor's face becomes angrier as Smoke gets a big chuckle.
|smokeXTREME"Have you even WON a match since returning? It seems every time I watch this show - which isn't very often, if I might add - you're taking a pounding. You're losing, you're not... winning."
|razorXTREME|"You better be going somewhere with this."
|smokeXTREME"Of course, of course. See, what if I told you that I could change that? I know I screwed up when I fired you, so let me make up for that. As GM, I will make sure that you have all the opportunities that you so rightfully deserve! Starting with tonight. How does a match in the main event sound for you? You deserve to headline shows, after nearly seven years here, you deserve something!"
Razor's frown begins to disappear.
|razorXTREME|"A main event match? About time I get what I deserve for a change."
|smokeXTREMESmoke Xtreme: "That's right, and that's only the beginning. I have many more plans, if you promise to stay on my side."
Razor nods his head up and down.
|razorXTREME|"Brother."
Razor and Smoke then shake hands as the fans begin to boo very loudly. Suddenly, a theme kills this bonding moment. A theme that causes this crowd to cheer for the first time tonight.
Disturbed's "Down With The Sickness" huts to a roaring reaction from the audience, as Thomas Barnez steps onto the stage.
|tedCEDAR|"Thomas Barnez! Here comes the real General Manager!"
|joeyMILES|"SOMEBODY GON' GET GORED!"
Barnez stops on the stage, with a microphone in hand. He doesn't look too happy in the slightest. Once his music dies down, he begins speaking.
|thomasBARNEZ|"What the fuck is this? Do you honestly believe you're going to run in here, take my position and start using your bias to give your own brother opportunities he hasn't earned?"
|smokeXTREME|"Tommy, look--"
|thomasBARNEZ|"Shut your cockroach mouth when I'm speaking."
The audience pops big time for Thomas shutting up Smoke.
|thomasBARNEZ|"Guess what, Smoke. Contrary to your belief, you don't run this company. We have a group of people known as the board of directors for that and they sure as hell ain't gonna be happy with you coming in here and doing favors for your brother. So, here's what going to happen. Until I get a chance to speak with the board of directors, I'M still General Manager. You want to put Razor in the main event, tonight? Fine. I'm choosing his opponent, though."
|razorXTREME|"Choose whoever you want. I'm the greatest of all time and that isn't just a nickname. Who do you got for me, huh? Riley Williamson? Xtreme Icon? Maybe you're gonna step in the ring with me and I'll kick your oversized ass. Is that it?"
|thomasBARNEZ|"As much as I'd love to beat the everloving fuck out of you, and believe me, I would, I'm not allowed to wrestle my employees. Be, don't worry, I've got just the choice to fight you tonight. You'll be taking on the Cruiser-X Champion, Akira Kobayashi!"
The audience cheers again, as the main event of the evening is confirmed. Razor lets out a chuckle, however, not appearing intimidated in the slightest.
|razorXTREME|"The Cruiser-X Champion? I wouldn't piss on that championship because it isn't good enough for my golden stream. Good pick, Thomas. It looks like XWA will be without a champion after tonight."
He lets out another laugh, as Smoke joins in this time.
|thomasBARNEZ|"You know, a good friend of mine once said arrogance is bliss. It's also ignorance. Good luck, tonight. You'll need it."
Thomas drops the microphone on the stage, as he exits to the back, leaving an amused Razor and Smoke Xtreme behind. The show fades to a commercial break.

Razor about to kick some ass tonight.
Also, this was fun to write. Haven't gotten to use Razor and Smoke in promos for a while.
