- As previously reported, WWE announced that they suspended Kevin Nash’s legends contract until his domestic issue with his son is resolved. Nash was set to appear on the January 19 edition of RAW at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas (along with Scott Hall, Shawn Michaels and Hulk Hogan). It’s the last episode before the Royal Rumble.
Nash is currently still advertised on WWE’s page for the show and the official American Airlines Arena website.
– In the initial report of Nash’s arrest, TMA said that Nash “chokeslammed” his son Tristen during their altercation. TMZ exaggerated the details. A police report, revealed by E! News, shows a different version. Their report says that Tristen claimed that Nash “took a hold of his throat with one hand” and grabbed his right shoulder with his other hand, then “forced him down to the ground by his upper chest, neck area and shoulder.”
He added that Nash held him down by his chest and added pressure to it, which made it hard to breathe. He told police that he hit the back of his head on the ground and “blacked out” for “a second or two”. He added that he also hit his elbow and received a cut.
