TMZ reports that Amanda Bynes was spotted on the streets of New York City last night, where several witnesses claim they saw her talking to a tree and other inanimate objects. They also said that while she was in Union Square she seemed “very paranoid”.

The former actress was seen smoking and dressed in sweatpants as she went into the Cartier jewelry store on the Upper East Side. She had a bandage under her eye. She didn’t appear to buy anything, as she left the store later while covering her face.

This follows previous reports that Bynes was acting bizarre at LAX before her flight to New York. Those close to her believe the “situation is dire”.
