As noted, Dixie Carter announced that Kurt Angle will have a major announcement on Wednesday's live TNA Impact Wrestling episode on Destination America.

Angle spoke with the Associated Press this week to promote Impact and commented on returning to the ring:

"It looks like I'll be wrestling here sooner rather than later, if that gives you a hint. I had an incredible career at WWE but my career has actually been better in TNA."

The article also notes that Dixie will miss Wednesday's show to represent the network at the Television Critics Association conference. Dixie told the AP that Impact will include more input from social media and incorporate elements of reality TV. We noted this in a backstage report earlier today. Dixie said:

"We're going to pull the curtain back and have cameras where they've not been before. You're going to see some changes that will help the viewer feel a stronger connection to the show and the characters. It will be a new way of watching it compared to what we've had in the past."
